Race 4	Pump & Engineering Services Ltd Stakes - C1 - 527	LET EM TALK presented 1.6kg up in weight from its previous start with connections advising a weight increase was intentional. The payment of dividends was withheld following this event due to the short lure distance rounding the bend into the back straight. After reviewing footage Stewards were satisfied no runner was materially affected by the variance. It was determined following this event the lure had temporarily lost power due to a connection fault. The fault was repaired the lure tested prior to the next event. FIRST LIGHT (1) - tightened and checked first turn shifting wider making contact. Shifted out off heels entering the back straight becoming unbalanced losing ground. Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality. OPAWA KIRK (2) - began awkwardly. Hampered rounding the first bend. Checked rounding the first bend shifting out off heels.
