This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Injury Trial required

1) TINY TAYLEE ( S Stone ) fell during the running of a Qualifying trial and was referred to the vet she was found have bruising and swelling to the left scapula with X-rays taken showing no fracture. A 90 day stand down has been recommended.
TINY TAYLEE will be required to complete an injury trial before being eligible to nominate after the expiry of the stand down.
Trainer S Stone has advised the stewards that this greyhound has now been retired.

2) STOLE ME MONEY S Gommans referred to the vet after qualifying trial has pain over right thigh muscle and has been stood down for 10 days.

BIG TIME STORM (3) - hampered in the run into the bend as BIG TIME NAVY angled across. HIGHVIEW NESS (5) - tightened and checked back in the early stages angling out across heels racing wide into the bend bumping with COILED SPRING for a stride or so. Raced widest thereafter. COILED SPRING (7) - checked soon after the start as ENGINE ROOM angled across. Forced to check off heels entering the bend bumping with HIGHVIEW NESS.
Race 2	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 457m Heats November 26th C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457	BIG TIME ODETTE (1) - severely tightened and contacted the rail entering the bend losing ground back towards the rear. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. DAPPER RAPPER (2) - bumped soon after the start. Dictated inwards onto BIG TIME ODETTE and was forced to check entering the bend losing ground. ALLEGRO PIPPA (3) - dictated inwards soon after the start running inwards and bumping into DAPPER RAPPER. ADOBE GIRL (4) - checked soon after the start as RHODES WORTHY angled in across her line. She was forced to check into the bend losing momentum and ground RHODES WORTHY (5) - angled inwards from the jump checking ADOBE GIRL and dictated ALLEGRO PIPPA inwards. Entering the bend he angled inwards tightening DAPPER RAPPER in onto BIG TIME ODETTE causing both runners to abruptly check. he was then checked as BIG TIME STUNNER angled across coming together with BIG TIME REWARD BIG TIME STUNNER (6) - angled into the bend causing tightening to runners in behind. BROKE BRAD (7) - checked into the bend as BIG TIME REWARD cut in across his line. BIG TIME REWARD (8) - entering the bend he cut in across the line of BROKE BAD and ran onto the heels of BIG TIME STUNNER checking onto RHODES WORTHY and outwards into the line of BROKE BAD.
Race 3	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 457m $30,000 Final Dec. 3rd C5 - C5 - 457	JILLIBY JAC (2) - hampered into the bend when contatced in the hindquarters and was unbalanced for a stride or so. BIG TIME BRYNN (6) - only fairly away in the early stages. Attempted to angle into the bend catching heels and stumbling and almost fell losing momentum and ground recovered back into stride finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and found to have sprained his right hock. A 21 day stand down period was recommended.
Race 4	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1 - 410	BIG TIME CHASE (4) - slow into stride and was unable to get into contention thereafter finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and found to have pain over left gracilis as well as right stifle and hock areas. A 14 day stand down period was recommended. KIOSK (6) - contact and unbalanced for a stride or so racing onto the bend when contatced in the hindquarters. Angled in across the line of DEFER FIRE in the run across the top bend. DEFER FIRE (7) - contatced the hind quarters of KIOSK in the run towards the top bend. came back off the heels of KIOSK soon after as this runner angled inwards.
Race 5	Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 410	KING KOBE (1) - settled handy in the running to the top bend where he checked as PRETTY BELINDA crossed to the rail. Hampered on the home turn when clipped from behind and weakened in the run to the line. Referred to the vet and found to have sprained his right hock. A 28 day stand down period was recommended. SWEENEY TODD (2) - slow away as usual style. Hampered when looking to clear heels on the home turn made good ground thereafter to the line. IDOL ZIGGY (3) - angled out across heels in the run to the home turn racing wide into the home straight. HIGHVIEW TIGGER (7) - raced widest throughout covering some extra ground in the running.
Race 6	Outback Trading Company C1 - C1 - 410	CHECK ME OUT (2) - contact racing from the start and pushed outwards for some strides as PORCELAIN PANDA pushed outwards. She was checked into the bend and unbalanced for a few strides losing momentum and ground. Angled to the rail in the run across the top bend checking runner to her inner. UNCLE ALBERT (3) - checked racing from the start losing momentum to settle a clear last in the running. Improved onto the top bend and was checked as CHECK ME OUT angled to the rail. He made strong ground to the line in the latetr stages. BIG TIME STAR (4) - angled across the line of UNCLE ALBERT racing from the start. PORCELAIN PANDA (9/1) - pushed outwards soon after the start hampering CHECK ME OUT for some strides. Forced to abruptly check into the bend of the back of BIG TIME JUICY severely hampering CHECK ME OUT. Made ground wider out in the run into the home straight weakening in the latter to the line. Referred to the vet and found to have pain over the left gracilis muscle with a 10 day stand down period recommended
Race 7	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	GOTCHA COOPER (5) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. came together with MILO TONIGHT in the run onto the top bend. MILO TONIGHT (6) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted then checked as JILLIBY LITSA cut in across his line. He came together with GOTCHA COOPER in the run onto the top bend.
Race 8	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 410m Heats November 26th C2 - C2 - 410	ALLEGRO ZAC (1) - handy into the bend when checked as BIG TIME HAUTU angled inwards to the rail. Racing onto the top bend he checked off the back of BIG TIME HAUTU going back onto WAITING GAME and lost several lengths. WIFI WILBUR (2) - hampered racing from the start as BIG TIME YONKERS angled across his line. HOMEBUSH MANDY (4) - tightened and checked being jostled racing from the start. She lost momentum and ground checking wide into the bend finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. WAITING GAME (6) - checked into the bend as BIG TIME HAUTU angled in across her line. Checked in the run across the top bend as ALLEGRO ZAC came back on her.
Race 9	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 410m $15,000 Final Dec. 3rd C5 - C5 - 410	BIG TIME REBEL (1) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. looked to improve into the bend and was held up for a couple of strides. Weakened in the latter stages to the line. BEES AND BIRDS (3) - hampered in the initial stages as LIFE IS GOOD pushed inwards for several strides. Angled outwards in the run around the bend racing wide in the run to the line. LIFE IS GOOD (4) - from the jump he angled inwards for some strides then came outwards when checked as BIG TIME BRODY angled in across his line. BIGTIME BRODY (5) - soon after the start he angled in across the line of LIFE IS GOOD. SCREAMING VIKING (7) - angled over heels into the bend and soon after was clipped from behind then raced wide and was dictated extremely wide into the home straight. ROYAL RACCOON (8) - awkwardly placed on the outer entering the bend and soon after ran onto the hind of SCREAMING VIKING and checked for a couple of strides.
Race 10	Big Barrel Palmerston North C3 - C3 - 410	K Gommans advised the stewards that OTIS has been retired from racing. BIG TIME PAISLEY (4) - hampered when clipped from behind entering the bend . OPAWA LYNDSAY (5) - jostled between runners for some strides in the early stages. Hampered for some strides when tightened and jostled in the run to the line in the latetr stages. ALLEGRO MADDIE (7) - forced to check out over heels entering the bend hampering following runner. OTIS (8) - forced to check wide off heels in the run towards the top bend. settled back and was unable to improve to the line.
Race 11	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 720m Heats November 26th C3 - C3 - 410	JUST LIKE LUCY (5) - angled out across the heels of BIG TIME GWYN soon after the start .Hampered for some strides into and onto the the top bend when jostling with BIG TIME KATY. BIG TIME GWYN (6) - soon after the start she angled in across the line of JUST LIKE LUCY. ALLEGRO PEACHES (7) - hampered when dictated into the side of BIG TIME KATY for several strides. BIG TIME KATY (8) - angled into bend and was contacted in the hindquarters becoming unbalanced for some strides and was unable to improve around JUST LIKE LUCY until clearing this runner and angled inwards across the top bend.
Race 12	Premier Meeting @ Palmerston Nth 720m $15,000 Final Dec. 3rd C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410	SO EXCITED (1) - in the run to the bend he angled outwards across the face of some runners. BUTTER CHURN (2) - angled outwards from the jump causing tightening and checks to several runners before being pushed back inwards losing momentum. Angled outwards nearing the home turn coming together and jostling with WATERLOO PINK on a couple of occasions. XANTHONE (3) - racing from the start she was was severely crowded and jostled between runners then checked losing momentum and ground. She settled back and was unable to get into contention there after. WATERLOO PINK (4) - checked soon after the start as runners came inwards and outwards for several strides. She angled out across heels to race wide around the bend coming together with BUTETR CHURN on a couple of occasions into the home straight. BIG TIME VERSACE (6) - racing from the start she was crowded and jostled between runners for some strides. ELUSIVE ALIBI (7) - angled across sharply from the jump causing severe crowding to runners to his inner for a couple of strides. BIG TIME LEBRON (8) - hampered for a couple of strides in the run to the bend.
