Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Performance noted. TONKAWA (4) - boxed first. OHOKA LACEY (5) - crowded the racing room of HOMEBUSH ROXY entering the bend. MULBERRY SOX (7) - boxed first. Came up with the lid and was slow away. SOZIN'S ROYAL (8) - slow early.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Lesley Roberts Dash - C1 - 295	CHICAGO HEAD (4) - boxed first. Lost momentum when hindquarters contacted rounding the bend. PRIMO DOLL (5) - raced on the hindquarters of CHICAGO HEAD rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH SAYER (7) - shifted off heels approaching the bend.
Race 3	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C1 - 295	PASCALE JEWEL (2) - shouldered briefly with JACKIE in the run to the bend. JACKIE (3) - shouldered briefly with PASCALE JEWEL in the run to the bend. MITCHAM GOLDIE (4) - placed in restricted room rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH POPPY (6) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. LUCKY LUCIANO (8) - slow early.
Race 4	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 295	MULBERRY ROCK (2) - boxed first. Collided with GOLDSTAR FARRYN on jumping. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. GOLDSTAR FARRYN (3) - boxed first. Collided with MULBERRY ROCK on jumping. Checked off heels approaching the bend. OPAL NORA (6) - contacted from the outside early stages. Crowded approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH JET (7) - shouldered down onto OPAL NORA early stages. AMURI FURY (8) - shouldered HOMEBUSH JET down onto OPAL NORA early stages.
Race 5	Crate & Barrel Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR JUSTICE (1) - shouldered from the outside in the run to the bend. CASH NO STASH (2) - shouldered down onto GOLDSTAR JUSTICE in the run to the bend. MITCHAM DAWN (3) - shouldered CASH NO STASH down onto GOLDSTAR JUSTICE in the run to the bend. ANGRY PETE (4) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with connections advising it had benefited from having an uninterrupted run in front. SMASH JAGGER (5) - hindquarters raced on early stages. HOMEBUSH COMET (7) - raced on the hindquarters of SMASH JAGGER early stages. ADOBE FOX (8) - slow early.
Race 6	Clarkson's Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH ARIANA (2) - raced in tight quarters rounding the bend. KING KONG BLONDE (5) - hindquarters contacted early stages. GOLDSTAR VALE (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages before being placed on the hindquarters of KING KONG BLONDE. KNOW BEAST (7) - slow early before being forced down onto the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR VALE.
Race 7	Suck It Up Ltd Sprint - C1 - 295	KNOW POPS (2) - crowded entering the bend. EPIC DORRIE (3) - slow early. Checked and coursed wide rounding the bend. Referred tot he Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR LORENZO (4) - shouldered down the track in the run to the bend and into the running line of KNOW POPS. AMURI JOSIE (5) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend. FEAR ALL POUNAMU (6) - shouldered GOLDSTAR LORENZO down the track in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH BOMBER (7) - checked from behind rounding the bend.
Race 8	christchurchgreyhounds.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR MONROE (1) - crowded and checked rounding the bend losing ground. UNCLE FRANK (3) - caught on heels rounding the bend losing ground before being hampered when racing to the outside of GOLDSTAR MONROE. HOMEBUSH BEDE (4) - shouldered with MUSTARD CUSTARD early stages. MUSTARD CUSTARD (5) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH BEDE early stages before being crowded from the outside. HOMEBUSH SPARKLE (6) - crowded the racing line of MUSTARD CUSTARD early stages. BLAZING BANJO (7) - forced down onto MUSTARD CUSTARD approaching the bend. AMURI JET (8) - forced BLAZING BANJO down onto MUSTARD CUSTARD approaching the bend. Heels clipped rounding the bend.
Race 9	Selwyn-Rakaia Vet Services Stakes - C1 - 520	INFINITY ONE (2) - checked off heels exiting the final bend. GOLDSTAR VARGAS (3) - came together with OPAWA JANE first bend. FEAR ALL TANIWHA (4) - heels clipped exiting the final bend. SMASH DEVIL (5) - slow early shifting up the track in the run to the first bend. OPAWA JANE (6) - came together with GOLDSTAR VARGAS first bend.
Race 10	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH HERO (2) - clipped the heels of MITCHAM QUEEN in the run to the bend. Checked off heels exiting the bend. MITCHAM QUEEN (3) - heels clipped in the run to the bend. REDDY MOTH (6) - caught on heels entering the bend checking outwards and losing ground. GOLDSTAR ANGE (8) - checked from the inside entering the bend losing ground.
Race 11	Travel Bug Charlie On Instagram Sprint - C2 - 295	REGAL JOCK (1) - checked off heels exiting the bend bumping with BILLY BUDD. GOLDSTAR WILLA (2) - lost ground when racing in restricted room entering the bend. PUNCH ON BUZZ (3) - lost ground when racing in restricted room entering the bend. BILLY BUDD (4) - slow early. Contacted from the inside exiting the bend.
Race 12	RE-ENERGISE Dash - C2 - 295	BOOTSTRAP BILL (1) - jostled with GOLDSTAR MAJOR in the run to the bend. BARBARA'S ANGEL (2) - placed on heels early stages. GOLDSTAR MAJOR (4) - muzzle became detached while in the boxes with this hanging round the greyhounds neck during the running. Jostled with BOOTSRAP BILL in the run to the bend before being placed in restricted room losing ground.
