Judicial report: This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Abandoned Races:

1). Race 5 was abandoned after the lids failed to open with Starter J Davis hand releasing the lids well after the lure had passed. Stewards spoke with Mrs Davis and explained what is expected should she face the same scenario in future. In taking this course of action Stewards were mindful of Mrs Davis's inexperience. Stewards also spoke with Club officials who undertook to provide Mrs Davis with some extra training.

Race 2	Garrards Horse & Hound Sprint - C2 - 375	FORD MAN (2) - shouldered with RAILING RACCOON early stages. Checked outwards off heels approaching the bend. RAILING RACCOON (3) - shouldered with FORD MAN early stages. MADE A WISH (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Checked and lost momentum when placed in restricted room entering the bend. NANA MOLLY (5) - placed in restricted room early stages racing on the hindquarters of MADE A WISH as a consequence. MITCHAM GREG (6) - raced in restricted room early stages.
Race 3	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 1 - C1q - 375 Heat 1	YOU'RE A REBEL (3) - collided with VEGAS CHOPS early stages. Lost ground when awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend. Shouldered with FIRST LIGHT exiting the bend. VEGAS CHOPS (4) - collided with YOU'RE A REBEL early stages losing ground. FIRST LIGHT (5) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. Shouldered with YOU'RE A REBEL exiting the bend. DOUBLE HEADER (7) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 4	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2	WAITERIMU RIPPER (2) - shouldered with LET EM TALK entering the bend. STAY ME BROKE (4) - slow early. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. LET EM TALK (5) - forced into restricted room entering the bend having to check and lose ground. SMOKIN' CHIMNEY (8) - shouldered with LET EM TALK entering the bend placing this runner in restricted room.
Race 5	Pinny Mack At Stud Distance - C1/2d - 650	Race abandoned due to the lids not opening.
Race 6	Vetora Cambridge Sprint - C5 - 375	PEDRO LEE (2) - slow early. Raced in restricted room entering and rounding the bend. PEACH MELBA (8) - slow early.
Race 7	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C3/4 - 375	THRILLING BLISS (5) - crowded early stages. Heels raced on entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence. MARGAUX (7) - awkwardly placed on the heels of THRILLING BLISS entering the bend.
Race 8	Farmlands Virkon Stakes - C2/3 - 457	CHASE ME DOWN (6) - shifted off heels in the run to the bend. SOVEREIGN ALICE (7) - shouldered briefly with LUCCA exiting the bend. LUCCA (8) - began awkwardly. Shouldered briefly with SOVEREIGN ALICE exiting the bend.
Race 9	Greyhounds North Maiden Distance - C0d - 650	This race was started by hand. PICCOLO (1) - hindquarters raced on early stages. DADDY DONNY (2) - raced on the hindquarters of PICCOLO early stages. Crowded rounding the first bend. SHANMARIA (3) - hindquarters raced approaching the first bend. BORING (4) - raced on the hindquarters of SHANMARIA approaching the first bend. BRICKMAN (7) - began awkwardly
Race 10	Mike Stent Decorators Ltd Stakes - C4/5 - 457	ANTONIO (2) - held up rounding the bend. JUST AS MUCH (3) - raced in restricted room early stages. Checked entering the bend.
