1) ZAMAH (D Edlin) - race 5.
2) All runners trained by S Lozell were late scratchings due to road closures in the Central North Island. JUST AS MUCH & BEAU BEAU (race 8) and HOT LITTLE NANCY (race 9).
3) THRILLING GINA (K Lincoln-Papuni) - race 4, on veterinary advice at kenneling.

Stand Downs Recindered.

1) BIG TIME PAISLEY (L Cole) was re-examined by the on track veterinarian following a stand down at Wanganui GRC, 6 August 2021 and cleared of injury.

Referred to the vet and cleared of injury. ENGINE ROOM (2) - bumped with BIG TIME RYDER at the start. Soon after she was jostled and angled out across heels. ran wide into the bend dictating EDDIE EVEREST wide. BIG TIME RYDER (3) - bumped with ENGINE ROOM at the start then angled outwards. He angled inwards entering the bend across the line of ALLEGRO ROBBIE. EDDIE EVEREST (4) - dwelt at the jump. Angled outwards into the bend and was dictated wider as ENGINE ROOM along his inner. HIGHVIEW HOWARD (5) - dwelt at the jump then angled out across heels. led entering the bend and was checked as HIGHVIEW ANNA angled in across his line. BIG TIME FLAME (6) - soon after the start she was pushed inwards for several strides as ALLEGRO ROBBIE angled across. Soon after he was bumped as ALLEGRO ROBBIE angled to the rail. ALLEGRO ROBBIE (7) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to his inner for a few strides. Soon after he bumped into BIG TIME FLAME and went back across her heels. Entering the bend he was checked and lost ground as BIG TIME RYDER angled in across his line. HIGHVIEW ANNA (9/8) - angled into the bend across the line of HIGHVIEW HOWARD.
Race 2	J P Print, Petone Final C1 - C1f - 410	BIG TIME HARRY (1) - racing from the start he was dictated inwards as DEFER FIRE angled across. Entering the bend he was checked and angled out across heels and raced wide thereafter. DEFER FIRE (4) - angled across from the jump bumping and dictating BIG TIME HARRY inwards for a few strides. ALLEGRO ZAC (7) - fav- only fairly away. Settled midfield angled in across the line of BIG TIME HARRY entering the bend.
Race 3	Bigtime Paddy at Stud C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	THRILLING GINA was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice. BIG TIME BANGER (1) - racing handy when checked and lost some ground on the top bend as ALLEGRO RUBY angled in across his line. ALLEGRO RUBY (3) - angled into the bend hampering BIG TIME BANGER for a couple of strides. GAZZA'S GIRL (6) - contact on jumping away. She was then pushed inwards as ALLEGRO PIPPA angled across she then checked out across heels racing wide therafter. BIG TIME RIDGE (7) - ran into GAZZA'S GIRL as they came off the mats. ALLEGRO PIPPA (8) - angled across from the jump running on into GAZZA'S GIRL . She settled in the midfield coming back off heels as they entered the bend. HIGHVIEW SPUD (9/5) - soon after the star the was pushed inwards into tight quarters being jostled and catching heels losing some ground.
Race 4	Paul Claridge Electrical C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410	SCREAMING VIKING (3) - soon after the start he was checked for a stride as BIG TIME VERSACE angled to the rail .Came back off heels across the top bend and came together with MY BENTLY on the home turn PENNY MOWHAWK (4) - checked over heels entering the bend. BIG TIME MAY (7) - began awkwardly contacting runner to her inner momenterily. POP FLASH (8) - slowest into stride by a few lengths. Made ground around runners MY BENTLEY (9/2) - came back off heels entering the bend. Came together with SCREAMING VIKING on the home turn. BIG TIME VERSACE (10/6) - contact momentarily leaving the boxes angling inwards sharply across towards the rail checking SCREAMING VIKING for a stride.
Race 5	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410	ZAMAH was a late scratching prior to leaving for the track. LIFE IS GOOD (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so and was then tightened and checked back losing some ground. Unable to clear heels entering the bend having to abruptly check outwards contacting BIG TIME SMILE BIG TIME GWYN (3) - racing into the bend she was severely tightened for a few strides BIG TIME SPOT (5) - soon after the start he angled inwards onto BIG TIME GWYN and jostled, SPARKLE PONY came in from her outer causing severe tightening and was forced back from between runners. BIG TIME SMILE (6) - dwelt at the jump ran onto heels and checked entering the bend and caught heels checking for some strides. She lost ground finishing in the rear at the line. Referred to the vet and has pain on flexion of right wrist. A 14 day stand down was recommended. SPARKLE PONY (7) - angled in soon after the start. Soon after she was dictated inwards being severely tightened in onto BIG TIME SPOT losing momentum and ground. Racing across the top bend she was checked and lost ground when running onto heels. THRILLING BRAX (8) - angled across into the bend causing severe tightening and checks to several runners with himself being contatced in the hindquarters and unbalanced for a stride or so.
Race 6	Big Barrel Palmerston North C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457	BIG TIME PANDA (3) - checked and pushed sideways turning in as CUMBRIA LAD angled inwards. CUMBRIA LAD (7) - angled inwards turning in severely tightening BIG TIME PANDA to his inner for a couple of strides.
Race 7	Total Bodyshop Supplies C3 - C3 - 457	BIG TIME REWARD (1) - tightened and jostled for several strides in the run to the bend. He recovered well to keep a handy position in the running. BIG TIME TASTY (2) - tightened in onto BIG TIME REWARD for several strides into the bend TEKKI JIM (3) - tightened inwards onto BIG TIME TASTY for several strides racing into the bend becoming unbalanced for a few strides losing momentum and ground. BIG TIME JIMMY (4) - angled across into the bend causing tightening to to TEKKI JIM, BIG TIME TASTY and BIG TIME REWARD for several strides. HE'S ALI (5) - slight bump early stages. Ran onto heels and checked entering the bend. Made good ground thereafter to the line.
Race 8	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C5 - C5 - 410	JUST AS MUCH and BEAU BEAU were late scratching due to adverse weather conditions for transport. WIFI BOLT (1) - hampered for a couple of strides racing into the bend as BEES AND BIRDS angled inwards. Handy into the home straight weakened in the latter stages to the line. Referred to the vet and has pain on flexion of left wrist. A 14 day stand down was recommended. BEES AND BIRDS (3) - angled into the bend hampering WIFI BOLT for a couple of strides. RAPID FIRE (6) - began awkwardly settled back made some ground in the latter stages to the line. SO EXCITED (7) - fav- hampered for some strides in the early running as BIG TIME DOMINO angled across. He was checked entering the bend losing momentum and ground as BIG TIME DOMINO crossed his line. He was unable to improve thereafter and was referred to the vet and cleared of injury. BIG TIME DOMINO (9/8) - soon after the start he angled inwards hampering SO EXCITED for a few strides. Entering the bend he angled inwards across the line of SO EXCITED.
Race 9	Outback Trading Company C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410	HOTLITTLE NANCY was a late scratching due to adverse weather conditions for transport. BIG TIME LEBRON (1) - raced handy into the bend moving outwards contacting and checking BIG TIME TED. BIG TIME TED (2) - racing handy into the bend when contatced and went sideways off BIG TIME LEBRON losing momentum and a few lengths. ADOBE GIRL (4) - angled outwards in the run to the bend dictating THRILLING OTIS outwards for a few strides. THRILLING OTIS (5) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. Soon after he was pushed outwards as ADOBE GIRL angled outwards. He settled back in the midfield to the line. Referred to the vet and has pain in the right hind gracilis. A 14 day stand down was recommended. TRUTH HURTS (7) - checked racing onto the top bend as BIG TIME TED was checked ahead losing momentum and ground. YESENIA (8) - began awkwardly and was slow into stride. She was dictated wide to the bend before angling to the rail was unable to improve to the line. Referred to the vet and was found to have pain over the left hind gracilis. A 10 day stand down was recommended.
