Judicial report: Late Scratching.

1) HIGHVIEW NESS ( G & S Fredrickson ) was a late scratching due to coming into season.

Abandonment.

1) The meeting was abandoned after race 5 due to the track becoming firm with remedial work being unable to be carried out in a timely manner.

Trial required.

1) ZIPPING LUTHER (J & D Bell) - solo trial required.

Race 1	greyhoundtips.co.nz C0 - C0 - 410	BIG TIME ZINGER (1) - fav- crowded and jostled entering the bend having to abruptly check out off heels running into BLUE ACHEIVER on the top bend .Checked turning in when coming together with ALLEGRO QUEEN. ADOBE PEBBLES (2) - out well raced handy in tight quarters into the bend and was checked as BIG TIME POKEMON crossed her line checking out into the line of BIG TIME ZINGER. BOBBY DAZZLER (3) - led out into the bend and was unbalanced coming together with BIG TIME ZINGER going sideways for a couple of strides HIGHVIEW SAMMY (4) - awkwardly away for a stride or so and was dictated across as HIGHVIEW SPUD angled inwards. BIG TIME POKEMON (6) - contact in the hindquarters entering the bend. BLUE ACHIEVER (7) - dwelt at the jump and caught heels as he ran out and stumbled. Bumped and checked on the top bend losing ground. Referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. HIGHVIEW SPUD (9/5) - angled inwards from the jump forcing HIGHVIEW SAMMY inwards for several strides.
Race 2	PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C0 - C0 - 457	EDDIE EVEREST (1) - soon after the start the angled outwards and was bumped as BIG TIME RYDER angled across. Entering the bend he angled outwards being contacted in the hindquarters and raced widest thereafter. HIGHVIEW HOWARD (2) - angled outwards in the run to the bend and made good ground wide out in the run around the bend. Effort told in the run to the line. ENGINE ROOM (3) - racing from the start she was dictated inwards for some strides. Checked entering the bend as BIG TIME RYDER angled inwards pushing her onto the heels of EDDIE EVEREST. BIG TIME RYDER (5) - soon after the start he bumped with EDDIE EVEREST. He angled into the bend coming together with ENGINE ROOM becoming unbalanced for several strides losing ground. THRILLING RISK (8) - fav- angled across from the jump to the rail as they entered the bend. BIG TIME JUICY (9/4) - angled across from the jump dictating ENGINE ROOM inwards for some strides.
Race 3	J P Print, Petone Distance C1/C2 - C1/2d - 660	THRILLING AMELIA (2) - bumped and pushed sideways soon after the start as BRONSKI BEAT was tightened inwards as SPEED MACHINE angled across. Referred to the vet and has an abrasion pad to left hind. A 10 day stand down was recommended. SWEENEY TODD (3) - dwelt at the jump. In the run around the first turn he forced a run checking STAY CONNECTED to his outer. BRONSKI BEAT (5) - soon after the start he was tightened and checked across onto THRILLING AMELIA. STAY CONNECTED (8) - making ground around the first turn when checked and went back several lengths. He was hampered again entering the far bend as THRILLING AMELIA crossed to the rail.
Race 4	Greyhound As Pets C1 - C1 - 457	HIGHVIEW NESS was a late scratching. BIG TIME CHERRY (1) - attempted to angle outwards from the jump across the line of BIG TIME RIDGE who caught his hindquarters and was pushed sideways for a couple of strides. BIG TIME RIDGE (2) - checked soon after the start as BIG TIME CHERRY came out across his line. ADOBE TURTLE (3) - soon after the start he was tightened and forced back off heels as THRILLING VREA was pushed across his line. Referred to the vet and has pain over right triceps & left gracilis. A 14 day stand down was recommended. THRILLING VERA (4) - hampered for some strides soon after the start as ALLEGRO PIPPA angled across forcing him in onto ADOBE TURTLE. ALLEGRO PIPPA (6) - angled inwards from the jump forcing THRILLING VERA across onto ADOBE TURTLE THRILLING LENNOX (8) - FAV- angled across from the jump across the heels of GAZZA'S GIRL angling in onto THRILLING VERA becoming unbalanced losing ground back into the midfield. he only battled thereafter.
Race 5	Affordable Pet Accesories C1 - C1 - 410	OPAWA LYNDSAY (1) - hampered when tightened into the bend. held up and ran onto heels nearing the home turn clipping the heels of ZIPPING LUTHER as they straightened for the run to the line. IDOL REIGN (2) - began well raced handy went back through the field .Referred to the vet and has an abrasion to the left hind paw. A 10 day stand down was recommended. WAITING GAME (3) - led into the bend ran wide into the home straight. JACK MARJEN (4) - Referred to the vet wand has a torn medial right hind toe nail .A 10 day stand down was recommended. ZIPPING LUTHER (5) - racing from the start he angled in across heels forcing JACK MARGEN inwards. He settled in being the leaders and was clipped from behind nearing the home turn. As they straightened for the line the home turn he was galloped on from behind and faltered .He finished onto the lure and was referred to the vet and was found to have a dislocation of the right hind hock .He has been taken off track for x-rays. A 90 day stand down has been recommended with the dog having to complete an injury trial before being eligible to nominate in the future. ALLEGRO ZAC (6) - angled across from the jump tightening runners to his inner for a few strides. DEFER FIRE (7) - Fav- dwelt and was slow away .Raced wide into and around the bend effort told in the latter stages of the run to the line. BIG TIME HARRY (8) - raced wide into and around the bend into the home straight to the line.
