Auckland GRC 13th June 2021

1). Race 5 - Mr G Farrell, lodged a Notice of Objection following this event alleging BIG TIME KAYLEE was not entitled to be placed in the race on the grounds it was ineligible. After taking into account the submissions tendered by Mr Farrell along with the information provided to Stewards by Greyhound Racing New Zealand in regards to the entry of the BIG TIME KAYLEE in this event Stewards deemed the greyhound was entitled to be placed in the race. Mr Farrell subsequently exercised his right under GRNZ Rule 65.3 and applied to seek a review with the (then) JCA. At an adjudicative hearing held at Auckland on the 5th July 2021 it was decision of the Committee, after hearing evidence from Stewards, Greyhound Racing New Zealand’s Racing Manager Mr M Dore and witnesses that the Stewards decision, based on the information available to them on the day, was correct and the review was dismissed.

2). Race 9 - Mr P Green, lodged a Notice of Objection following this event alleging JILLIBY LITSA was not entitled to be placed in the race on the grounds it was ineligible. After taking into account the submissions tendered by Mr Green along with the information provided to Stewards by Greyhound Racing New Zealand in regards to the entry of the JILLIBY LITSA in this event Stewards deemed the greyhound was entitled to be placed in the race. Mr Green subsequently exercised his right under GRNZ Rule 65.3 and applied to seek a review with the (then) JCA. At an adjudicative hearing held at Auckland on the 5th July 2021 it was decision of the Committee, after hearing evidence from Stewards, Greyhound Racing New Zealand’s Racing Manager Mr M Dore and witnesses that the Stewards decision, based on the information available to them on the day, was correct and the review was dismissed.

Race 8	Affordable Pet Accessories Stakes - C1/2 - 457	OPAWA NIGEL (1) - contacted after the start and again back straight. DRAGSTER DORY (3) - tightened making contact for a distance after the start and throughout the back straight losing ground shifting out abruptly off heels entering the first turn. Attempted to shift wider rounding the bend making contact for a distance before shifting out across heels final bend to race very wide in the final straight. NANA MOLLY (4) - shifted in after the start making contact for a distance then tightened jostling for several strides. Contact first turn. BIG TIME KOBE (5) - shifted in jostling with NANA MOLLY back straight. Contacted for a distance rounding the bend becoming unbalanced entering the final straight.
