Race 1	Otago GRC Maiden Sprint - C0 - 310	HOMEBUSH RIVER (2) - shouldered with MISS MADRID initial stages. Contacted with IMPRESSIVE CHARM rounding the bend. MISS MADRID (6) - shouldered with both HOMEBUSH RIVER and IMPRESSIVE CHARM in the initial stages. Jostled with HOMEBUSH PEPPA entering the bend. IMPRESSIVE CHARM (7) - shouldered with MISS MADRID in the initial stages. Jostled with HOMEBUSH PEPPA entering the bend. Contacted with HOMEBUSH RIVER rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH PEPPA (8) - awkwardly placed between IMPRESSIVE CHARM and MISS MADRID entering the bend having to severely check. Was unable to continue thereafter due to the inability to place its right hind leg on the ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained an injury to its right knee with a 42 day incapacitation issued and x-rays recommended to which Stewards will follow up in the coming days. Must trial prior to resuming.
Race 2	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	IMPRESSIVE AMY (1) - slow early failing to play a competitive part in the race thereafter. Performance noted. DUSTY'S INK (2) - became awkward in its gait shortly after jumping losing ground with the field. Continued to lose ground thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn right gracilis with a 42 day incapacitation issued. Stood down to trial with trainer B Healey advising the greyhound would now be retired from racing. HOMEBUSH COMET (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. HOMEBUSH ZENA (8) - dictated wide exiting the bend. TOBY'S CHOICE (9/3) - placed in restricted room early stages being obligated to check outwards. Held up rounding the bend. Coursed wide exiting the bend forcing HOMEBUSH ZENA up the track.
Race 3	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Stakes - C0 - 545	BARBARA'S ANGEL (2) - weakened late in the run home. ADOBE JUNIOR (3) - shouldered briefly with ADOBE SLICE early stages. Checked off heels entering the first bend. ADOBE SLICE (4) - shouldered briefly with ADOBE JUNIOR early stages. Checked off heels entering the first bend. ADOBE FLAME (6) - raced on the hindquarters of IMPRESSIVE SONIC in the run to the bend checking off heels as a consequence. HOMEBUSH RANGER (7) - came up with the lid and was considerably slow to jump. IMPRESSIVE SONIC (8) - hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C1 - 310	CARLOS (1) - intentionally presented 3.4kgs down in weight. Hindquarters raced on early stages. Checked off heels entering the bend. Bumped with STIR FRY approaching the finish line. Referred to Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH YAZMIN (2) - slow early before colliding with STIR FRY being obligated to race on the hindquarters of CARLOS. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. STIR FRY (4) - collided with HOMEBUSH YAZMIN early stages. Jostled with MITCHAM GINNY for a period thereafter approaching the bend. Collided with HOMEBUSH JORDIE approaching the bend. Bumped with CARLOS approaching the finish line. MITCHAM GINNY (5) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH JORDIE early stages before jostled for a period with STIR FRY being obligated to check inwards off this greyhounds heels. Collided with BLAZING BANJO rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH JORDIE (6) - raced in restricted room early stages after shouldering with MITCHAM GINNY. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. IMPRESSIVE CHASE (7) - crowded the racing room of HOMEBUSH JORDIE early stages. BLAZING BANJO (8) - boxed first. Collided with MITCHAM GINNY rounding the bend.
Race 5	Peter Sinton Plumbing Sprint - C1 - 310	MITCHAM HAMISH (1) - crowded the racing line of MATERIAL MEG in the run to the bend. MATERIAL MEG (2) - placed in restricted room in the run to the bend. Turned inwards entering the bend. HOMEBUSH RAPPER (3) - collided with JUST STAGGER on jumping. Crowded the racing line of MATERIAL MEG in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. JUST STAGGER (4) - collided with HOMEBUSH RAPPER on jumping. BRUT MAGIC (5) - turned inwards when having its hindquarters raced on in the run to the bend. Checked outwards of heels entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence. DREAM STONE JADE (6) - hampered entering the bend. GRACIE LEE (7) - hindquarters raced on by HOMEBUSH RIEKO on jumping. HOMEBUSH RIEKO (8) - raced on the hindquarters of GRACIE LEE on jumping shifting down the track and racing on the hindquarters of BRUT MAGIC. Raced on the hindquarters of MATERIAL MEG entering the bend.
Race 6	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Sprint - C2 - 310	SOUTHERN ANGEL (4) - contacted from the outside early stages. Placed in restricted room in the run to the bend. Lost ground entering the bend. HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Hampered entering the bend. BYE BYE PUNTER (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages. C'MON BENNY BOY (8) - crowded the racing line of inside runners early stages continuing down the track before being awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend losing ground.
Race 7	Happy Birthday Brian Bagley Sprint - C3 - 310	HOMEBUSH LIAM (2) - stumbled out of boxes losing its footing and effectively its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. AMURI MAGIC (4) - jostled with REGAL JOCK approaching the bend and again rounding the bend. REGAL JOCK (5) - jostled with AMURI MAGIC approaching the bend and again rounding the bend.
Race 8	Racing Again Friday 11th June - C4/5 - 310	HONEY LANTREE (1) - crowded the racing room of SAM AND SI exiting the bend having its hindquarters climbed on and being obligated to shift up the track. SAM AND SI (2) - heels clipped in the run to the bend. Climbed on the heels of HONEY LANTREE exiting the bend when crowded for room. SOUTHERN KING (3) - jostled with OPAWA PHIL early stages before clipping the heels of SAM AND SI. CHASING FAME (4) - raced on the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH STASSER approaching the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing ground. OPAWA PHIL (5) - jostled with SOUTHERN KING early stages. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. Further checked rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH STASSER (6) - hindquarters raced on by CHASING FAME approaching the bend. OPAWA COOPER (7) - shouldered with MR FESTUS on jumping. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. MR FESTUS (8) - shouldered with OPAWA COOPER on jumping.
