EDISON (3) - collided with IMPRESSIVE SONIC early stages. IMPRESSIVE SONIC (4) - collided with EDISON early stages. SILKY SKYLAR (6) - checked from behind entering the bend. HOMEBUSH MAPLE (7) - coursed wide rounding the bend. Failed to be competitive thereafter. Stewards spoke with trainer regarding this greyhound's continued poor performances and advised a warning has been placed on the greyhound's record.
Race 2	Otago Early Quaddie Sprint - C1 - 310	MIKIL (1) - shouldered with COSMIC MARTY in the run to the bend. DOUBLE QUEENIE (2) - heels clipped from behind in the run to the bend. Crowded the racing room of COURSE YOU WOULD entering the bend before being terminally dragged down. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BOUND UP (3) - slow early stages. COURSE YOU WOULD (4) - shifted inwards off the heels of DOUBLE QUEENIE in the run to the bend. Crowded and obligated to race on the hindquarters of DOUBLE QUEENIE entering the bend losing its balance and forcing MITCHAM MANERING up the track. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. COSMIC MARTY (5) - shouldered with MIKIL in the run to the bend. MITCHAM MANERING (8) - checked and forced up the track entering the bend.
Race 3	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C1 - 310	BIG TINY (2) - checked and lost momentum entering the bend. STIR FRY (3) - began awkwardly. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. Shouldered with NIPPA ENOUGH prior to the finish line. BEAU VIEW WINNIE (6) - crowded for racing room early stages by HOMEBUSH FURY before racing on this greyhound hindquarters. HOMEBUSH FURY (7) - crowded BEAU VIEW WINNIE early stages before having this greyhound race on its hindquarters. Dictated wide exiting the bend. NIPPA ENOUGH (8) - shouldered with STIR FRY prior to the finish line. FATHER LEO (10/5) - raced wide exiting the bend forcing HOMEBUSH FURY up the track.
Race 4	Brocklebanks Dry Cleaners Stakes - C1 - 545	BALDRICK (2) - boxed first GOLDSTAR SHARON (4) - jostled with MISS CAIRO early stages placing DARK AND DUSTY in restricted room. Inconvenienced MISS CAIRO entering the first bend. SPEEDY LUCY (5) - slow early. DARK AND DUSTY (6) - squeezed for racing room early stages. MISS CAIRO (7) - jostled with GOLDSTAR SHARON early stages placing DARK AND DUSTY in restricted room. Inconvenienced entering the first bend losing momentum.
Race 5	St Clair Stakes - C1 - 310	AUTO SPEED (1) - crowded by IMPRESSIVE CHASE approaching the bend having to check and collide with HOMEBUSH POPPY. HOMEBUSH POPPY (4) - racing line impeded early stages. Contacted and lost ground approaching the bend. CRYSTAL CILLA (5) - racing line impeded early stages. Checked and bumped up the track entering the bend. Raced in restricted room exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH MACHO (6) - shifted down the track through the early stages impeding the racing line of inside greyhounds. Turned outwards when crowding the racing room of OPAL HUNTER rounding the bend. OPAL HUNTER (8) - placed in restricted room rounding the bend. Placed in restricted room rounding the bend being obligated to check off the the heels of HOMEBUSH MACHO. GOLDSTAR VALE (9/2) - raced in restricted room exiting the bend being obligated to check off heels.
Race 6	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C1 - 310	TAKE A HINT (3) - checked from behind entering the bend losing ground. AMURI LIV (4) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH MILLIE in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH MILLIE (5) - shouldered with AMURI LIV in the run to the bend. DANNY HA HA (6) - jostled briefly in the run to the bend with WHITMAN. GOLDSTAR ROYAL (7) - become unbalanced leaving the boxes losing ground. Awkwardly placed to the inside of TAKE A HINT entering the bend. Shifted off heels exiting the bend dictating WHITMAN up the track. WHITMAN (8) - jostled briefly with DANNY HA HA in the run to the bend. Dictated wide exiting the bend.
Race 7	OGRC Members Stakes - C1/2 - 545	NIGHTHAWK FRENZY (5) - shifted up the track in the run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (6) - contacted from the outside entering the first bend by GOLDSTAR ALASKA. GOLDSTAR ALASKA (8) - made the first bend awkwardly after making slight contact with GOLDSTAR DARWIN.
Race 8	Equinox Bar & Restaurant Sprint - C1 - 310	HOMEBUSH SUGAR (1) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT entering the bend. Hindquarters raced on through the early stages of the run home by HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT becoming unbalanced shifting up the track. CITIZEN ZAGREB (2) - checked and lost ground when awkwardly placed to the inside of BASHFUL BUFFY early stages. YANIRA BALE (3) - placed in restricted room early stages. AMURI SMOKE (5) - slow early. Hampered when racing to the outside of HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT in the early stages of the run home. HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (7) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH SUGAR entering the bend. Raced on the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH SUGAR in the early stages of the run home hampering AMURI SMOKE as a consequence. MATERIAL MEG (8) - slow early. Checked and lost ground prior to exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Dave Robbie Photographer Sprint - C2 - 310	FIREBALL FUDGE (1) - tightened by MITCHAM QUEEN into bend and ran outwards in consequence checking AMURI JOSIE and pushing CRYSTAL CINDI wider AMURI JOSIE (3) - checked by FIREBALL FUDGE into bend losing ground and pushing KNOW SMOKEY wide. CRYSTAL CINDI (4) - pushed wide into bend. KNOW SMOKEY (7) - pushed wide by AMURI JOSIE into bend losing ground. CASH NO STASH (8) - pushed wide into bend. MITCHAM QUEEN (9/2) - boxed first. Ran inwards into bend tightening FIREBALL FUDGE.
Race 10	Peter Sinton Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 310	JUST STAGGER (1) - checked by ELITE BLUEBLOOD final turn losing ground. HOMEBUSH BOMBER (3) - badly checked by outside runners into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. ELITE BLUEBLOOD (5) - ran outwards final turn checking JUST STAGGER. GOLDSTAR WILLA (6) - clear last on jumping. OPAWA STUBBORN (7) - ran inwards into bend checking inside runners. CUPID'S DAY (8) - hampered and pushed wide into bend losing momentum. NEXT OFF (9/4) - badly checked by OPAWA STUBBORN into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 11	Meeting # 8 Stakes - C2/3 - 545	KNOW ACCOUNT (1) - jostled with KNOW PRICE in the initial stages. SILOUETTE JET (2) - shouldered down the track on jumping becoming unbalanced. KNOW PRICE (3) - shouldered SILOUETTE JET down the track on jumping. Raced on the hindquarters of SILOUETTE JET early stages when crowded by KNOW GRIZZLES before jostling with KNOW ACCOUNT. Awkwardly placed between runners entering the first bend. Contacted from the outside by RUN RUN ROVER prior to exiting the bend becoming unbalanced and abruptly shifting up the track checking this greyhound. Turned its head outwards free of interference towards RUN RUN ROVER approaching the finish line. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for 3 months and pending a satisfactory trial for Failing to Pursue the Lure. KNOW GRIZZLES (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages when crowding KNOW PRICE. RUN RUN ROVER (5) - contacted KNOW PRICE prior to exiting the bend before being severely checked by this greyhound.
Race 12	President's Sprint - C2 - 310	CRYSTAL CANDY (2) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Obligated to check off heels exiting the bend. MITCHAM KING (3) - raced on the hindquarters of CRYSTAL CANDY early stages. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend climbing on the heels of MISS HONEY as a consequence. IYLAH JEWEL (4) - checked outwards off heels approaching the bend. HOMEBUSH RAPPER (5) - heels clipped by MISS HONEY entering the bend. MISS HONEY (7) - clipped the heels of HOMEBUSH RAPPER entering the bend before being checked from behind by MITCHAM KING. HOMEBUSH ZACK (8) - hampered entering the bend.
Race 13	St Kilda Sprint - C3 - 310	YOUNG ROMEO (2) - hindquarters raced on prior to the bend. REGAL VALIANT (3) - raced on the hindquarters of YOUNG ROMEO prior to the bend. REGAL JOCK (4) - jostled with CURVE CRUSHER approaching the bend. FOXY ROSE (5) - hindquarters raced on early stages losing its balance for a stride. AMURI BATMAN (6) - hampered early stages. TREV'S ROCKET (7) - shifted down the track through the initial stages contacting the hindquarters of FOXY ROSE.
Race 15	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Stakes - C4/5 - 545	OZZIE (1) - began awkwardly. PEARLS ARE US (2) - obliged to check off heels when being crowded by KNOW KEEPER entering the bend causing checks to trailing greyhounds. OSTER BALE (5) - obligated to check off heels when crowded by KNOW KEEPER in the run to the bend. Checked entering the first bend. LONGSHANKS (6) - hampered entering the first bend racing wide and dictating RIPSLINGER ROXY up the track. RIPSLINGER ROXY (7) - slow early. Dictated up the track entering the first bend.
Race 16	ANZAC Sprint - C4 - 310	AMURI MYSTIC (2) - crowded and lost ground entering the bend. Checked from behind entering the bend. MITCHAM RYDER (3) - crowded and had to check entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH BOOTS (4) - knuckled over on itself leaving the mats losing ground. Obligated to check off heels entering the bend.
Race 17	Forbury Dash - C5 - 310	HOMEBUSH GAMBLER (J McInerney) was a late scratching at kenneling when diagnosed with wrist pain. OPAWA OSCAR (1) - slow early. TUCKER (2) - shifted up track placing GOLDSTAR FLORA in restricted room prior to the bend. Checked off heels in the run home. GOLDSTAR FLORA (5) - placed in restricted room approaching bend HOMEBUSH CAESAR (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of GOLDSTAR FLORA entering bend losing ground
Race 18	Racing Again Friday 30th April - C5 - 310	ROMEO (3) - boxed first. Ran up the track early stages tightening NOVA RAPIDE. Made contact with the running rail entering the bend shifting outwards and checking MAFFRA DAISY as a consequence. Due to a communication error a Veterinary examination was not undertaken with Stewards to follow up the recovery of this greyhound in the coming days. NOVA RAPIDE (4) - tightened by ROMEO in the early stages losing ground. Contact by MITCHAM USAIN approaching bend. MAFFRA DAISY (5) - boxed first. Checked by ROMEO entering the bend falling to the track a consequence. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution. MITCHAM USAIN (7) - shifted ground inwards approaching the bend contacting NOVA RAPIDE. SUPER OVER DRAMA (8) - hampered by the falling ROMEO entering the bend racing wide as a consequence.
