Awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend before racing in a marginal gap exiting the bend forcing MITCHAM OCEAN up the track onto STIR FRY. OPAWA GRAVEL (2) - began awkwardly before shouldering briefly with SIR CLIVE. MITCHAM OCEAN (3) - forced outwards onto STIR FRY exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH YAZMIN (4) - slow to jump. STIR FRY (5) - forced down the track through the initial stages being obligated to check off heels. Hindquarters raced on approaching the bend. Turned outwards exiting the bend when placed to the outside of MITCHAM OCEAN. HOMEBUSH FURY (6) - shifted down the track through the initial stages forcing STIR FRY down the track. IMPRESSIVE CHASE (8) - raced on the hindquarters of STIR FRY approaching the bend.
Race 2	Otago Early Quaddie Sprint - C1 - 310	AMURI LIV (2) - shifted up the track in the run to the bend. IMPRESSIVE HIGH (3) - shouldered with MITCHAM DAWN in the run to the bend. MITCHAM DAWN (4) - shouldered with IMPRESSIVE HIGH in the run to the bend. Checked when awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend. DANNY HA HA (5) - jostled with MR MARCEL in the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Checked off heels rounding the bend. MR MARCEL (6) - jostled with DANNY HA HA in the run to the bend. Awkwardly positioned to the outside of HOMEBUSH ROXY entering the bend. HOMEBUSH ROXY (8) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground.
Race 3	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Stakes - C1 - 545	ADOBE NINJA (1) - climbed on the heels of MITCHAM MANERING entering the first bend. Placed in restricted room rounding the first bend. MITCHAM MANERING (2) - dragged down entering the first bend. Checked rounding the first bend losing ground. Continued to lose ground thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have bruising to a thigh. CLAWS IN LEO (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first turn. Jostled with MITCHAM MANERING rounding the first bend. KNOW DENYING (6) - slow early before shifting up the track.
Race 4	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C2/3 - 310	TIDAL TAPESTRY (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend having to check off heels. OPAWA STUBBORN (2) - shifted up the track through the initial stages before having its heels clipped by OUR DAZZEL and falling. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution. YOUNG ROMEO (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. Obligated to check off heels rounding the bend. OUR DAZZEL (4) - clipped heels of OPAWA STUBBORN early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend before clipping the heels of SOZIN'S EMPIRE. REGAL VALIANT (5) - hurdled the falling OPAWA STUBBORN in the initial stages losing ground. SILOUETTE JET (6) - coursed wide through the run home. SOZIN'S EMPIRE (7) - heels clipped rounding the bend. Weakened late in the run home.
Race 5	Equinox Bar & Restaurant Sprint - C2 - 310	HOMEBUSH MACHO (1) - tightened into bend and had heels clipped by HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT. HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (2) - contacted by KNOW HINDER back straight then checked inwards off heels of HOMEBUSH MACHO and hit the rail. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. KNOW HINDER (3) - last on jumping. Contacted HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT back straight then ran outwards into bend. PUNCH ON JESSIE (6) - boxed first. SPICE SPICE BABY (8) - ran wide final turn.
Race 6	Dave Robbie Photographer Stakes - C1/2 - 545	KNOW ACCOUNT (1) - obligated to shift off heels first bend. FOND OF YOU (4) - shifted off heels entering the first bend. NIGHTHAWK FRENZY (5) - referred to the Veterinarian after an incident at the lure where it was reported to be lame in its right elbow with a 14 day stand down imposed. OPAWA MASON (8) - slow early. Coursed wide first bend.
Race 7	South of Waitaki C1 Sprint - C1 - 310	MIKIL (3) - jostled with MATERIAL MEG approaching the bend. Hampered entering the bend losing momentum. MATERIAL MEG (5) - jostled with MIKIL approaching the bend. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing ground. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. YES BRO (6) - slow early. MY GIRL SOFIA (7) - crowded entering the bend being forced down onto MATERIAL MEG losing ground as a consequence.
Race 8	Peter Sinton Plumbing Sprint - C2 - 310	ROSE THORN (2) - shifted up the track in the run to the bend having its hindquarters raced on as a consequence. HOMEBUSH COMET (4) - slow early. KNOW RATIO (5) - obliged to race in restricted room early stages. Again placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground after making possible contact with the running rail. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MITCHAM QUEEN (6) - boxed first. Shifted down the track early stages becoming awkwardly placed between runners. HOMEBUSH BOMBER (10/3) - obligated to race on the hindquarters of ROSE THORN early stages before being placed in restricted room. Crowded entering the bend losing ground.
Race 9	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C2 - 310	CUPID'S DAY (1) - contacted by HOMEBUSH FAIRY into bend. SOZIN'S SYMPHONY (2) - faltered approaching the bend coursing wide. Continued to lose ground with the field thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was stood down for 21 days for a shoulder injury. HOMEBUSH FAIRY (3) - ran inwards into bend contacting CUPID'S DAY. MITCHAM HAMISH (4) - held up into bend then pushed wide losing ground. CRYSTAL CANDY (5) - checked outwards off heels early stages and contacted C'MON BENNY BOY falling as a consequence. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as a precaution. C'MON BENNY BOY (7) - ran inwards and contacted by CRYSTAL CANDY early stages. HOMEBUSH JEWEL (8) - raced wide home straight.
Race 10	Mark Thompson Memorial Dunedin Cup Final - C5f - 545	UTHOR BALE (4) - shouldered with LONGSHANKS early stages before jostling with this greyhound entering the first bend. MARVAHA BALE (6) - heavily contacted on jumping by KNOW KEEPER. RIPSLINGER ROXY (7) - hampered on jumping by KNOW KEEPER. KNOW KEEPER (8) - knuckled over on jumping resulting in its nose making contact with the mat. As a consequence to this the greyhound leaped inwards making contact with MARVAHA BALE losing considerable ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. LONGSHANKS (9/3) - shouldered with UTHOR BALE early stages before jostling with this runner entering the first bend. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the final bend.
Race 11	St Clair Dash - C5 - 310	OPAWA COOPER (2) - shouldered with MITCHAM USAIN rounding the bend losing momentum. OPAWA PHIL (4) - slow early. GARY (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. OAKMONT (6) - checked off heels in the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Checked outwards off heels entering the home straight obliging MITCHAM USAIN to check inwards. SAM AND SI (7) - checked from behind entering the bend. MITCHAM USAIN (9/3) - shouldered with OPAWA COOPER rounding the bend losing momentum. Checked inwards off heels entering the home straight. ROMEO (10/8) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed on the heels of SAM AND SI entering the bend losing ground.
Race 12	President's Sprint - C4 - 310	THUNDER HALLOWS (1) - crowded for racing room entering the bend losing ground. Hampered rounding the bend losing further ground. SOUFFLE SUE (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend being severely checked. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MR FESTUS (4) - checked from behind entering the bend losing ground. MITCHAM RYDER (6) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. TIGGERLONG DEMON (7) - slow early. Checked and forced wide entering the bend. TREV'S ROCKET (8) - raced on the hindquarters of MITCHAM RYDER early stages. Shifted inwards entering the bend colliding with MITCHAM RYDER. Became awkward in its gait thereafter losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a fractured hock.
Race 13	Racing Again Thursday 27th May - C1 - 310	IMPRESSIVE AMY (2) - shouldered with AMURI EARLY initial stages. AMURI EARLY (3) - shouldered with IMPRESSIVE AMY initial stages. Jostled with QUEENA BALE prior to exiting the bend. OPAWA DANI (5) - raced in restricted room approaching the bend becoming unbalanced. Lost ground when awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. MISS JANET (6) - lost ground when placed in tight quarters entering the bend after briefly jostling with COSMIC MARTY. COSMIC MARTY (7) - jostled with MISS JANET approaching the bend. Crowded entering the bend losing ground. QUEENA BALE (8) - tightened inside greyhounds entering the bend. Jostled with AMURI ERLY prior to exiting the bend.
