1). Trainer Mr H Bond has been fined $250 by the JCA after admitting he whelped a litter of greyhounds while not holding the appropriate Litter Masters Licence.

Race 3	Farmlands CopRice Series Heat 2 - C1q - 375 Heat 2	JUST NIA (1) - collided first turn becoming briefly unbalanced. ZIPPING PANTHER (2) - began awkwardly shifting out. SOVEREIGN ALICE (3) - slow away then inconvenienced. Collided first turn getting turned outwards into the line of other runners becoming unbalanced and falling. Regained footing to finish some distance from the field. Post race Veterinary examination revealed no abnormality with the precautionary 5 day stand down imposed. STAY RICH (4) - tightened and hampered first turn going over fallen runner shifting wider losing ground. WAITERIMU RIPPER (6) - slow away shifting in off heels. KNUCKLES NUGGET (7) - slow away then bumped. Hampered first turn going over fallen runner becoming unbalanced losing ground. Appeared uncomfortable in its action for a distance with a veterinary examination revealing pain in the right hamstring and a 7 day stand down imposed. OUR HOTROD (8) - slow away then bumped. Hampered first turn making solid contact shifting wider losing ground. Bumped several occasions rounding the bend. OPAWA ROY (9/5) - hampered for a distance first turn and forced wider losing ground. Bumped several occasions rounding the bend.
Race 4	Affordable Pet Accessories Sprint - C1/2 - 375	SILENCI (1) - raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the first bend making contact. MY SNUGGLES (2) - bumped start. MY MATE SPEIGHT (3) - bumped start. Raced in restricted room for a distance rounding the first bend making contact then shifted out across heels. Raced wide in the final straight. JUST OLIVE (4) - raced wide in the final straight. ASCOTT (6) - slow away then contacted. RAILING RACCOON (7) - hampered start becoming unbalanced shifting in onto ASCOTT losing ground. Shifted out after the start into the line of NANA MOLLY. Raced wide in the final straight. NANA MOLLY (8) - shifted in start making solid contact. Checked after the start shifting in across heels.
