Palmerston North GRC - 6 April 2021

1) Trainer L Cole re-presented ALLEGRO BRYAN after being stood down for Failing To Pursue per Rule 55.4 and was found to have 21 day injury with the Failing To Pursue endorsement being removed pursuant with Rule 55.5. ALLEGRO BRYAN is still required to complete a satisfactory trial.

Trials:

1) OPAWA BUD (M Flipp) completed a satisfactory trial wearing an outside blinker.

Race 1	WELCOME TO HATRICK C0 HT1 - C0q - 305 Heat 1	ZIPPING SCOOT (1) - racing from the boxes he angled outwards bumping into BIG TIME BENTLEY, he was then dictated inwards into the bend. Angled out off heels and raced wide into the home straight to the line. BIG TIME BENTLEY (3) - dwelt and was slow away, he was soon after bumped and pushed outwards then angled inwards into the bend forcing ZIPPING SCOOT inwards and came back off this runners heels racing onto the top bend. GOLDSTAR HARLOWE (6) - racing midfield on the inner across the top bend when forced to check off the hind of ENDLESS STYLE. Racing to the home bend she was forced to abruptly check out over heels losing momentum and ground. AHUROA LADY (8) - bumped and was pushed wide into the bend. Racing towards the home turn she was clipped from behind and unbalanced momentarily going in across the line of GOLDSTAR HADLOW.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C0 Ht2 - C0q - 305 Heat 2	LOUDRED (1) - soon after the start he was bumped and jostled losing some momentum and ground racing into the bend. ALLEGRO JORDAN (2) - dwelt slightly at the jump. Soon after he was jostled and tightened going back off heels. Racing into the bend he was forced to abruptly check off heels and ran out wide across the line of HARDCORE LISA and GOTCHA MAX where he lost ground GOTCHA MAX (3) - bumped and unbalanced for a stride or so coming off the mats as he angled outwards, was then tightened back from between runners and jostled for some strides then checked losing momentum racing into the bend. HARDCORE LISA (4) - bumped racing off the mats then tightened and jostled going back from between runners, severely checked and stumbled racing into the bend losing all chance from there on. Assessed by the vet and found to have a minor laceration to top of toe right hind. BLUEY (5) - checked soon after the start ,angled inwards into the bend
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C0 - C0 - 520	BIG TIME ADISON (2) - soon after the start contact in the hind quarters when moving ground outwards. Angled inwards entering the first turn checking runners following runners. Tightened and checked racing into the far bend losing ground. BIG TIME SCOOTER (6) - checked out over heels entering the first turn as BIG TIME ADISON took his line. BIG TIME BERT (8) - angled across from the jump running into the hind of BIG TIME ADISON and checking. Was hampered entering the first turn as BIG TIME ADISON angled inwards, soon after was checked as BIG TIME SCOOTER angled outwards over heels.
Race 4	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	BIG TIME ARI (1) - hampered racing off the mats as AHUROA PRINCESS went in across her hind. racing into the bend she was bumped and jostled and pushed across tightening AHUROA PRINCESS. AHUROA PRINCESS (2) - jumped inwards onto the hind of BIG TIME ARI racing off the mats. Tightened into the bend contacting the rail and lost some ground. AHUROA PRINCESS was sent for a vet check, due to a communication error this was not completed and the stewards will contact Trainer R Murray in the coming days. ALAMEIN SAM (3) - racing from the start he was jostled and tightened in on to heels as SIDELINE SALLY angled inwards for some strides causing him to be checked back to the rear. SIDELINE SALLY (4) - racing from the start she angled across jostling and tightening runners to her inner for some strides. HYPOTHETICAL (6) - raced wide into the bend dictating GOTCHA POPEYE wider . GOTCHA POPEYE (7) - dictated wide into the bend coming back off heels soon after losing momentum and ground.
Race 5	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	DINO THE FOX was a late scratching at kenneling on vets advice. GOTCHA MARSHALL (1) - slow into stride. made good ground up along the inner into the bend. ALLEGRO SMOOCH (2) - began awkwardly for a couple of strides, soon after she was crowded between runners for some strides racing into the bend. HOMEBUSH YURI (3) - racing from the start she angled outwards catching heels losing ground as they raced into the bend. MOTHER'S TOUCH (5) - bumped and jostled for some strides in the run towards the bend, she was further hampered racing into the bend as BIGTIME STELLA angled across runners. SO SEVERE (6) - soon after the start he was tightened between runners for some strides and forced back onto heels as they raced into the bend . BIGTIME STELLA (7) - soon after the start she started angling across causing tightening and checks to runners to her inner in the run to the bend causing herself to be jostled and pushed widest into the bend.
Race 6	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C1 - C1 - 305	This race was delayed by 6 minutes due to a minor repair to the wire lure rope. HARDCORE KYLIE (2) - tighened and checked back onto PUNCH ON SCOOBY racing into the bend and lost ground back towards the rear . TRUE TESTAMENT (3) - dwelt at the jump. improved into tight quarters and was jostled racing into the bend coming back off the heels of KIOSK. ALLEGRO MOSES (4) - angled across from the jump the straightened to angled into the bend and was hampered as YARN SISTER angled inwards across his line and was unable to clear her heels in the across the top bend. KIOSK (5) - angled across from the jump then angled outwards onto HOBSON and was tightened and jostled as HOMEBUSH JOZIE angled across causing tightening, soon after he angled inwards into the bend causing severe tightening to several runenrs to his inner. PUNCH ON SCOOBY (10/1) - racing in the midfield on the inner when severely tightened and checked back losing ground racing into the bend.
Race 7	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	The official start time was put back 2 minutes at the request of Raceday Control. TELLTALE SIGNS (1) - hampered into the bend as SPOOK angled across making making contact. She was forced to check back off heels racing across the top bend as runner tightened ahead. BIG TIME QUINN (2) - soon after the start she was contacted slightly and went inwards. HARDCORE BRUTE (3) - checked soon after the start as PARADOX PRINCE angled across his line causing him to check and lose ground. Forced to abruptly check out off heels and ran wide onto the top bend becoming unbalanced and lost ground. Assessed by the vet and cleared of injury. SPOOK (4) - dwelt at the jump was then hampered and dictated inwards and checked as PARADOX PRINCE angled across. He angled outwards coming together with HOMEBUSH LUTHER and jostled, further hampered when angling across onto TELLTALE SIGNS racing into the bend. PARADOX PRINCE (5) - went up in the boxes as the lids lifted, he then angled inwards causing tightening and checks to runners to his inner for several strides. HOMEBUSH LUTHER (8) - bumped and jostled with SPOOK for a few strides in the run to the bend.
Race 8	HAPPY BIRTHDAY MARK BEESON C1 - C1 - 305	THREE OF HEARTS (3) - began awkwardly for a stride ,soon after angled out between runners and was hampered racing into the bend as JINJA LAD angled inwards momenterily. TESTING TIME (4) - began awkwardly and was last into stride. JOHNY MOWHAWK (5) - went outwards from the jump dictating JINJA LAD outwards onto ZIPPING LUTHER. ZIPPING LUTHER (7) - tightened between runners racing off the mats and was unbalanced settling back in the running. YESENIA (8) - bumped racing off the mats angled across into the bend across the line of JINJA LAD causing this runner to check. JINJA LAD (9/6) - contact and went outwards tightening ZIPPING LUTHER racing off the mats. Looked to angle inwards into the bend and was forced to check back off the heels of YESENIA.
