Judicial report: A selection of greyhounds completing training trials prior to the start of the meeting were subjected to Out of Competition testing.

Satisfactory Trials:

GOLDSTAR LORENZO, GOLDSTAR SIVO and GOLDSTAR ROYAL (R Evans) - all completed satisfactory trials as required.

Late Scratchings:

1). MISS ADOBE (D Roberts) - at kenneling when found to be in season.

Jostled with JOYFUL TEARS for a period thereafter placing this runner in restricted room. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. JOYFUL TEARS (3) - contacted from the inside by MIGHTY McCOOK on jumping shifting up the track as a consequence. Jostled with this runner for a period thereafter before being placed in restricted room and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CULVIE PUB (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages by MIGHTY McCOOK being turned outwards as a consequence. Shouldered briefly with HOMEBUSH ZENA approaching the bend. Coursed wide exiting the bend SPRING JUDY (6) - shouldered with JOYFUL TEARS early stages being bumped up the track as a consequence. Lost momentum when positioned on the heels of EDISON entering the bend. HOMEBUSH ZENA (7) - shouldered briefly with CULVIE PUB approaching the bend before becoming awkwardly placed to the outside of this runner losing ground. EDISON (8) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend.
Race 2	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Stakes - C0 - 520	HOMEBUSH BRAVE (3) - placed in restricted room rounding the first bend. CAPTAIN TIM (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages by LUCKY LUCIANO. LUCKY LUCIANO (5) - came up with the lid. Dictated down the track by OPAWA NEVILLE and onto the hindquarters of CAPTAIN TIM early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend having to check outwards and course wide. OPAWA NEVILLE (6) - forced LUCKY LUCIANO down the track early stages. Crowded approaching the first bend having to shift off heels before being checked from behind by LUCKY LUCIANO. EPIC MERLOT (7) - crowded OPAWA NEVILLE approaching the first bend. Lost momentum when placed on heels entering the first bend before being dragged down. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a slight gracilis strain.
Race 3	Casswoods For Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C2 - 295	MISS ADOBE(7) - was a late scratching. BLAZING BANJO (2) - boxed first. JACKIE (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. OPAWA STUBBORN (4) - jostled with HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT throughout the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. KNOW FAREWELL (5) - shouldered briefly with MITCHAM IVAN early stages before being obligated to race on heels and having to check. MITCHAM IVAN (6) - shouldered briefly with KNOW FAREWELL early stages. Crowded inside greyhounds entering the bend. HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (8) - jostled with OPAWA STUBBORN throughout the run to the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C2 - 295	OPAWA PINK (1) - boxed first. Shifted up the track early stages making contact with the hind quarters of OPAL NORA. Continued to shift up the track colliding with OPA'S DREAM approaching the bend and losing ground as a consequence. OPAL NORA (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. NIPPA ENOUGH (6) - had to check when placed in restricted room entering the bend. OPA'S DREAM (7) - contacted from the inside by OPAWA PINK approaching the bend. SEA SPRAY ASH (8) - boxed first. Crowded the racing room of NIPPA ENOUGH entering the bend.
Race 5	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph.0272719588 Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR SHARON (1) - slow early. Shifted ground outwards entering the first bend dictating BALDRICK and OPAWA MASON up the track. Held up final bend. Hindquarters brushed entering home straight. REPLICA RANGO (4) - raced on the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR SHARON entering the home straight. GOLDSTAR BEAU (5) - placed in tight quarters entering the first bend. BALDRICK (7) - boxed first. Dictated wide entering the first bend. OPAWA MASON (8) - dictated wide entering the first bend.
Race 6	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Dash - C2 - 295	LAUTREC (2) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend. OPA'S MATE (3) - raced in tight quarters rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH FANTA (4) - collided with GOING GORILLAS early stages when shifting up the track. Continued up the track to then collide with REBEL BOOM. GOING GORILLAS (5) - collided with HOMEBUSH FANTA early stages before being placed in restricted room losing ground. GOLDSTAR SLATER (6) - slow early. Placed in restricted room and had to check entering the bend. REBEL BOOM (7) - collided with HOMEBUSH FANTA early stages. AMURI LIV (8) - crowded inside greyhounds entering the bend.
Race 7	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C1 - 520	DUBLIN EXPRESS (2) - hampered in the run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR DEVON (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Inconvenienced first bend. JINJA TONI (6) - jostled with HOMEBUSH FURY early stages before being dictated down onto the hindquarters of GOLDSTAR DEVON. MR MARCEL (7) - slow to jump. Checked off heels first bend causing an inconvenience to GOLDSTAR DEVON and HOMEBUSH FURY. HOMEBUSH FURY (8) - jostled with JINJA TONI early stages. Obligated to check off heels approaching the first bend. Inconvenienced first bend.
Race 8	Clarkson Sign Studio Sprint - C2 - 295	MINE HUNTER (1) - collided with HOMEBUSH ARCHIE in the run to the bend. Checked from the outside entering the bend shifting up the track as a consequence. HOMEBUSH ARCHIE (3) - began awkwardly. Collided with MINE HUNTER in the run to the bend. PRINCELY CASH (4) - began awkwardly losing ground. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (5) - hampered from the outside approaching the bend. MITCHAM HAMISH (6) - squeezed for racing room approaching the bend after being shouldered by DYNA TREVOR losing ground. Lost further ground when awkwardly positioned to the outside of MINE HUNTER entering the bend. DYNA TREVOR (7) - shouldered MITCHAM HAMISH approaching the bend. Checked and lost ground entering the bend.
Race 9	Camside Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 520	ZIPPING MARLIN (1) - crowded in the run to the first bend. GRITTY (2) - checked entering the first bend. Checked off heels rounding the first bend colliding with IT'S A BLAZE. IT'S A BLAZE (3) - checked rounding the first bend and lost ground when racing to the inside of GRITTY. CLAWS IN LEO (5) - began awkwardly settling last. OPAWA SANDRIDGE (7) - slow to jump.
Race 10	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	HOMEBUSH MACHO (2) - checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend after sustaining contact from the outside by TIGGERLONG PAT. TIGGERLONG PAT (3) - contacted HOMEBUSH MACHO forcing this greyhound across heels in the run to the bend. Turned inwards after having its hindquarters contacted by PUNTER'S LAST entering the bend. OPA'S JOY (6) - shouldered briefly with PUNTER'S LAST early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. PUNTERS LAST (7) - shouldered briefly with OPA'S JOY early stages. Lost ground when racing on the hindquarters of TIGGERLONG PAT entering the bend. Brushed the running rail shortly afterwards losing further ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KNOW CHARISMA (9/1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and lost ground. Checked off heels rounding the bend.
Race 11	Springston Hotel Distance - C0d - 645	MULL OF KINTYRE (4) - shifted up the track early stages crowding outside greyhounds. NIGHTHAWK THORN (6) - awkward off the mats shifting into the path of PRINCESS ROMAINE. Placed this runner in restricted room shortly afterwards after being crowded by MULL OF KINTYRE being bumped down the track as a consequence. PRINCESS ROMAINE (7) - hampered on jumping after NIGHTHAWK THORN sifted up the track. Jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH FUDGE early stages before losing ground when placed in tight quarters and checking off heels. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (8) - jostled briefly with PRINCESS ROMAINE early stages.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C3 - 295	YOEL BALE (1) - faltered in its gait in the run to the bend losing ground. Continued to gallop awkwardly thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have wrist soreness. PENNY JANE (2) - shifted up the track in the run to the bend having its heels clipped as a consequence. SPECIAL AS (3) - clipped the heels of PENNY JANE in the run to the bend. AMURI BATMAN (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Obligated to check inwards off heels in the run to the bend. CREME BRULEE (5) - shouldered with EZRA BLUEBLOOD early stages placing this runner in restricted room. Dictated down the track soon afterwards onto the hindquarters of AMURI BATMAN. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (6) - awkwardly placed between runners early stages before being obligated to checked off heels. BUTTON IT (7) - crowded EZRA BLUEBLOOD early stages continuing down the track.
