| Race 1 | The Fitz Sports Bar Sprint - C3 - 295 | OPAWA ROWDY (1) - contacted from the outside early stages. MULBERRY SOX (3) - boxed first. Considerably slow early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. OPAWA DAN (4) - placed in restricted room early stages having to check and lose ground. PRINCE ZULU (5) - shouldered with STARR BLUEBLOOD early stages shifting down the track placing OPAWA DAN in restricted room. Coursed wide throughout the run home. Fell heavily to the track at the lure. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a suspected fractured Radius/Ulna. Was stabilised and administered painkillers to be transported to the local Veterinary clinic for x-rays and further assessment. This confirmed the original diagnosis with the greyhound to under go surgery at the earliest opportunity. STARR BLUEBLOOD (6) - contacted from the outside early stages by FIREBALL FUDGE shifting down the track and shouldering with PRINCE ZULU as a consequence. Checked and lost momentum rounding the bend. FIREBALL FUDGE (7) - collided with STARR BLUEBLOOD early stages. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (9/2) - hampered from the outside early stages making contact with OPAWA ROWDY as a consequence. |
| Race 2 | kiwikiwihounds.co.nz Adoption Sprint - C4 - 295 | HOMEBUSH GAMBLER (3) - jostled with TIGGERLONG DEMON in the run to the bend before losing ground when obligated to hurdle the falling MUSTANG MEGAN. Checked off heels exiting the bend. TIGGERLONG DEMON (4) - crowded for room early stages having to check off heels. Jostled with HOMEBUSH GAMBLER in the run to the bend. SPECIAL AS (5) - forced down onto TIGGERLONG DEMON early stages. MUSTANG MEGAN (6) - came down the track early stages forcing SPECIAL AS onto TIGGERLONG DEMON. Placed in restricted room in the run to the bend before falling to the track entering the bend. Subjected to a Veterinary examination and cleared of injury. Stood down as a precaution for 5 days. HOMEBUSH STASSER (7) - checked inwards off heels rounding the bend hampering the running line of HENDRIX BALE. HENDRIX BALE (8) - hampered rounding the bend having to check off heels. |

SPICE SPICE BABY (7) - coursed wide exiting the bend and throughout the run home. OPAWA COOPER (8) - checked rounding the bend losing momentum. |

Awkwardly positioned to the outside of runners entering the bend being climbed on from behind as a consequence and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CULVIE NESS (5) - checked from the inside by in the run to the bend hampering KNOCKA KNOW HOW. Hampered rounding the bend racing wide KNOCKA KNOW HOW (6) - hampered in the run to the bend. ADOBE BRO (4) - shouldered with TROUBLESOME KEV in the run to the first bend. TROUBLESOME KEV (5) - crowded for racing room early stages before shouldering with ADOBE BRO. HUMBLING (6) - bumped with OPAWA RAINBOW in the run to the first bend. Placed in restricted room entering the back straight having to check abruptly causing subsequent checks to PENALTY DROP, OPAWA RAINBOW and BELLA FORTUNA. OPAWA RAINBOW (7) - crowded from the outside in the run to the first bend being awkwardly placed to the outside of HUMBLING losing balance for a stride as a consequence.
