Trainer J McInerney made application to have CRYSTAL CANDY, CITIZEN ZAGREB and SILKY SKYLAR represented to determine whether these greyhounds were, at the time, not In Season. This examination found all bitches to be not In Season with the restrictions imposed being removed.

Race 2	Happy Birthday Warren (Noddy) Smith Dash - C1 - 295	KNOW BEAST (1) - awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend having to steady. KING KONG BLONDE (3) - jostled with HOMEBUSH JORDIE early stages becoming unbalanced for several strides as a consequence. HOMEBUSH JORDIE (4) - jostled with KING KONG BLONDE early stages before becoming placed in restricted room and having to check. Climbed on heels exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. TAKE A HINT (6) - became awkwardly placed to the outside of TONKAWA entering the bend losing ground. Checked from behind exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 3	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA LYNDSAY (1) - hampered briefly by OPAWA OLIVER when leaving the matts. OPAWA OLIVER (2) - lost ground after being awkwardly positioned to the outside of OPAWA LYNDSAY leaving the matts. KNOW EGO (5) - crowded and was obligated to shift ground entering the first bend. ZIPPING MARLIN (6) - shifted ground off heels in the run to the first bend. HOMEBUSH BARCLAY (7) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with kennel representative J McInerney Jnr reporting it was of his opinion the greyhound benefited from obtaining a soft lead throughout the running.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520	OPAWA MASON (3) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend losing ground.
Race 5	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 295	OPAL HUNTER (1) - shifted up the track entering the bend forcing BOUND UP out onto the heels of GOLDSTAR WILLA. BILLY BUDD (2) - slow early. BOUND UP (4) - forced onto the heels of GOLDSTAR WILLA entering the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down as a precaution for 5 days. GOLDSTAR WILLA (6) - climbed on from behind entering the bend losing ground. JINGILI JILL (7) - slow early. Checked by falling runner entering the bend.
Race 6	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	GRACIE LEE (1) - jostled with KNOW KERATIC in the run to the bend. Lost ground entering the bend shifting up the track and hampering OPAWA PINK and ROSIES CHOICE. HOMEBUSH MILLIE (2) - placed in restricted room in the run to the bend. KNOW KERATIC (3) - jostled with GRACIE LEE in the run to the bend. Shifted off heels rounding the bend. OPAWA PINK (5) - boxed first. Obliged to check outwards off heels early stages. Checked entering the bend. ROSIES CHOICE (7) - checked entering the bend.
Race 7	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C1 - 520	NIGHTHAWK FANCY (2) - off heels first turn. MR MARCEL (3) - checked after jumping by outside runners. SMOOTHIE (4) - ran out on jumping contacting outside runner becoming unbalanced. Contacted into first turn by outside runner. ADOBE NINJA (5) - hampered between runners on jumping. OPAWA ROD (6) - ran inwards on jumping contacting inside runners. Wide back straight. Turned its head outwards rounding the final bend towards SPRING ARMOUR making muzzle contact with this runners head. Stood down for Marring HOMEBUSH FURY (7) - bumped first turn by inside runner shifting out. SPRING ARMOUR (8) - shifted inwards home turn contacting inside runner. OHOKA KATE (10/1) - wide back straight.
Race 8	Springston Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	TWO BE FRANK (3) - collided with FATHER LEO in the run to the bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR VALE (4) - slow early stages. FATHER LEO (5) - collided with TWO BE FRANK in the run to the bend losing ground.
Race 9	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C2 - 520	MY CURLY (2) - began awkwardly. KNOW ACCOUNT (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages and obliged to check off heels. Again squeezed for racing room entering the first bend having to check. OPAWA HARPER (6) - awkwardly positioned to the inside of KNOW GRIZZLES in the run to the first bend. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (7) - slow early stages.
Race 10	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Dash - C2 - 295	DELAROCHE (3) - hindquarters raced on early stages. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend. MITCHAM HAMISH (4) - raced on the hindquarters of DELAROCHE early stages. Placed in restricted room rounding the bend being unable to improve. HOMEBUSH POPPY (5) - jostled with MEMOIR in the run to the bend. TREMONTI (6) - contacted and forced down the track early stages. Crowded MITCHAM HAMISH rounding the bend. PUNCH ON JESSIE (7) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed to the outside of DELAROCHE entering the bend. MEMOIR (8) - collided with TREMONTI early stages before jostling with HOMEBUSH POPPY.
Race 11	Beach Cafe & Wine Bar Sprint - C2 - 295	CANYA MONEYMAKER (1) - jostled briefly with GHOST MODE on jumping. Awkwardly placed for a stride entering the bend. GHOST MODE (2) - jostled briefly with CANYA MONEYMAKER on jumping then OPAWA NIP early stages. Squeezed and lost ground rounding the bend. OPAWA NIP (3) - jostled briefly with GHOST MODE early stages. Hampered when placed on heels rounding the bend. JUST STAGGER (5) - awkward away losing ground. Hindquarters raced on exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (7) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH COMET (9/4) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. Raced on the hindquarters of JUST STAGGER exiting the bend.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C2 - 295	PUNTERS BOLT (3) - contacted early stages by MISS JUNE. Lost ground when placed in tight quarters entering the bend. MISS JUNE (4) - began awkwardly colliding with PUNTERS BOLT. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend checking outwards forcing M'LADY SADIE up the track. HEAR THIS (5) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend. M'LADY SADIE (7) - slow early stages. Forced wide entering the bend.
