Christchurch GRC - 4th February 2021:

1). Stewards spoke with Trainer C Weir regarding his Non catching of the greyhound LA ROCHELLE (J Dunn) at the above meeting. It was established that due to a communication error he was not aware he had been engaged to catch the greyhound and as such the matter was taken no further other to remind Mr Dunn that communications when arranging catchers need to be confirmed in future.

Otago GRC - 4 February 2021:

WHITMAN (J McInerney) which was stood down at Otago yesterday was represented to the Vet and found to be free of injury with the stand down rescinded.

Satisfactory Trials:

MY BRO'S ETHICS (J Dunn), IT'S A BLAZE (J & D Fahey), GOLDSTAR LOVIE and GOLDSTAR JOURNEY (R Evans) all completed Satisfactory Trials as required.

Endorsement:

TIGGERLONG DEMON has completed 10 clear runs since being stood down with this endorsement Cancelled.

JINGILI JILL (2) - tightened into bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (3) - ran inwards on bend tightening NIPPA ENOUGH. HOMEBUSH JORDIE (4) - checked on bend losing chance. GOLDSTAR DAWSON (6) - terminally checked by inside runners on bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. BUTTON IT (7) - tightened by EDGE OF REASON on bend and checked outwards in consequence. EDGE OF REASON (8) - ran inwards on bend tightening BUTTON IT.
Race 3	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C2 - 295	DREAM RUNNER (1) - ran wide final turn. OPAL NORA (5) - checked into bend as GOLDSTAR REBEL improved to its inside. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR REBEL (7) - brushed by KHATIA early stages. Contacted OPAL NORA into bend. SPICE SPICE BABY (8) - raced wide final turn. KHATIA (9/6) - ran outwards early stages brushing GOLDSTAR REBEL. Dropped out home straight. Assessed by vet and found to have whip muscle soreness.
Race 4	Casswoods For Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C3 - 295	LISA'S BOY (1) - faltered free of interference home turn. Assessed by vet and found to have suffered a fractured hock. Trainer R Casey advised that the dog would now be retired from racing. HORSE RANGE (2) - raced wide final turn. HONEY LANTREE (3) - collided with TREMONTI early stages dropping to rear. TREMONTI (4) - pushed outwards by HONEY LANTREE early stages. SPECIAL AS (5) - pushed outwards final turn. NOVA RAPIDE (6) - contacted by CARLOS early stages. CARLOS (7) - ran inwards early stages contacting NOVA RAPIDE.

Jostled with CRYSTAL CILLA final turn. OPAWA DAN (4) - ran outwards into bend hampering CRYSTAL CILLA. FIDGETY FEET (6) - slow to jump. Pushed wide into bend. CRYSTAL CILLA (8) - hampered into bend by OPAWA DAN as that runner shifted outwards. Jostled with GOLDSTAR MAUNEY final turn and pushed wide.

GOLDSTAR DARWIN (7) - slow to jump. Contacted by STUMPY BILL in run to first bend. DYNA XARVEL (8) - hampered by inside runners in run to first bend. KNOW ACCOUNT (9/3) - slow to jump then checked inwards off the heels of RUN RUN ROVER.

YES YES NO (8) - ran inwards early stages contacting MR KUMAR.
