Palmerston North GRC - 25 January 2021

1). BIGTIME CHASE (L Cole) - Stewards followed up the recovery of this greyhound after it inadvertently failed to undergo a Veterinary examination after contacting the running rail. It has been reported the greyhound has has taken no ill effects from this.

2). BIGTIME JIMMY (L Cole) - kennel representatives have reported that this greyhound has been found to have sprained a hock during its engagement at this meeting.

Satisfactory Trials:

1). BIGTIME EMMI & GO BRO (L Cole) - completed satisfactory trials and are now eligible to be nominated to race.

2). OPAWA BUD (N Udy) - completed a satisfactory trial and is now eligible to be nominated to race.

Stand Downs:

1). CODY KNOW (L Cole) - stood down for Marring in Race 4.

BIG TIME MELODY (4) - collided with ENGINE ROOM early stages. Jostled with this greyhound for a brief period in the run to the bend. Dragged down entering the bend losing ground. Checked and lost further ground rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME WOLFIE (5) - hampered entering the bend. Raced on the hindquarters of TIGER CHURN exiting the bend. BIG TIME ALBIE (6) - collided with BIG TIME GREER on jumping. Crowded the racing room of BIG TIME GREER entering the bend before climbing on the heels of this greyhound. BIG TIME GREER (7) - collided with BIG TIME ALBIE on jumping. Crowded when entering the bend before being dragged down losing ground. Slightly checked rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. TIGER CHURN (8) - turned outwards when having its hindquarters contacted by BIG TIME WOLFIE exiting the bend.

BIG TIME GIGI (3) - shouldered with ALLEGO MOSES on jumping bumping with MIMI as a consequence. Jostled with ALLEGRO MOSES in the run to the bend. ALLEGRO MOSES (4) - shouldered with BIG TIME GIGI on jumping. Jostled with this runner in the run to the bend. HARDCORE BRUTE (5) - awkwardly placed to the inside of ALLEGRO RUBY entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence. STRIKE IT RICH (7) - inconvenienced entering the bend being obligated to course wide. ALLEGRO RUBY (8) - Clipped the heels of KINA MAGIC entering the bend. Before being obligated to course wide by HARDCORE BUTE. KINA MAGIC (9/1) - slow early before coursing wide through to the bend. Had heels clipped entering the bend.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	IDOL REIGN (1) - shouldered with TESTING TIME early stages. Crowded for racing room entering the bend losing ground and causing an inconvenience to TESTING TIME. Raced on the hindquarters of BIG TIME ARI exiting the bend before checking outwards off this runners heels. TESTING TIME (2) - shouldered with IDOL REIGN early stages. Inconvenienced entering the bend losing ground. BIG TIME DIOR (3) - dragged down entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Coursed wide through the run home. ADOBE BROOKE (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Clipped the heels of BIG TIME HELENA entering the bend. BIG TIME ARI (5) - hindquarters raced on exiting the bend. ALLEGRO BRANDON (6) - climbed on the heels of BIG TIME DIOR entering the bend. BIG TIME HELENA (8) - slow through the initial stages. Checked from behind entering the bend.

Turned her head inwards upon entering the final straight so as to make head contact with ALLEGRO GEMMA. Stood down for Marring. ALLEGRO GEMMA (2) - collided with DERRY BLUES early stages. Checked in off heels early stages. Marred from the outside by CODY KNOW entering the final straight. DERRY BLUES (3) - collided with ALLEGRO GEMMA early stages. BIG TIME CHASE (4) - slow early. Race 5	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C2 - C2 - 305	BIG TIME QUEEN (1) - crowded for racing room entering the bend having to check and lose ground. HOMEBUSH JOZIE (3) - shifted up the track early stages crowding IDOL STEFFIE. IDOL STEFFIE (4) - crowded for racing room early stages after jostling with WIFI SAPPHIRE. Referred to the Veterinarian after taking a fall at the lure and cleared of injury. WIFI SAPPHIRE (5) - jostled with IDOL STEFFIE early stages before coursing wide dictating POPPY ROCKET up the track. POPPY ROCKET (6) - dictated up the track in the run to the bend. BIG TIME TATUM (7) - came up with the lid and was slow away as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian at the request of co-trainer K Williams where it was reported to have pain and swelling of the right sartorius muscle.
Race 6	FIRST SECURITY C2 - C2 - 305	ELITE BUBBLE (1) - shouldered with CHOICE SISTER early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CHOICE SISTER (2) - collided with CLIFF TOP ROSIE on jumping before shouldering with ELITE BUBBLE. Crowded for racing room entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian at the request of trainer C Morris and cleared of injury. CLIFF TOP ROSIE (3) - collided with CHOICE SISTER on jumping. ELSA BLUEBLOOD (6) - hampered entering the bend.
