Reviews:

1). FUNZALO (W Hodgson) - The J.C.A received a Review lodged by Mr W Hodgson against a decision handed down by the Racing Integrity Unit Stewards at Wanganui GRC's meeting on the 30th December 2020. The Stewards determined, under the provisions of Greyhound Racing New Zealand's Rule 55.1.b, that his greyhound ‘FUNZALO’ had failed to pursue the lure and was subsequently suspended for 3 months and ordered to undergo a satisfactory trial prior to being nominated for any further races. At the hearing held today at Hatrick raceway the J.C.A, having viewed the replay vision and taking into account evidence tendered by Stewards and Mr Hodgson, found that it was correct for the Stewards to form the opinion that the greyhound 'FUNZALO' had failed to pursue the lure and the review was dismissed.

ARM TURNER (8) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing momentum.
Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C1/2 - C1/2 - 520	BIGTIME ARCHIE (2) - raced in tight quarters rounding the final bend when attempting a marginal gap hampering SUPER REX as a consequence. SUPER REX (5) - hampered rounding the final bend.
Race 3	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2 - C2 - 305	CHECKPOINT (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. LIGHT CRUISER (2) - began awkwardly. HYPOTHETICAL (7) - dragged down entering the bend coursing wide as a consequence and losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. IDOL STEFFIE (8) - climbed on the heels of HYPOTHETICAL entering the bend being forced to course wide as a consequence and lose ground.
Race 4	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C3 - C3 - 520	BIG TIME TRAE (2) - placed in tight quarters entering the first bend losing momentum. COSSIE COOPER (4) - shouldered with BIG TIME ROONIE early stages. Checked off heels final bend. BIG TIME ROONIE (5) - slipped on jumping before shouldering with COSSIE COOPER. BIG TIME KOBE (7) - obligated to check off heels early stages. Lost ground when awkwardly placed to the outside of BIG TIME TRAE rounding the first bend.
Race 5	KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C5 - C5 - 305	BIGTIME ZIGGY (1) - jostled with YASAWA LIGHTS prior to the bend. YASAWA LIGHTS (2) - shouldered briefly with BIG TIME JONIE in the run to the bend. Jostled with BIGTIME ZIGGY prior to the bend losing balance and ground. BIG TIME KEVIN (3) - slow early. BIG TIME JONIE (6) - began awkwardly. Shouldered briefly with YASAWA LIGHTS in the run to the bend.
Race 6	PRESIDENTS DASH C2 - C2 - 305	CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (2) - jostled with ALAMEIN PUDLY early stages. ALAMEIN PUDLY (3) - jostled with CLANSMAN DOUGLAS early stages. GEMMAS DILEMMA (6) - checked from behind rounding the bend. KIOSK (7) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of BIG TIME QUEEN entering the bend having to steady losing ground. Again awkwardly placed rounding the bend losing further ground.
Race 7	WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C3/4 - C3/4 - 520	BAVARO (2) - collided with CLASSIC RAPPER on jumping. Crowded for racing room prior to exiting the first bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CLASSIC RAPPER (3) - collided with BAVARO on jumping. Placed in restricted room rounding the final bend. BIG TIME AMBER (4) - dictated down the track early stages and obligated to raced in tight quarters. Checked off heels shortly afterwards. Crowded inside runners prior to exiting the first bend. BIG TIME GINA (6) - crowded the racing room of BIG TIME AMBER early stages. Had heels clipped in the run to the first bend losing balance for a stride. Crowded for racing room prior to exiting the first bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KONGS OUT AGAIN (7) - crowded entering the first bend.
Race 8	WANGANUI TOYOTA C3 - C3 - 305	PAVING WAY (3) - shouldered with SEDGEBROOK LOVER in the run to the bend. SEDGEBROOK LOVER (4) - began awkwardly before having its hindquarters raced on by AHUROA PRINCESS. Shouldered with PAVING WAY in the run to the bend. Raced on heels entering the bend. AHUROA PRINCESS (6) - raced on the hindquarters of SEDGEBROOK LOVER early stages. GOTCHA MARSHALL (7) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. DOTTIE BELL (8) - checked and lost ground entering the bend. SO SEVERE (10/5) - shifted in off heels exiting the bend.
Race 9	ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C4/5 - C4/5 - 520	No time was taken for this race. NOVA WILLOW (1) - slow early. SIMPLY SMOOTH (3) - shifted off heels first bend clipping HAIDEE BALE before being slightly checked by BIG TIME FRANKIE. HAIDEE BALE (6) - clipped from behind first bend. BIG TIME FRANKIE (7) - checked when becoming placed on the heel first bend.
Race 10	LASER PLUMBING C3 - C3 - 305	MOTHER'S TOUCH (1) - checked entering the bend losing ground. Coursed wide exiting the bend. PRETTY BELINDA (2) - dragged down entering the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain in its right deltoid. SO EXCITED (5) - hindquarters contacted on jumping by BIG TIME JUDA. Shifted up the track shouldering with HIP HOP RAPPER in the run to the bend. Turned inwards entering the bend losing ground. HIP HOP RAPPER (7) - shouldered with SO EXCITED in the run to the bend. Continued to shoulder with this greyhound losing ground entering the bend as a consequence. Checked off heels exiting the bend. IDOL DUKE (8) - checked entering the bend.
Race 11	HATRICK DASH C3/4 - C3/4 - 305	DINO THE FOX (9/6) - was a late scratching after being retrieved from the kennels. ARTICULATOR (1) - terminally checked entering the bend. WIFI BOLT (2) - dictated down the track through the initial stages. DENUTO (3) - slow early. MACHINE GUNN (4) - dictated down the track through the initial stages. BIGTIME HONEY (5) - shifted down towards the rail through the initial stages dictating MACHNE GUNN and WIFI BOLT down the track. Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BIG TIME FLASH (7) - crowded BIGTIME HONEY entering the bend becoming awkwardly placed and losing ground. Terminally checked entering the bend.

BIGTIME EMJAY (3) - collided with LIFE IS GOOD early stages shifting up the track and onto the hindquarters of BIGTIME LEO. ALLEGRO KYLE (4) - crowded the racing line of LIFE IS GOOD early stages.
