Judicial report: 1). Trainer D Lane has advised that their Kennels have an outbreak of Kennel Cough. As a consequence to this all of their runners engaged in all race meetings have been scratched at the direction of GRNZ.

2). 1). AMURI BATMAN (J McInerney) - was a late scratching at late Kennelling showing clinical signs of Kennel Cough, as a consequence to this, all remaining greyhounds trained by Mr McInerney engaged to race at today's meeting, and all subsequent meetings where greyhounds are domiciled at his Darfield kennel hold engagements have been scratched at the direction of GRNZ.

Shouldered with this greyhound on entering the bend. OPAWA LIGHTNING (7) - raced on the hindquarters of KNOW RATIO early stages. Shouldered with this greyhound on entering the bend. MAYHEM MADE (8) - coursed wide through the run to the bend. Checked off heels exiting the bend.

Race 5	Far South Challenge (Group 2) Heats - C5q - 457 Heat 2	OSTER BALE (1) - checked off heels in the run to the bend before jostling with OPAWA VINNY. OPAWA VINNY (2) - hampered early stages. Jostled with OSTER BALE prior to the bend. ADOBE BRO (3) - hampered early stages. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (5) - impeded inside runners early stages. Weakened late in the run home.
Race 6	Far South Challenge (Group 2) Heats - C5q - 457 Heat 3	HOMEBUSH BOMBER was a late scratching under GRNZ Rule 5.1(v). PEPPER CHIMES (4) - hampered early stages LONGSHANKS (5) - shifted down the track early stages impeding PEPPER CHIMES. Checked off heels prior to the bend.

Race 9	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C1 - 390	SAM AND SI was a late scratching under GRNZ Rule 5.1(v). BUSTER'S BROTHER (4) - dictated ADOBE SPINNER up the track in the run to the bend. ADOBE SPINNER (6) - slow early before being shifting up the track by BUSTER'S BROTHER.
Race 10	Oreti Beach Run - C1 - 457	AMURI SMOKE, HOMEBUSH DREAM and AMURI JOSIE were late scratchings under GRNZ Rule 5.1(v). AUTO SPEED (2) - jostled with YES YES NO entering the bend. YES YES NO (4) - jostled with AUTO SPEED entering the bend. GOLDSTAR ROYAL (5) - slow early. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a suspected fractured toe with x rays being recommended. Stewards follow up 17Dec2020 revealed torn ligaments. KNOW SMOKEY (7) - slow early.
Race 11	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390	IMPRESSIVE HIGH and NIPPA ENOUGH were late scratchings under GRNZ Rule 5.1(v). OPAWA COOPER (2) - checked off heels in the run to the bend. COURSE YOU WOULD (3) - dictated down the track early stages. YOUNG ROMEO (5) - shifted down the track abruptly on jumping. Crowded the racing line of OPAWA COOPER in the run to the line.
Race 12	Mr Whippy Southland - C3 - 457	TROUBLESOME KEV (7) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing momentum.

MAXIMUS SPEED (5) - dictated SOUTHERN ANGEL down the track in the run to the bend.
