Trainers H Anderton, S Hindson, R Blackburn, G Cleeve, L Waretini, A Joyce and M Grant have all advised that their Kennels have an outbreak of Kennel Cough. As a consequence to this all of their runners have been scratched from today's meeting at the direction of GRNZ.

Warnings:

1). N Wanhalla - cautioned for failing to kennel his runners by the prescribed time.

2). N Wanhalla - cautioned for failing to arrange a catcher for HUSTLE ACE in Race 9.

HOMEBUSH ZENA (7) - raced in restricted room rounding the bend becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of AMURI EARLY. AMURI EARLY (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH ZENA rounding the bend being turned outwards as a consequence. Jostled with EDISON exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. EDISON (9/1) - slow early. Placed in tight quarters rounding the bend when attempting to improve into a marginal run. Jostled with AMURI EARLY exiting the bend.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Bonnie Evans Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA GRAVEL (4) - dragged down and lost all momentum rounding the final bend. Jostled with LOCKY BALBOA exiting the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. UPSTART CROW (6) - collided with BORING on jumping. CHecked off heels losing momentum entering the back straight. BORING (7) - collided with UPSTART CROW on jumping. Climbed on heels rounding the final bend. SMOOTHIE (8) - held up for racing room rounding the final bend shifting off heels and shouldering with LOCKY BALBOA. TOMFOOLERY (9/1) - raced green through the early stages. Hampered entering the first bend. LOCKY BALBOA (10/5) - boxed first Slow early. Placed on heels entering the first bend. Shouldered up the track rounding the final bend. Jostled with OPAWA GRAVEL exiting the final bend

Raced on the shoulder of BORN TRIXIE in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH PEPPA (6) - raced on the hindquarters of HOMEBUSH JEWEL early stages. Placed in restricted room in the run to the bend. Obligated to check off heels rounding the bend losing ground. BORN TRIXIE (7) - raced on the shoulder of HOMEBUSH JEWEL in the run to the bend. Referred to vet found to have a right front toe sprain. HOMEBUSH AROHA (8) - shifted across heels early stages. Jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH ROXY prior to the bend. HOMEBUSH ROXY (10/3) - slightly turn inwards in the run to the bend when squeezing the running line of IMPRESSIVE AMY before jostling briefly with HOMEBUSH AROHA.
Race 4	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH FURY (1) - hampered entering the bend. Jostled with YAPPY YAP exiting the bend. ROSIES CHOICE (9/2) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing all momentum. YAPPY YAP (10/6) - jostled with HOMEBUSH FURY exiting the bend.
Race 5	Garrard's Horse And Hound Dash - C1 - 295	PRINCELY CASH (1) - shifted up the track early stages. Climbed on heels rounding the bend losing ground. TONKAWA (3) - boxed first. Obliged to check off heels entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH ARCHIE (5) - placed in restricted room in the run to the bend. WHITMAN (6) - checked from behind rounding the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH POPPY (7) - dictated down the track in the run to the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing ground. Hampered rounding the bend. COSMIC MARTY (8) - shifted down the track in the run to the bend dictating HOMEBUSH POPPY down the track.
Race 6	Happy Birthday Ashley Bradshaw Dash - C1 - 295	OPAWA PINK (1) - jostled briefly with AMURI MAGIC early stages. Jostled with MISS JUNE in the run to the bend. Placed on heels entering the bend and again rounding it. BIG TINY (10/1) - placed on heels and had to check losing ground prior to the bend.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C1 - 295	TAKE A HINT (4) - hindquarters raced on early stages. CHICAGO HEAD (5) - boxed first. Forced down onto the hindquarters of TAKE A HINT early stages. Raced in restricted room rounding the bend before becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of DOUBLE QUEENIE exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH GEORGE (6) - forced down onto CHICAGO HEAD early stages. NOVA RAPIDE (7) - shifted down the track on jumping obliging HOMEBUSH GEORGE down onto CHICAGO HEAD. DOUBLE QUEENIE (8) - awkwardly positioned to the outside of CHICAGO HEAD exiting the bend losing balance for a stride.
Race 9	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C1 - 520	HOMEBUSH CARRA (1) - jostled briefly with MY CURLY on jumping. Hampered entering the first bend. MY CURLY (2) - jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH CARRA on jumping losing ground. Placed on heels first bend. OPAWA HARPER (3) - placed in restricted room entering the final bend. DUBLIN EXPRESS (6) - checked and lost its footing entering the first bend. Jostled briefly with HUSTLE ACE in the run to the finish. OPAWA OLIVER (7) - awkwardly positioned on heels exiting the first bend. BYE BYE PUNTER (8) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend. Race 10	Balcairn Stockfoods & CopRice Dog Food Dash - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH COOL (1) - forced down the track initial stages. Checked and lost ground when placed in restricted room rounding the bend. OPAWA COOPER (2) - forced HOMEBUSH COOL down the track initial stages. Crowded the racing line of HOMEBUSH COOL rounding the bend. OPAWA STUBBORN (5) - clipped the heels of GREY WIND exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH MIST (6) - slow early. PONTIAC PAT (7) - shouldered with BALDRICK prior to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels through the later part of the bend. BALDRICK (8) - boxed first. Shouldered with PONTIAC PAT prior to the bend. GREY WIND (10/3) - heels clipped exiting the bend coursing wide as a consequence.
Race 11	Suck It Up Ltd Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH SONJA (1) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH JORDIE early stages and again prior to the bend being turned inwards as a consequence. AMURI JOSIE (2) - slow early. Dragged down rounding the bend. Jostled with HOMEBUSH FUDGE exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH JORDIE (3) - jostled with HOMEBUSH SONJA early stages. Placed in restricted room and had to check prior to the bend losing ground. Dragged down rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GO GUNNA (5) - coursed wide rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (6) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Hampered by checked runners rounding the bend. Jostled with AMURI JOSIE exiting the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH FANTA (2) - turned inwards when racing to the inside of HOMEBUSH CARTER prior to the bend. HOMEBUSH CARTER (3) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed to the inside of CITIZEN AGUERO early stages. Placed in restricted room entering the bend. HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (5) - Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with Kennel Representative J McInerney Jnr. Mr McInerney Jnr submitted that HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT, after making a fast beginning, had benefited from an unimpeded run in front, helped by interference to several runners entering the bend. IMPRESSIVE HIGH (6) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. OPAWA NIP (7) - contacted from the outside on jumping losing its balance for a stride. LADY SOBERS (8) - made contact with OPAWA NIP on jumping.
