Judicial report: Stewards questioned trainer L Coles's kennel representative Mr B Cole in regards to the scratching of BIG TIME ANTON from the New Zealand Cup Semi Final 3 after it was scratched under GRNZ Rule 40.15. Mr Cole advised Stewards that the greyhound was found to have an injury to its right flexor carpi ulnaris in the day subsequent to its heat with Mr Cole being reminded of the obligation to report to Stewards as soon as practicable anything which might have had any bearing in the past running of a Greyhound.

Race 2	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Semi Final 2 - C5q - 520 Heat 2	OZZIE (1) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend. UTHOR BALE (2) - climbed on the heels of MAX DANCER entering the bend becoming unbalanced and falling to the track. Referred to the Veterinarian and stood down for 5 days as a precaution. MAX DANCER (3) - checked entering the first bend losing momentum before being dragged down by UTHOR BALE. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. NIGHTHAWK THORN (5) - last to jump shifting up the track to course wide though the run to the first bend. Shouldered with FAMOUS LEE rounding the first bend. FAMOUS LEE (6) - shouldered with NIGHTHAWK DOWN rounding the first bend. BIG TIME SETH (7) - hampered entering the first bend. VAN EVIE (8) - hampered and raced wide entering the first bend.
Race 3	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Semi Final 3 - C5q - 520 Heat 3	PRETTY BUSY (1) - hindquarters raced on early stages. OPAWA NAT (2) - shouldered with RIPSLINGER ROXY prior to the finish line. ANGRY JANE (3) - jostled with BIG TIME LANTAO prior to the first bend. Placed in restricted room entering the first bend losing ground. ZIPPING SARAH (5) - shifted up the track early stages. Checked and obliged to check outwards off heels entering the first bend. BIG TIME LANTAO (7) - shifted inwards on jumping checking off the heels of ZIPPING SARAH. Jostled with ANGRY JANE prior to the first bend. Awkwardly positioned to the inside of LEONARD BALE rounding the final bend. LEONARD BALE (8) - checked first bend. Placed briefly on heels exiting the first bend. RIPSLINGER ROXY (10/6) - slow to jump shifted down the track and making contact with the hindquarters of PRETTY BUSY. Shifted down the track prior to the finish line shouldering with OPAWA NAT.
Race 4	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Semi Final 4 - C5q - 520 Heat 4	YOEL BALE (1) - jostled briefly with ROCK ON JOHN in the run to the bend placing GOLDSTAR YANKEE in restricted room. Abruptly checked off heels when placed in restricted room to the inside of OPAWA DEAL rounding the first bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR YANKEE (2) - placed in restricted room in the run to the bend having to check. Shouldered with ZIPPING SHELDON exiting the final bend. ROCK ON JOHN (3) - jostled briefly with YOEL BALE in the run to the bend placing GOLDSTAR YANKEE in restricted room. OPAWA DEAL (5) - had heels clipped entering the first bend. ZIPPING SHELDON (6) - jostled with ADOBE BRO on jumping. Clipped heels entering the first bend shifting up the track as a consequence. Contacted from the inside exiting the final bend shifting outwards and briefly contacting BIGTIME COOPER. ADOBE BRO (7) - jostled with ZIPPING SHELDON on jumping. Obligated to race wide first bend. BIGTIME COOPER (8) - contacted from the inside exiting the bend.

OPAWA DAN (2) - became unbalanced for a stride when racing on the hind quarters of ULYSSA BALE in the run to the bend. Hampered entering the bend. OUR COOK (4) - hampered by checked runners entering the bend. ARCHIE JOHN HILL (5) - collided with MITCHAM USAIN on jumping. MITCHAM USAIN (6) - collided with ARCHIE JOHN HILL on jumping before shouldering briefly with TRICKY. Lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. TRICKY (7) - shouldered briefly with MITCHAM USAIN on jumping. Hampered and lost momentum entering the bend. LISA'S BOY (8) - hampered when racing to the outside of runners entering the bend.

Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a laceration to its right hock. BILLY RAY (6) - raced on the hindquarters of NO KISSY MISSY early stages.
