Weather: Overcast
Track: Dead After a fair amount of rain leading up to the meeting the track was presented in a safe racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: 1- MURMUR race 9 was charged with ( failing to pursue ) and has been stood down for 3 months and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.

Race 1 Formpro Ratings Free Every Tuesday C4/C5 - C4/5 - 457 BIG TIME ANTON (1) - fav- dwelt and was slow into stride. He looked to improve along the inner onto the top bend and was hampered when unable to clear heels. He soon came back off heels losing ground and was jostled between runners coming to the home turn. He made some ground in the latter stages to the line.
BIGTIME BRODY (7) - racing to the bend he was tightened and jostled between runners then came back off heels becoming awkwardly placed as they entered the bend. He angled back down to the rail across the top bend making ground. He weakened in the run to the line.
SUB TWENTY THREE (8) - angled across racing to the bend causing tightening and jostling to runners to his inner for some strides.
Race 2 Pay Ya Bill Butcher C4 - C4 - 457 SIMPLY SMOOTH (1) - handy into the bed when tightened and jostled for some strides. He recovered ground racing onto the top bend changed ground over heels into the home straight. Was unable to make ground to the line.
BIG TIME TRAE (2) - caught between runners and checked losing momentum and ground into the bend. Was unable to make ground thereafter.
BIG TIME MAC (3) - racing to the bend he was tightened in onto heels checking losing momentum and ground. He was unable to make ground thereafter.
BIGTIME LEVI (4) - away well early stages. Tightened jostled and checked back racing into the bend. Soon after he came back off heels angled outwards racing wide thereafter making good ground to the line.
YOUNG DUMB BROKE (8) - bumped and pushed outwards into the bend. Attempted to make ground around runners to the home turn. Effort told in the run to the line.
Race 3 Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1 - 410 ENTREE ONLY (1) - hampered for room in the run to the bend. Soon after he was forced to abruptly check back off heels losing momentum and ground. Did make some ground to the line.
ZIPPING LUTHER (2) - hampered for room arcing into the bend. Racing handy on the inner when contacted and lost a couple of lengths nearing the home turn. He was unable to make ground to the line.
HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (3) - checked racing into the bend and ran extremely wide as he balanced up. He was unable to improve to the line.
HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (5) - tightened and checked racing onto the top bend going back onto ENTREE ONLY.
RHODES WORTHY (6) - soon after the start he angled across and was bumped outwards. He then angled in between runners causing himself to be checked again. He came back off heels racing onto the top bend. He made ground ground into the body of the field nearing the home turn running into ZIPPING LUTHER. He made some ground in the latter stages to the line.
Race 4 Meat Warehouse, Hamilton C2 - C2 - 410 SUMMER GLEE (2) - racing handy around the bend when hampered for a couple of strides as BIG TIME HAZEL moved inwards. She weakened in the run to the line.
PENNY MOWHAWK (3) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. She settled back and was unable to make ground to the line.
HOMEBUSH MAXI (7) - only fairly away. Settled in the rear racing into the bend and was unable to make ground thereafter. He was referred to the vet and found to have pain right front shoulder and right hind gracilis.
HERE'S HEMI (8) - forced to race widest into and around the bend. Made very good ground wide thereafter to finish best in the run to the line.
Race 5 Paul Claridge Electrical C0 - C0 - 457 ALFIE DAMAN (5) - dwelt at the jump and was slow into stride. He settled back ran wide into the home straight finishing towards the rear at the line.
BIG TIME GREG (8) - dwelt at the jump and was slow into stride. Settled back and was never in contention thereafter.
Race 6 Kernow Construction C1 - C1 - 457 SHELLY POM (3) - dwelt and was slow into stride. She was hampered when improving into the bend losing some momentum and ground. Once balanced up into the home straight made good ground to the line.
WOMAN NO CRY (4) - in the run to the bend she angled out across heels running into BIGTIME AVA. She race wide there after to the line.
GRAY BALE (7) - angled across into the bend tightening in onto SHELLY POM causing himself to be hampered losing momentum and ground. He was unable to improve to the line.
BIGTIME AVA (8) - in the run to the bend she was bumped and checked as WOMAN NO CRY angled outwards. She lost momentum and several lengths settling in the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 7 Total Bodyshop Supplies C1 - C1 - 457 DOUBLE THAT (1) - checked and unbalanced for a stride when contacting hindquarters in the run to the bend. He lost several lengths and made good ground to the line in the latter stages.
JETLAG JAG (2) - dwelt and was slow into stride. He settled in the rear and was unable to make ground thereafter.
KAMADA PARK (6) - finishing strongly in the latter stages when tightened and checked just short of the line.
POPPY ROCKET (7) - contact in the hindquarters when angling across to the lead racing to the bend. Moved inwards just short of the line hampering runner to her inner.
Race 8 J P Print, Petone C2 - C2 - 457 BIG TIME ODETTE (1) - fav- hampered for some strides when jostled in the run to the bend. She settled midfield on the inner but was unable to make ground to the line.
BIGTIME ALFIE (3) - soon after the start he was checked and stumbled almost falling losing momentum and ground. He was unable to make ground thereafter. He was referred to the vet and cleared of injury.
WIFI WILBUR (4) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. Soon after she was bumped and lost ground as BIG TIME ROCKET angled across. She improved around runners in the run around the bend and to the line.
BIGTIME DIESEL (6) - raced wide into the bend . Faltered on the home turn when clear of interference finishing in the rear at the line. He was referred to the vet and was found to have right hind tarsal joint injury which was wrapped by the vet with pain medication administered. The vet has referred the dog on for xrays and further treatment. BIGTIME DIESEL will be required to complete a satisfactory trial before racing in the future
Race 9 Doug Bradley Painters C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457 RAPID FIRE (5) - soon after the start changed ground outwards and was clipped from behind. He raced wide making ground towards the home turn where on straightening he angled across to the rail. Soon after he was tightened and checked as MURMUR angled across onto his shoulder. He lost all chance thereafter to the line.
MURMUR (7) - fav- dwelt at the jump and was slow into stride. Soon after he angled went to angle inwards and was dictated outwards catching heels and checking. He then angled down to the rail into the bend settling towards the rear. Racing to the home turn he angled outwards into the body of the field and on turning into the home straight looked inwards for a stride. Soon after he turned his head inwards angling across towards RAPID FIRE running into his shoulder for a couple of strides. He then straightened for the run to the line. He was referred to the vet and was found to have moderate pain over right front shoulder and right hind. A 10 day stand down was recommended. MURMUR was charged with ( failing to pursue ) with due commitment 2nd offence and has been stood down for 3 months and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
Race 10 Buddy Boom C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410 ALLEGRO WILL (1) - soon after the start he angled out over heels and was caught between runners being unbalanced and stumbled for a stride losing momentum and ground. He went back to the rear and was unable to get back into contention thereafter.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE (2) - began awkwardly for a stride or so. Soon after was hampered when tightened and came back from between runners into the bend. She made some ground along the inner to the home turn was unable to make ground to the line.
BIG TIME FROSTY (5) - settled in the midfield checked into the bend and was clipped from behind losing momentum and ground. Racing into the home straight she ran into the hind of BIG TIME ANGEL as this runner came back on her. She finished towards the rear at the line.
BIG TIME LEBRON (6) - dwelt and was last into stride. He angled out to race widest into and around the bend to the line.
BIG TIME ANGEL (7) - fav- worked to the lead into the bend. Faltered racing on to the top bend when clear of interference going back through the field and was contacted in the hindquarters and went sideways turning to the home straight. She finished onto the lure and was referred to the vet and was cleared of injury. The Cole kennels have been requested to advise the Stewards regarding the dogs health in the coming days.
LIFE IS GOOD (8) - slight contact in the hindquarters into the bend. He was going well enough to keep his position into the bend.
PICK A PASCAL (9/3) - racing in tight quarters towards the bend when forced to angle outwards to avoid heels. He tightened runners to his outer for a few strides. Made good ground thereafter to the line.
Race 11 PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C4/C5 - C4/5 - 410 BIGTIME CHRIS (1) - bumped racing off the mats and settled back. was unable to make ground to the line.
BIG TIME BILLIE (3) - rolled in slightly in the concluding stages as BIGTIME PUMA improved along the inner.
BIGTIME PUMA (5) - was hampered when tightened as he was improving on the inner of BIG TIME BILLIE in the closing stages
FREE THINKER (6) - ran outwards into the bend when checking to avoid heels. He forced BAVARO and himself to race extremely wide onto the top bend. he continued to race wide thereafter to the line.
BAVARO (8) - checked and pushed out wide into the bend losing momentum and all chance thereafter.
Race 12 Bigtime Paddy at Stud C2/C3 - C2/3 - 410 LITTLE SCAMP (3) - began very awkwardly and was last into stride by several lengths. She angled out widest into the bend then angled back inwards making ground to the line.
LIGHT CRUISER (6) - away well in the early stages. Soon after she was bumped and jostled when between runners and pushed across onto the shoulder of MOTHER'S TOUCH. She was caught in tight quarters and forced back to the rear coming back off heels. She was unable to get back into contention thereafter.
GIRAFFE CLUB (7) - bumped and jostled for some strides losing ground and momentum racing into the bend. He ran outwards and was checked again racing widest around the bend to the home straight. he was unable to make ground to the line.
ALLEGRO KYLE (8) - angled inwards into the bend across the line of MOTHER'S TOUCH and was checked as this runner ran into her hindquarters.
MOTHER'S TOUCH (10/2) - soon after the start she attempted to angle across running into the hind of LIGHT CRUISER. Racing into the bend she was badly hampered when running onto the hind of ALLEGRO KYLE and out onto GIRAFFE CLUB. She lost momentum and ground. She angled outwards into the home straight making ground to the line in the latter stages.
