• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

JUDICIAL REPORT

1) Trainer D Lane was fined $100.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 45.11 when GARY weighed in 1.6 kgs under its last race weight on 20 August.

2) OPAWA BAILEY (R Wales) was stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1.a. for Marring during Race 1.

Stood down for 28 days under Rule 55.1.a. and must complete Satisfactory Trial. YOUNG ROMEO (8) - slow to jump. Pushed wide by OPAWA MARGARET home turn.
Race 2	MARK TURNER PAINTER PH021737111 - C1 - 390	MY GIRL SOFIA (1) - ran wide in the straights. FROZEN PARADISE (3) - slow in early stages. Checked and ran outwards on bend when checked by SOUTHERN PHOENIX. OPAWA LACY (4) - checked by GALAFIANAKIS into bend losing ground. GALIFIANAKIS (5) - ran inwards into bend contacting OPAWA LACY and was dragged down losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TIDES END (6) - checked outwards off heels of SOUTHERN PHOENIX into bend. SOUTHERN PHOENIX (7) - had heels clipped by TIDES END into bend. Turned sideways soon after when contacting GALAFIANAKIS. Ran inwards on bend checking FROZEN PARADISE. DREAM STONE JADE (8) - slow in early stages.
Race 3	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C1 - 457	SPEEDY LUCY (2) - very slow to jump. Checked outwards off heels of OPAWA GYPSY into bend losing ground. OPAWA GYPSY (3) - ran outwards back straight contacting TOBY'S CHOICE. Soon after was contacted by SOUTHERN KING losing momentum. Had heels checked by SPEEDY LUCY into bend. SOUTHERN KING (4) - ran outwards back straight contacting OPAWA GYPSY and being dragged down losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. OPAWA VIOLET (6) - badly checked back straight losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. TOBY'S CHOICE (7) - contacted by OPAWA GYPSY back straight losing ground. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - C1 - 390	CANYA MONEYMAKER (2) - contacted by PRETTY KEEN early stages losing ground. Contacted C'MON BENNY BOY into bend when improving to its inside. PRETTY KEEN (3) - ran inwards contacting CANYA MONEYMAKER early stages. AUTO SPEED (4) - ran outwards early stages pushing KIPJO wider. Got on heels into bend losing ground. MIKIL (5) - ran wide home straight. KIPJO (6) - pushed wide by AUTO SPEED early stages. Pushed very wide into bend losing chance. C'MON BENNY BOY (7) - pushed outwards by MIKIL back straight checking OPAWA BUD in consequence. Contacted by CANYA MONEYMAKER into bend when that runner improved to its inside. OPAWA BUD (8) - checked by C'MON BENNY BOY back straight losing ground. Pushed wide into bend losing ground.
Race 5	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - SPECA - 457	PEPPER CHIMES (1) - tightened by outside runners back straight then ran outwards checking JUST OLIVE. Checked outwards off the heels of KIWI GUNN into bend losing chance. Hampered and pushed wide by JUST OLIVE early in run home. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. JUST OLIVE (2) - badly tightened by KIWI GUNN back straight then checked by PEPPER CHIMES and ran wide in consequence. Ran outwards early in home straight hampering PEPPER CHIMES. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. VOLCANIC WHISPER (3) - ran outwards early stages contacting DOUBLE SPEED. DOUBLE SPEED (4) - contacted by VOLCANIC WHISPER early stages. KIWI GUNN (5) - ran inwards back straight tightening inside runners. Had heels clipped by PEPPER CHIMES into bend. GARY (7) - ran wide into bend.
