Judicial report: • This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

Christchurch GRC - 17th September 2020

1). Contrary to this report, Stewards have been informed that the Greyhound SELECT TRICK had not been examined post race as reported due to a communication error. Trainer C Weir has reported that the greyhound had pulled up well this morning from its engagement with no signs of ill effect.

Judicial Report:

1). An investigation has been opened and adjourned into the conduct demonstrated towards a Steward by Public Trainer Mr C Steele prior to the commencement of the meeting.

Dropped out concluding stages. Assessed by vet and found to have mild hypoxia with no stand down considered necessary. The connections advised that the bitch would be confined to sprints in its immediate engagements. HOMEBUSH CARRA (4) - checked by OPAWA RUBY early stages. Contacted by DIAMOND ROSETTE first bend. BLACK TORI (3) - ran inwards early stages pushing CRYSTAL CINDI down the track. SMASH SURPRISE (6) - raced wide final bend. BLAZING BANJO (9/4) - contacted GO GREAT in back straight.
Race 4	CGRC Awards Dinner 26 September Sprint - C1 - 295	AMURI JOSIE (1) - slow to jump. Checked into bend becoming unbalanced. Got on heels of YANIRA BALE on bend losing ground then checked from behind by ARCHIE'S ALBA. HORSE RANGE OPAL (2) - ran very wide home straight. ARCHIE'S ALBA (3) - ran outwards early stages tightening outside runners. Checked by YANIRA BALE into bend and ran outwards losing ground. Got on heels of AMURI JOSIE and ran outwards losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. YANIRA BALE (4) - tightened and pushed outwards by ARCHIE'S ALBA early stages. Ran inwards into bend checking inside runners. Had heels clipped by AMURI JOSIE on bend. Contacted by HOMEBUSH HERO home straight. HOMEBUSH HERO (5) - tightened and lost ground early stages. Ran outwards home straight contacting YANIRA BALE. HORSE RANGE (3) - got on heels on bend losing momentum. PRECIOUS PAYTON (4) - forced very wide around bend. MISS JUNE (5) - tightened into bend losing ground. KINGI REIGNS (7) - slow to jump. Raced very wide final bend. HOMEBUSH MACHO (8) - slow to jump. RAQUEL ALLEN (9/6) - hampered on bend as KNOW FAREWELL ran outwards.
