Weather: Overcast
Track: Good After heavy rain leading up to the meeting the track curator was able to present a good racing surface throughout the meeting. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: No weights recorded.
Health and Safety comment: Nil.

Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

1- There were no weights recorded today due to the scales not being accurate before and after being attended to by a Technician.
The club will have this rectified before the next race meeting.

2-- CHEESE AND CHALK # 7 race 8( L Cole ) this dog has been retired as from today.

Race 1 Formpro Ratings Free Every Tuesday C1 - C1 - 410 ENTREE ONLY (2) - handy on the inner when checked in to the bend going back towards the rear. Ran wide in to the bend and soon after ran on to heels checking. Lost momentum and ground. Was referred to the vet and found to be clear of injury.
HOMEBUSH SUSAN (3) - looking to challenge for the lead in to the home straight when coming together with HOMEBUSH MAXI for several strides.
YASAWA LIGHTS (4) - fav- began awkwardly and was last in to stride by 3 or so lengths. He improved wide around runners across the top bend and was hampered nearing the home turn when bumping and jostling with BUTTER CHURN for several strides turning in. He weakened in the run to the line. Was referred to the vet and found found to be clear of injury.
HOMEBUSH MAXI (5) - leading in to the home straight and came together with HOMEBUSH SUSAN for several strides.
RHODES WORTHY (8) - forced to race wide to the bend.Settled handy in between runners. Was severely checked and went back on to ENTREE ONLY across the top bend. Lost ground and all chance from there. Was referred to the vet and was found to be clear of injury.
Race 2 J P Print, Petone C1/C2 - C1/2 - 410 There was a 2 minute delay to this race whilst Ducks were moved from the track.
JETLAG JAG (1) - tightened and checked back in to the bend. Was unable to get back in to contention thereafter.
MAGIC FLYNN (2) - in the run to the bend was tightened and jostled for some strides. Was then checked and lost ground in to the bend. Made good ground thereafter to the line.
DOUBLE CHANGE (3) - went up with the lids and was slow in to stride. He checked wide over heels in to the bend. Was unable to make ground.
GIRAFFE CLUB (5) - angled across racing in to the bend checking MAGIC FLYNN to his inner.
BIG TIME HAZEL (7) - stewards enquired in to the change around in form today. Kennel rep reported that the dog had been unlucky in a couple of her previous starts. The kennel were expecting a better performance today. With a clearer run in the race today the win was not unexpected.
THOMAS WILLIAM (8) - was awkwardly away for a stride or so. Dictated widest in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 3 Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C2 - C2 - 410 BIG TIME SPOT (3) - came out over heels in to the bend coming together and bumping with FOOL'S RUSSIAN for a couple of strides.
EYE KNO (4) - looking to improve along the inner across the top bend when checked and lost ground. Was unable to get back in to contention thereafter.
ALLEGRO VEY (5) - was awkwardly away for a stride or so.Settled back unable to clear heels in to the bend.Made ground in the latter stages.
FOOL'S RUSSIAN (6) - away well. handy in to the bend when pushed wide bumped and unbalanced. lost momentum back to the rear. Was unable to improve to the line. Was referred to the vet and found to be clear of injury.
Race 4 Paul Claridge Electrical C1 - C1 - 457 MURMUR (1) - jumped well. Soon in to the lead and was never headed.
GAZZA'S GIRL (2) - severely checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground back to the rear. She raced wide thereafter finishing towards the rear at the line.
TUFF MR. TEE (3) - checked racing from the start as PLAN STAN ran across sharply. He recovered quickly back in to stride to race up handy.
PLAN STAN (4) - jumped and ran hard in across the the face of TUFF MR TEE. He chased the tear away leader thereafter to the line.
BIG TIME TOMMEY (6) - angled across in the run to the bend jostling with HOMEBUSH SURGEON to his inner. racing in to the bend he angled in across the line of HOMEBUSH SURGEON checking this runner.
GOLDSTAR HADLEE (8) - forced to race widest in to and across the top bend. Was unable to make ground to the line.
HOMEBUSH SURGEON (9/7) - racing to the bend was jostled for some strides as BIG TIME TOMMEY to his outer attempted to angle across.He was checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention.
Race 5 Doug Bradley Painters C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457 OPAWA JUNE (4) - last away. Was checked and lost momentum when racing in the rear across the top bend. Could not make ground to the line. Was referred to the vet and was clear of injury.
GRAY BALE (8) - racing towards the rear in to the bend. Angled across to the nearing the top bend checking OPAWA JUNE to his inner.
Race 6 Kernow Construction C3 - C3 - 457 RAPID FIRE (3) - angled outwards to improve and was jostled racing in to the bend. Raced handy across the top bend. Weakened in the latter stages to the line.
ELECTRICAL STORM (4) - soon after the start went back from between runners. Settled in the rear in to the bend. Attempted to improve wider out across the top bend. Contact with BIGTIME LEVI turning in. Was unable to make ground to the line.
BIGTIME LEVI (8) - raced widest in to and around the bend. Contact with ELECTRICAL STORM turning in when out of contention.
Race 7 Steve 'The Auctioneer Davis' C3/C4 - C3/4 - 457 SIMPLY SMOOTH (1) - hampered for several strides in the run to the bend as BIG TIME ANTON angled across jostling. She came back off heels losing momentum and several lengths in to the bend. She was unable to make ground thereafter.
BIG TIME EDEN (8) - raced wide to the bend. Angled inwards around the bend. Was unable to make ground to the line. Finished several lengths in the rear and was referred to the vet and was clear of injury.
Race 8 Total Bodyshop Supplies C5 - C5 - 410 CHEESE AND CHALK has been retired. Race report all clear- only three runners.
Race 9 Outback Trading Company C3/C4 - C3/4 - 410 MEANDERING (2) - tightened and checked racing in to the bend.
BIG TIME FROSTY (4) - tightened between runners and checked racing in to the bend.
DYNAMITE DANGER (6) - angled across the face of BIG TIME KEVIN and was galloped on and almost dragged down.He lost momentum back to the rear. He was checked again when running on to heels racing on to the top bend and finished in the rear at the line .He was referred to the vet and was found to have pain around left hind gracilis muscle area.
BIG TIME KEVIN (7) - severely checked and stumbled racing in to the bend. Losing momentum back towards the rear. Was hampered soon after when clearing heels going back on to following runner. He lost all chance from there on in. Was referred to the vet and was clear of injury.
Race 10 PNGRC Sectional Times @ pngreyhounds.kiwi C3 - C3 - 410 This race was delayed by 6 minutes due to BEES AND BIRDS needing to be re vetted and was cleared to start.
BEES AND BIRDS (1) - bumped and jostled with ALLEGRO PIPPA for some strides in the run to the bend.
ALLEGRO PIPPA (2) - bumped and jostled with BIRDS AND BEES for some strides in the run to the bend. She then moved outwards and bumped in to BIGTIME CHRIS causing her to lose momentum and ground. She recovered very good ground thereafter to the line.
BIGTIME CHRIS (3) - bumped hard by ALLEGRO PIPPA and unbalanced contacting the hindquarters of BIGTIME BRET racing in to the bend.
BIG TIME DAWSON (4) - racing handy towards the home turn when checked and unbalanced losing momentum and ground. He was unable to make ground to the line..
BIG TIME SMILE (5) - improving towards the home turn on the outer of BIG TIME DAWSON when she angled across causing herself to be checked and go sideways for a stride or so. She recovered to make ground to the line.
AKASHI BOY (9/6) - fav- led throughout in first NZ start.
