This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

JUDICIAL:

1) OPAWA JODY (M Flipp) successfully completed a satisfactory trial as required.

2) Trainer S Gommans was issued with a Minor Infringement Notice pursuant with Rule 45.11 in that she presented HOMEBUSH SURGEON (race 10 #2) down 1.6 kg in weight from it's previous race weight on 1 September 2020. A $100 fine was imposed.

Race 2	AON CPF INSURANCE C0 - C0 - 305	JACK MARJEN (2) - slightly inconvenienced entering the bend. FIRECRACKER (3) - checked entering the bend, inconveniencing JACK MARJEN. Unbalanced and bumped ZAMAH on the point of the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed mild pain in left carpal flexion. TUI TONIGHT (4) - bumped at the start. Severely inconvenienced entering the bend, colliding with HARDCORE PATCHES and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries GOLDSTAR MALONE (5) - bumped at the start, in turn bumping TUI TONIGHT. Contacted from behind entering the home straight, becoming unbalanced momentarily and moving up the track. DILLER (6) - began awkwardly, bumping GOLDSTAR MALONE at the start. Contacted from behind shortly after the start. Contacted GOLDSTAR MALONE from behind entering the home straight. HARDCORE PATCHES (7) - severely inconvenienced entering the bend, then had TUI TONIGHT collide with him and out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ZAMAH (8) - checked FIRECRACKER when moving towards the rail entering the bend and dragged down. Bumped on the point of the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. IDOL ABBY (9/1) - began awkwardly, then moved up the track at the start. Contacted DILLER from behind shortly after the start. Raced wide for the majority of the race.
Race 3	LASER PLUMBING C0 - C0 - 305	WIFI SOPHIE (1) - tightened entering the bend. UNWRITTEN LAW (2) - tightened nearing the bend, losing some momentum. Bumped nearing the home straight. Tightened ENDLESS STYLE entering the home straight, becoming unbalanced and bumping BIG TIME GOLDIE. TELLTALE SIGNS (3) - bumped shortly after the start. Squeezed BIG TIME BOOTS nearing the bend. Bumped from behind entering the home straight. MY EMMETT (4) - tightened UNWRITTEN LAW nearing the bend, then tightened WIFI SOPHIE entering the bend. ENDLESS STYLE (5) - slow away. Tightened entering the home straight, needing to check off heels to gain clear racing room. Bumped BUTTER CHURN from behind entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH MAREE (4) - bumped, then squeezed between runners at the start, losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries but stood down under GRNZ fallen Greyhound protocol. BIG TIME TOMMEY (5) - squeezed TEKKI JIM shortly after the start, and momentarily unbalanced. Squeezed TUFF KNIGHT and POPPY ROCKET entering the bend. TEKKI JIM (6) - squeezed shortly after the start, checking across heels to gain clear racing room early. TAKAKAWE (8) - squeezed TEKKI JIM shortly after the start. Inconvenienced by interference to her inside entering the bend, then checked by fallen runner. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.
Race 6	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	There was a 3 minute delay to the start of this race due to the on course judge not being able to contact Raceday Control. THRILLING IVY (1) - coursed wide through the home straight. TRUTH HURTS (2) - brushed ALLEGRO LINCOLN at the start. Buffeted SMALL BOY shortly after the start. ALLEGRO LINCOLN (3) - brushed TRUTH HURTS at the start. RHODES WORTHY (5) - bumped PORCELAIN PANDA nearing the bend. Tightened entering the bend, needing to check off heels to gain clear racing room.
