This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

JUDICIAL:

1) AKASHI BOY (G & S Fredrickson) successfully completed a satisfactory trial as required.

2) Co-trainer J Bell advised Stewards that ZIPPING ROMEO has been retired following today's race.

3) WHITE COMET (D Donlon), race 6 #4, has been stood down to complete a satisfactory trial due to unsatisfactory performance pursuant with Rule 38.9.

CAVATATE (4) - a post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed painful accesory carpal bone on left front left. JETLAG JAG (5) - slow away. Contacted HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN from behind nearing the home straight. SHREWDY (8) - raced wide at various stages throughout. HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (9/3) - began awkwardly. Buffeted THOMAS WILLIAM nearing the bend. Contacted from behind nearing the home straight when racing towards the rear of the field.

Awkwardly placed entering the bend needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room, dictating the racing line of MORNING SUN in the process. BIG TIME SPOT (2) - brushed DAPPER RAPPER entering the home straight. ALLEGRO VEY (3) - contacted from behind nearing the home straight. MIDNIGHT MOLLY (5) - tightened nearing the bend, losing momentum as a result. Coursed wide through the home straight. DAPPER RAPPER (6) - bumped, then tightened MIDNIGHT MOLLY nearing the bend, becoming slightly unbalanced. Contacted ALLEGRO VEY from behind nearing the home straight, losing momentum as a result. Brushed BIG TIME SPOT entering the home straight. Raced wide through the home straight. ALLEGRO NIXON (7) - bumped DAPPER RAPPER nearing the bend. MORNING SUN (8) - slow away. Had racing line dictated entering the bend, being obliged to race wide through the bend.

SHELLY POM (6) - slow away, settling several lengths behind the field. Contacted BIG TIME FELIX from behind entering the home straight, then tightened, becoming unbalanced and bumping BIG TIME JARRED shortly after entering the home straight. BIG TIME JARRED (8) - bumped BIG TIME FELIX nearing the home straight. Bumped shortly after entering the home straight.
Race 6	Paul Claridge Electrical C1/C2 - C1/2 - 457	WHITE COMET (4) - slow away, continued to drift and never in contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. Following submissions from trainer D Donlon, WHITE COMET has been stood down to complete a satisfactory trial pursuant with Rule 38.9 due to unsatisfactory performance.
