Judicial report: This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

Trainer H Cairns advised Stewards that the Greyhound LAKOTA KOHANA had pulled up lame from its engagement last night with its diagnosis being a fractured metatarsal in its left hind leg.

Endorsements:

1). OPAWA COOPER (R Wales) - 28 day stand down and pending a satisfactory trial for Failing to Pursue the Lure in Race 2.

HADES (3) - shouldered with HOMEBUSH COOL early stages. Raced in restricted room prior to the bend losing ground. TIGGERLONG PAT (4) - racing line impeded early stages. Clipped the heels of SIR STAGGER MAN in the run to the lure causing this greyhound to fall. SMASH TRUST (5) - racing line impeded early stages. Raced in tight quarters entering the bend. AMURI SMOKE (6) - racing line impeded early stages. Awkwardly positioned to the outside of SMASH TRUST entering the bend losing momentum. SIR STAGGER MAN (7) - shifted down the track abruptly early stages impeding the racing line of inside greyhounds. Checked and fell in the run to the lure. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a compound fracture to its left radius/ulna bone and was humanely euthanised as a consequence.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Marcie Flipp Stakes - C0 - 520	MULL OF KINTYRE (1) - shifted up the track in the early stages having its hind quarters raced on by ADOBE JUNIOR as a consequence. Continued to course up the track causing an inconvenience to MITCHAM GREG and OPAWA COOPER. Terminally checked entering the first turn. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. ADOBE JUNIOR (3) - raced on the hind quarters of MULL OF KINTYRE early stages checking inwards and making contact with CAPTAIN TIM. MITCHAM GREG (4) - contacted from the outside by OPAWA COOPER early stages. Hampered through the early stages of the back straight. NIGHTHAWK WISH (5) - slow to jump. OPAWA COOPER (6) - collided with MITCHAM GREG early stages. Hampered MITCHAM GREG through the early stages of the back straight when having its hind quarters contacted. Turned its head outwards free of interference prior to the finish line. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for failing to pursue the lure. HOMEBUSH CARRA (7) - terminally checked entering the first turn. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CAPTAIN TIM (9/2) - shifted inward at the start across the heels of MULL OF KINTYRE. Contacted shortly afterwards from the outside by ADOBE JUNIOR. Clipped from behind entering the first turn terminally checking MULL OF KINTYRE and HOMEBUSH CARRA.
Race 3	Hart Family Greyhound Racing Sprint - C2 - 295	MULBERRY SOX (3) - came up with the lid and was slow to jump. MAYBE RIGHT (4) - crowded the racing room of AMURI LIV early stages. AMURI LIV (5) - hampered early stages and raced on the hind quarters of OHOKA LACEY when crowded for racing room. Squeezed for room shortly afterwards. OHOKA LACEY (7) - hind quarters turned outwards early stages when shifting down the track.
Race 4	Kaikanui Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	LETHAL LETTIE (1) - coursed wide back straight. BUNDY (2) - placed in tight quarters entering the first bend losing momentum. Obliged to check off heels rounding the first bend. JOE BONANZA (3) - boxed first. Lost its footing on jumping losing ground. IMPRESSIVE JAZZ (6) - brushed the hind quarters of SHERMO BALE early stages. Hampered entering the final turn. DYNA XARVEL (7) - hampered between runners early stages. HOMEBUSH CARTER (8) - slightly hampered early stages. SHERMO BALE (9/5) - hind quarters brushed early stages. Checked and lost momentum first turn.
Race 5	kiwikiwihounds.co.nz Adoption Dash - C2 - 295	GO GUNNA(5) - was a late scratching after being found to have sustained a laceration to a foot in its kennel. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (3) - hampered racing into the first bend. Held up for racing room rounding the bend. KING KALI (4) - slow to jump before shifting inwards off heels. CRUSHINGTON (7) - coursed wide rounding the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn its right front triceps muscle.
Race 6	Garrard's Horse & Hound Dash - C2 - 295	SNEAKY SNITCH (3) - checked from behind rounding the bend losing momentum. PUNTERS LAST (4) - contacted and forced down the track on jumping. Placed in restricted room and lost ground entering the bend. JAX JEWEL (5) - contacted PUNTERS LAST on jumping. Jostled for a stride with MOANY MALONEY in the run to the bend. Raced on heels rounding the bend losing its balance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MOANY MALONEY (6) - jostled for a stride with JAX JEWEL in the run to the bend. Coursed wide rounding the bend. SMASH DRAGON (7) - checked from behind and coursed wide rounding the bend.
Race 7	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C2 - 295	TAIERI TERRA (1) - jostled with SOZIN'S ASSASSIN early stages. KNOW APPROVAL (2) - squeezed for racing room early stages. SOZIN'S ASSASSIN (3) - jostled with TAIERI TERRA early stages. Shouldered GOLDSTAR AVALON up the track exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR AVALON (5) - forced up the track exiting the bend. DENUTO (7) - came up with the lid and was slow away in consequence.
Race 8	Springston Hotel Stakes - C1 - 520	SEFTON JOY (1) - jostled with BALDRICK through the initial stages. Clipped the heels of TOM FOX first turn. Lost momentum exiting the first bend when awkwardly placed to the inside of BALDRICK contacting HOMEBUSH FUDGE as a result. Checked off heels prior to entering the final bend. BALDRICK (2) - boxed first. Placed in restricted room early stages. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (3) - jostled with BALDRICK through the initial stages. TOM FOX (4) - clipped from behind first turn. BIG TINY (6) - jostled with HOMEBUSH FUDGE through the early stages. HOMEBUSH FUDGE (7) - jostled with BIG TINY through the early stages. Bumped from the inside by SEFTON JOY exiting the first bend.
Race 9	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C3 - 295	YI FENG (2) - raced in restricted room early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend before checking off heels rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH RIEKO (3) - raced in restricted room early stages. SOUFFLE SUE (8) - wide rounding the bend before slightly checked exiting the bend.
Race 10	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C2 - 520	STUMPY BILL (1) - turned inwards in the run to the bend when placing ORINA ALLEN in restricted room. OPALA BALE (2) - squeezed for racing room and obligated to check off heels early stages. ORINA ALLEN (3) - placed in restricted room early stages. Checked off heels and coursed wide entering the first bend. PUNCH ON BUZZ (4) - hampered from the inside and outside during the run to the bend. Placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing ground. KEA VIKING (5) - bumped with PUNCH ON BUZZ through the run to the bend.
Race 11	Islington Tavern Sprint - R/A - 295	HOMEBUSH MILLIE (J McInerney) - was a late scratching at kenneling with soreness in a leg and metatarsal. CRYSTAL CILLA (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend losing momentum. TAIERI BREEZE (3) - shifted off heels rounding the bend forcing MITCHAM BOULT wide. MITCHAM BOULT (4) - awkwardly positioned on the heels of TAIERI BREEZE rounding the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C3 - 295	PENNY JANE (2) - shouldered with MR MUPPET exiting the bend. MR MUPPET (3) - shouldered with PENNY JANE exiting the bend. JACKIE (4) - bumped with SOZIN'S SYMPHONY early stages. SOZIN'S SYMPHONY (5) - placed in restricted room early stages. BLACK ROUNDER (6) - placed in restricted room early stages.
