Track: Good The track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights

Palmerston North GRC 25th August 2020.

Trainer J T McInerney defended a breach of GRNZ Rule 45.11 in that he presented HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN down 1.6kgs inside the allowable 28 day period from its most recent start on the 28th July 2020. This was referred to the JCA due to it being a fourth breach of this rule in the preceding 120 days. At a hearing held today at Addington Raceway the JCA, after hearing evidence tendered by Mr McInerney Jnr (Representing Mr McInerney) and the Stewards reserved their decision.

Judicial Report:
1- Trainer S Phillips requested to have the endorsement removed from HAIDEE BALE per rule( 55 )as this dog has completed 10 clear runs.

This meeting was run under Level 2 Government restrictions and Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid-19 protocols.

Race 1 WELCOME TO HATRICK C2 - C2 - 305 OPAWA MARCIE (1) - stood when the lids lifted and was last into stride by several lengths. Was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
YARN SISTER (2) - handy to the bend when severely tightened and checked back. Lost momentum back to a clear last in the running finishing on to the lure. A Veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
LUCKY SCAR (5) - bumped racing from the start going back a couple of lengths. Was hampered for a couple of strides racing into the bend.
ARTHUR'S CROWN (6) - bumped racing from the start. Checked into the bend before angling outwards across heels making some ground around runners.
BIG TIME BEAT (7) - in the run to the bend angled across onto the shoulder of YARN SISTER severely tightening this runner. Caused himself to be checked losing momentum and ground. Appeared to be uncomfortable in her galloping action on the turn and into the straight. A Veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
Race 2 AON CPF INSURANCE C2 - C2 - 305 COLLECT A DREAM (3) - bumped with SEDGEBROOK COMET racing off the mats.Soon after was was bumped and went in on to heels losing momentum and was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
SEDGEBROOK COMET (4) - bumped with COLLECT A DREAM racing off the mats. Soon after jostled with runners to his outer. Once clear of runners got to the lead and was never headed.
PUNCH ON SCOOBY (5) - soon after the start was dictated across heels being tightened and checked losing ground. Was unable to clear heels racing across the top bend and came back off heels again losing all chance thereafter.
DOTTIE BELL (6) - began awkwardly. was unable to clear heels for some strides. Clipped from behind across the top bend ran wide finishing in the rear at the line.
Race 3 KERNOW CONSTRUCTION C2 - C2 - 520 OPAWA TAI (2) - away well. Severely tightened making contact with the rail racing in to the first turn losing ground. Forced to abruptly check out over heels bumping into MY KHLOE being unable to make ground thereafter. A Veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
MY KHLOE (3) - dwelt at the jump. Jostled soon after and was severely tightened and checked back racing into the first turn. Checked again for a couple of strides as OPAWA TAI checked out over heels.
COSSIE COOPER (4) - angled across towards the first turn. Severely tightening and checking runners to his inner as they raced into the first turn.
GOLDSTAR HADLEE (8) - stood when the lids lifted and was last in to stride by several lengths. He settled back but was unable to make ground thereafter.
Race 4 THE AVENUE KINGSGATE HOTEL,WANGANUI C2 - C2 - 305 ALLEGRO PIPPA (2) - fav- hampered for some strides in the run to the bend as BIGTIME ON TRACK angled across onto her shoulder for some strides. Lost several lengths into the bend and made some ground to the line.
SO SEVERE (5) - hampered racing to the bend when tightened and pushed across onto heels. Was unable to make ground from the midfield thereafter.
IDOL LUCY (6) - jostled racing from the start. Was severely tightened between runners racing into the bend. Raced out wide between runners around the bend to the home straight. Became unbalanced for a stride turning in when out of contention.
OPAWA FLASH (7) - racing into the bend ran up onto heels and checked outwards. Lost ground and was unable to get back into contention.
BIGTIME ON TRACK (9/3) - racing from the start angled across onto the shoulder of ALLEGRO PIPPA. Lost ground when crowded racing into the bend.
Race 5 WWW.RACINGTIPS.CO.NZ C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 BIG TIME FAIRY (1) - settled in the bend the leaders. Was unable to make ground to the line. A veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
BIG TIME JONIE (3) - checked and hit the rail into the bend losing ground. A veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
BIG TIME GWYN (4) - hampered when pushed inwards racing into the bend.Lost ground racing into the top bend when jostling with CHEESE AND CHALK to her outer.
CHEESE AND CHALK (6) - bumped and jostled between runners racing in to the bend.
ALLEGRO FERN (7) - racing to the bend jostled with CHEESE AND CHALK for some strides. racing in to the bend was contacted and went sideways for a few strides . Lost ground wide on to the top bend was unable to make ground to the line.
SEDGEBROOK SALLY (8) - held up for some strides racing into the bend when unable to clear heels.
Race 6 ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C2/3 - C2/3 - 520 ELECTRICAL STORM (3) - began awkwardly. Settled in behind the pace around the first turn.
BIG TIME EDEN (7) - went up with the lids and was last into stride. Unable to clear heels to improve into the first turn. Went to improve wider out when checked into the back straight losing momentum. A Veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
GO GLOW (8) - forced to race widest into and around the first turn.
Race 7 PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C4 - C4 - 520 BIG TIME ROXY (1) - tightened and checked into the first turn recovering to make good ground into the back straight. Raced wide to the far bend made ground to the line.
BIG TIME ODETTE (2) - racing into the first turn was severely crowded and checked. Lost ground then recovered ground into the back straight finishing in the midfield at the line.
CLASSIC RAPPER (5) - racing to the first turn was tightened between runners and forced sideways on an awkward angle into the turn.She recovered ground to race widest into the far bend. Lost ground thereafter finishing in the rear at the line. A Veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
SUB TWENTY THREE (6) - racing to the first turn was checked back from between runners.
BIGTIME LEVI (7) - angled across heels racing from the start. Settled in the rear racing around the first turn. Made some ground in to the far bend where he was checked coming back off heels. Was unable to make ground to the line.
BIG TIME HARPER (8) - angled across to the first turn crowding several runners to her inner for some strides. Went in across the hindquarters of CLASSIC RAPPER causing herself to be checked losing ground back towards the rear.
Race 8 WANGANUI TOYOTA C4/5 - C4/5 - 305 HIP HOP RAPPER (1) - racing handy on the inner when crowded into the bend losing ground.
ARTICULATOR (4) - went up with the lids. Soon after was bumped and unbalanced for a stride as he angled back inwards.
ALLEGRO WILL (5) - tightened and jostled between runners for a couple of strides. Angled outwards into clear ground racing into the bend making good ground to the line.
BIG TIME LEBRON (6) - racing from the start was tightened and checked back between runners. Pushed outwards racing widest into and around the bend.
CRIMINAL JUSTICE (7) - angled across towards the rail racing to the bend crowding runners. Crowded into HIP HOP RAPPER losing some momentum.
Race 9 ACCELL "LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY" C4/5 - C4/5 - 520 BIGTIME ROD (1) - fav- away well led into the first turn. Settled handy on the inner in to the back straight. Drifted in the run across the top bend. Hampered and went back off heels turning in finishing in the rear at the line. Contacted the rail soon after the finish. A veterinary examination found no abnormalities. Stewards will follow up this dogs progress in the coming days.
BIG TIME ANTON (4) - checked into the first turn losing momentum and ground. Bumped with BIGTIME ROD turning in when out of contention.
BIG TIME SETH (6) - settled back and was bumped racing into the first turn. Racing across the top bend angled in across the face of BIGTIME ROD checking this runner.
BIG TIME BABY (9/8) - away well. Forced to race wide throughout as she attempted to make ground around runners. Effort told in the run to the line.
Race 10 FIRST SECURITY C4 - C4 - 305 BEES AND BIRDS (1) - soon after the start attempted to angle outwards. He cost himself some ground as he angled outwards around the bend. Effort told in the run to the line.
EYE FAR (2) - racing from the start he was checked. Jostled and crowded into the bend. Was unable to make ground from the midfield to the line.
BIG TIME FLASH (3) - racing from the start was tightened and jostled for some strides and was dictated outwards coming back off heels into the bend. Racing into the home straight was forced to abruptly check running into BIGTIME HONEY.
BIGTIME PUMA (4) - went up with the lids. Soon after angled across to the rail making good ground thereafter to the line.
BIG TIME BILLIE (5) - fav- racing from the start ran in across the face of BIGTIME PUMA, BIG TIME FLASH and EYE FAR.
WATERLOO GIRL (6) - slow away. Angled inwards and caught heels into the bend running wide. Soon after angled across down to the rail was unable to improve to the line.
BIGTIME HONEY (7) - raced handy into the bend. Hindquarters contacted into the bend ran outwards losing ground. Contact on the home turn when out of contention.
Race 11 LASER PLUMBING C3 - C3 - 305 HARPOON HARRY (1) - away well led towards the bend. Was hampered as BIG TIME FUZZ angled across to the rail and lost momentum and ground shifting back onto RUNNING FREER.
CHOICE SISTER (2) - racing handy towards the inner to the bend. She was forced to check out off heels bumping into BIG TIME HAZEL losing ground.
RUNNING FREER (3) - went up with the lids and was last away by several lengths. Ran onto heels and checked into the bend as a runner came back on him. Made good ground along the inner when running onto heels and checking on the top bend. Lost momentum back to the rear and had trouble clearing heels for several more strides to the home turn.
BIG TIME FUZZ (4) - worked her way to the lead into the bend cutting in across the line of HARPOON HARRY.
DINO THE FOX (6) - vied for the lead into the bend. Ran wide as per his usual racing style covering a fair amount of extra ground to the line.
BIG TIME HAZEL (8) - raced widest to the bend. Attempted to angle across and bumped with CHOICE SISTER going out wider. Was unable to make ground thereafter to the line.
Race 12 BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C3 - C3 - 305 VIKING ASH (1) - settled midfield improved into the home straight was hampered in the latter stages as JUSTA GIFT angled across close to the line.
BIGTIME BANJO (2) - went up in the boxes. Was quickly into stride to lead and was never headed.
WATERLOO PINK (3) - racing wide in to the bend when running on to heels and checking. Losing momentum and raced wide thereafter.
JUSTA GIFT (4) - racing in second position in the run to the line when angling across in the latter stages checking VIKING ASH.
