• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

Secretary/Manager T Music was fined $300.00 after admitting a breach of Rule 62.1 (cc) in that he failed to inform Trainer B Dann that his reserve, TWO BE FRANK, had regained entry in Race 11 thus denying that dog a start.

Race 2	Happy Birthday Jo Hardie Sprint - C2 - 295	PONTIAC PAT (3) - checked by KNOW CRIME early stages losing ground. KNOW CRIME (4) - ran inwards early stages checking PONTIAC PAT and losing ground. TAIERI TERRA (7) - ran wide final bend. BILLY BUDD (8) - slow to jump.
Race 3	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph.0272719588 Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA NIGEL (1) - tightened by OPAWA ROD final bend. ADOBE NINJA (2) - contacted by GOLDSTAR JOURNEY early stages. GOLDSTAR JOURNEY (3) - contacted ADOBE NINJA early stages then ran outwards and was badly checked by outside runners. Checked by TIGGERLONG PAT soon after and ran outwards losing ground. TIGGERLONG PAT (4) - checked by ADOBE JUNIOR early stages. Ran inwards soon after checking GOLDSTAR JOURNEY. Ran very wide first bend. ADOBE JUNIOR (5) - ran inwards early stages checking inside runners. DIAMOND CRUSADE (6) - clear last on jumping. OPAWA ROD (7) - ran inwards final bend tightening OPAWA NIGEL.
Race 4	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C3 - 295	BEES ARE BUZZING (1) - had heels clipped by JINJA ELLIE into bend. CRYSTAL CANDY (5) - contacted by NASSOR back straight. Ran wide home straight. NASSOR (6) - contacted CRYSTAL CANDY back straight. JINJA ELLIE (7) - last on jumping. Checked outwards off heels of BEES ARE BUZZING into bend pushing BASHFUL BUFFY wide. BASHFUL BUFFY (8) - pushed wide by JINJA ELLIE into bend.
Race 5	Happy Birthday Jim Smith Sprint - C2 - 520	DYNA XARVEL (1) - tightened first bend losing ground. Got on heels of YOUNG MASE final bend losing momentum. YOUNG MASE (3) - checked outwards off heels into first bend and checked ORINA ALLEN which fell. Dragged down final bend losing momentum. Jostled with SEFTON JOY home straight. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (4) - slow to jump. Badly hampered by fallen runner first bend losing ground. ORINA ALLEN (5) - tightened by KEA VIKING into bend then checked by YOUNG MASE and fell. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. Stood down for 5 days as per fallen dog policy. KEA VIKING (6) - ran inwards into first bend tightening ORINA ALLEN. SEFTON JOY (8) - pushed wide by YOUNG MASE first bend. Jostled with YOUNG MASE home straight.
Race 6	Kaisa Earthworks Ph.0272073323 Dash - C2 - 295	PRINCE ZULU (1) - raced wide final bend. REGAL JOCK (2) - pushed down the track by PUNTERS KIRSTY back straight then contacted GOLDSTAR WILLA. PUNTERS KIRSTY (4) - ran inwards back straight pushing REGAL JOCK down the track. KING KALI (5) - very slow to jump. Got on heels of GOLDSTAR WILLA on bend. GOLDSTAR WILLA (6) - slow to jump. Contacted by REGAL JOCK back straight and struck rail losing ground. Dragged down soon after dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 7	kiwikiwihounds.co.nz Adoption Stakes - C2 - 520	OUR JOLENE (1) - raced in tight quarters first bend contacting SHERMO BALE in consequence. SHERMO BALE (3) - contacted by OUR JOLENE first bend and became unbalanced pushing runners wide. KNOW CONCLUSION (6) - tightened and pushed wide by SHERMO BALE first bend. Held up leaving back straight and ran outwards in consequence. DYNA MONTY (7) - pushed wide first bend.

JAX JEWEL (2) - slow to jump then pushed down the track by PRINCE ROHIT. PRINCE ROHIT (3) - pushed JAX JEWEL down the track early stages. PLATONIC AFFAIR (4) - checked off heels into bend losing momentum. PUNTERS LAST (5) - contacted HOMEBUSH RAPPER into bend losing momentum. Ran outwards final bend contacting YI FENG. YI FENG (8) - contacted by PUNTERS LAST final bend losing momentum.
