• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols for Level 2.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

1). SEA SPRAY BERT (B Freeman) - completed a satisfactory trial wearing blinkers.

2). MITCHAM DOUG (J McInerney) - stood down to complete a satisfactory trial after an unsatisfactory performance in race 7.

Checked from behind shortly after entering he home straght. JINGILI JILL (3) - boxd first. DELAROCHE (4) - jostled with MITCHAM ROB early stages. Shifted up the track rounding the bend dictating HOMEBUSH IVY wide. MITCHAM ROB (5) - jostled with DELAROCHE early stages. Contacted the hind quarters of HOMEBUSH IVY in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing ground. LADY SOBERS (6) - slow early. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (7) - forced marginally down the track early stages. Obliged to race wide rounding the bend before checking off heels exiting the bend. MULBERRY MINX (8) - brushed with GOLDSTAR HALSEY early stages. Obliged to race wide rounding the bend. Shifted off the heels of HOMEBUSH IVY shortly after entering the home straight causing a check to this greyhound.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Ray Adcock Stakes - C1 - 520	KNOW ANXIETY (1) - placed in restricted room entering the first bend losing momentum. Raced wide exiting the bend. SMOOTH STEP (4) - hind quarters contacted from the outside by NIPPA ENOUGH in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR DAWSON (5) - obliged to check off heels rounding the first bend. NIPPA ENOUGH (7) - contacted the hind quarters of SMOOTH STEP in the run to the first bend.
Race 3	Sandridge Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	CASH A ROO(3) - was a late scratching after being found to be in season at kennelling. GO GREAT (6) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. GHOST MODE (7) - tripped on jumping going down on its nose. MITCHAM RYDER (8) - awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. Further positioned awkwardly rounding the bend losing ground.
Race 4	mayhounds.org.nz Rehoming Group Sprint - C1 - 295	WOULD MY FRIEND (3) - contacted briefly with SEFTON JILL in the run to bend. Raced wide rounding the bend. SEFTON JILL (4) - contacted briefly with WOULD MY FRIEND in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. KNOW FAREWELL (5) - checked inwards off heels early stages. DOUBLE QUEENIE (6) - checked inwards off heels early stages. PARINGI PAM (7) - checked off heels entering the bend losing ground.
Race 5	Clarkson's Sign Studio Dash - C1 - 295	HORSE RANGE OPAL (1) - raced extremely wide exiting the bend. OHOKA CARSEN (2) - climbed on the heels of HOMEBUSH FAIRY rounding the bend losing ground as a consequence. HOMEBUSH FAIRY (3) - checked from behind on two occasions rounding the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MITCHAM OCEAN (4) - bumped down the track early stages by LAKOTA TONKA. LAKOTA TONKA (6) - contacted from the outside early stages being forced down the track onto MITCHAM OCEAN. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend having to check and race wide as a consequence. SOZIN'S AZURE (7) - contacted LAKOTA TONKA early stages forcing this runner down the track onto MITCHAM OCEAN. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (8) - forced to race wide rounding the bend when galloping to the outside of LAKOTA TONKA. Climbed on the heels of HOMEBUSH FAIRY rounding the bend.
Race 6	Springston Hotel Dash - C1 - 295	BOUND UP (3) - slow to jump. TONKAWA (5) - boxed first. HORSE RANGE GOLD (6) - had hind quarters raced on prior to the bend. MITCHAM QUEEN (7) - raced on the hind quarters of HORSE RANGE GOLD prior to the bend. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend having to check.
Race 7	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C1 - 295	THEROUX (3) - jostled with outside runner early stages. GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. ZOLA BLACK (5) - jostled with inside runner early stages. Hampered rounding the bend losing ground. KNOW BURDEN (6) - awkwardly placed on heels early stages. MITCHAM DOUG (8) - stayed wide through the run to the bend. Failed to negotiate the bend racing to the extreme outside of the track losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where no clinical abnormalities were reported and normal reflexes were evident on a basic on track eye examination. Stood down pending a satisfactory trial.
Race 8	Crate & Barrel Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	IMPRESSIVE JAZZ (2) - clipped heels entering the bend. LAKOTA SCOUT (3) - awkwardly positioned on heels rounding the bend losing ground. SEA SPRAY ASH (4) - boxed first. Bumped with KNOCK KNOW HOW on jumping. KNOCKA KNOW HOW (5) - bumped from the inside by SEA SPAY ASH on jumping. Placed in tight quarters and lost ground rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH COMET (6) - had heels clipped entering the bend losing ground. OPAWA TROY (7) - hampered and obliged to race wide rounding the bend.
Race 9	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C1 - 520	BIG TINY (1) - placed in restricted room first bend. COOL HAND LESTER (2) - slow early. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (4) - raced on the shoulder of BIG TINY first bend. DIAMOND DAZZLED (7) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend.
Race 10	Angler's Arms Tavern Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR PERRIE (2) - jostled with JUST STAGGER in the run to the bend. JUST STAGGER (4) - jostled with GOLDSTAR PERRIE in the run to the bend. Jostled briefly with TAIERI TAYLEE TAIERI TAYLEE (5) - began awkwardly taking several strides to find its footing. Hampered when having its racing room tightened prior to the bend. SECOND SUMMER (7) - came up with the lid and settled last.
Race 11	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Dash - C1 - 295	JINJA TONI(1) - was a late scratching at kennelling after being found to have a swollen right front pad. AMURI JOSIE(8) - was a late scratching after being found to be in season at kennelling. GOLDSTAR SPOTTY (2) - lost momentum when placed in restricted room briefly when entering the bend. YAPPY YAP (3) - raced in restricted room rounding the bend. TROUSSEAU (4) - placed GOLDSTAR SPOTTY in restricted room when shifting across its heels entering the bend. PRECIOUS PAYTON (5) - heels clipped in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH DOLPHY (6) - raced briefly on the shoulder of KNOW TACTICS early stages. Clipped the heels of PRECIOUS PAYTON in the run to the bend. KNOW TACTICS (7) - raced briefly on the shoulder of HOMEBUSH DOLPHY early stages.
Race 12	Livamol Sprint - C1 - 295	COSMIC MARTY (7) - was a late scratching after being found to be in season upon retrieval from the kennels. MITCHAM TODDY (3) - slow early stages. DON'T CRY JONI (4) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Checked outwards off heels exiting the bend.
