Race 3	Kolorful Kanvas Stakes - C0 - 520	NIGHTHAWK FRENZY (1) - shifted up the track marginally prior to the first bend placing JAM PACKED in some difficulty before colliding with MY MERIT. JAM PACKED (3) - squeezed for racing room prior to the first bend. MY MERIT (4) - contacted from the inside by NIGHTHAWK FRENZY prior to the first bend. SEA SPRAY BERT (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend checking outwards and racing wide.
Race 4	Flair Maiden Sprint Heat 2 - C0q - 295 Heat 2	HOMEBUSH MACHO - was subjected to a post kenneling Veterinary examination and past fit to race. ADOBE SPINNER (3) - squeezed early checking inwards off the heels of TWEET ABOUT IT. SMASH ZONE (4) - considerably slow early. HOMEBUSH MACHO (5) - contacted ADOBE SPINNER early stages. AMURI EXPRESS (6) - dictated wide before climbing on heels rounding the bend losing ground. TAIERI FINN (7) - checked early stages when awkwardly placed to the inside of CUBBY KEV. CUBBY KEV (8) - shifted down the track abruptly through the early stages. Shifted up the track and dragged down by AMURI EXPRESS rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 5	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	OHOKA MEGAN (5) - boxed first. Collided with OPAWA GYPSY early stages. ADOBE BRO (6) - impeded from the outside early stages. MAKING NEWS (7) - shifted down the track early stages impeding inside runners.
Race 6	Flair Maiden Sprint Heat 3 - C0q - 295 Heat 3	ROMEO (1) - turned its head outwards on jumping whilst free of interference. Straightened and collided with GOLDSTAR HARLOW shortly afterwards. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was found to be lame in its right wrist with a 14 day stand down recommended not withstanding this the greyhound was stood down for Failing to Pursue the Lure. This dog was again presented on 13 August and found to have a triceps injury with a 21 days stand down recommended. HADES (2) - slow early. GOLDSTAR HARLOWE (3) - collided with ROMEO early stages. HOMEBUSH SUGAR (5) - checked from behind entering the bend. TAIERI MIST (6) - hampered early stages. Climbed on heels entering the bend losing momentum. OPAWA BAILEY (7) - dictated down the track early stages. ADOBE TURTLE (8) - shifted down the track early stages impeding inside runners. Hampered rounding the bend.
Race 7	A2C Asphalt 2 Concrete Ph.0800222583 Stakes - C1 - 520	GOLDSTAR DAWSON (1) - jostled with JOE BONANZA in the run to the first bend. RIVALRIES (2) - slow early. Checked off heels first turn losing ground. JOE BONANZA (3) - jostled with GOLDSTAR DAWSON in the run to the first bend. Collided with OPAWA SOLOMON first turn. LITTLE SECRET (4) - boxed first. JUST PEACHES (1) - jostled briefly with OPAWA NASh prior to the bend. OPAWA NASH (2) - jostled briefly with JUST PEACHES prior to the bend. GOLDSTAR PERRIE (4) - jostled briefly with HOMEBUSH BODEN in the run to the bend. GHOST MODE (5) - obliged to check off heels entering the bend.
