Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT:

Christchurch GRC - Monday 6th July 2020. A defended hearing was held at Addington Raceway on the 24th July in relation to a charge under GRNZ rule 62.1(o) alleging Handler J McInerney Jnr had boxed his Greyhound (MITCHAM QUEEN) in an improper manner by failing to do so at the instruction of starter Mr G McCormick and as a consequence caused an undue delay in the lure driver being signaled to activate the lure. The JCA, after viewing all available film and taking into account the evidence produced by all parties, found Mr McInerney guilty of the charge and imposed a fine of $200.00.

Race 3	My Redeemer Distance - C2d - 645	CLASSY WITCH (2) - contacted by AMY LAURA first bend losing ground. Again contacted by AMY LAURA soon after. AMY LAURA (4) - ran inwards first bend contacting CLASSY WITCH. Ran inwards soon after and was checked by CLASSY WITCH losing ground. Jostled with TRANSLATION late in run home when well back. TRANSLATION (6) - hampered first bend as CLASSY WITCH lost ground dropping to rear. Jostled with AMY LAURA late in run home when well back.
Race 4	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C3 - 295	HENDRIX BALE (2) - ran outwards back straight checking MR MUPPET. Had heels clipped into bend losing ground. MR MUPPET (3) - checked by HENDRIX BALE back straight losing ground. RING CLOWN (4) - pushed down the track by COME A GUSTER back straight losing ground. COME A GUSTER (5) - ran inwards back straight pushing RING CLOWN down the track. Got on heels into bend then badly checked losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. OPA'S MATE (6) - last on settling. MINE HUNTER (7) - ran wide final bend. CRYSTAL CILLA (8) - badly checked and turned sideways into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
