Race 1	SOUTHLAND & OTAGO PHOTO FINISH - SPECA - 390	MELTING WORLD (2) - boxed first. Contacted from the outside by GALIFIANAKIS in the run to the bend. DREAM STONE JADE (3) - slow early stages. GALIFIANAKIS (4) - contacted MELTING WORLD in the run to the bend. THREE GOLD STARS (7) - slow early stages. PUKEKO MAGIC (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the bend losing balance for a stride and subsequently lost ground.
Race 2	www.southlandgreyhounds.co.nz - INV - 390	BRUT MAGIC (1) - obligated to check off heels entering the bend when placed in tight quarters by TREV'S ROCKET. Jostled briefly with TIDAL TAPESTRY prior to the finish. TREV'S ROCKET (2) - contacted from the outside by TIDAL TAPESTRY on jumping. TIDAL TAPESTRY (3) - collided with TREV'S ROCKET on jumping bouncing of this runner out onto VIGNON, became unbalanced and lost momentum as a consequence. Jostled briefly with BRUT MAGIC prior to the finish. VIGNON (4) - placed in restricted room after being contacted by firstly VIGNON then JUST OLIVE early stages. JUST OLIVE (5) - came inwards abruptly on jumping contacting VIGNON and losing its front feet of a stride subsequently losing ground. Placed in tight quarters prior to the finish. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 3	ADDED ENERGY STAKES - SPECA - 457	C'MON BENNY BOY (1) - raced on the shoulder of VOLCANIC WHISPER for a brief period in the run to the bend. VOLCANIC WHISPER (2) - raced in restricted room in the run to the bend after being obliged to race on the shoulder of C'MON BENNY BOY. SILOUETTE JET (4) - jostled briefly with BARTHOLOMEW CUB in the run to the bend. PEPPER CHIMES (5) - hind quarters contacted by VOLCANIC WHISPER when shifting down the track in the run to the bend. BARTHOLOMEW CUB (8) - jostled briefly with SILOUETTE JET in the run to the bend.
Race 4	FIND US ON TWITTER@SGRCINFO - C1/5 - 390	ROCKY VINCITORE (1) - placed in restricted room between TEE AN' CEE and the running rail when entering the bend and had to steady losing ground. Bumped MAGIC JEAN LASS up the track exiting the bend. TEE AN' CEE (2) - lost momentum briefly when racing between greyhounds entering the bend. MAGIC JEAN LASS (3) - contacted from the outside by CHASING FAME on jumping. Hampered by the checked ROCKY VINCITORE entering the bend before being bumped outwards exiting the bend. CHASING FAME (4) - made contact with MAGIC JEAN LASS on jumping and lost balance for a stride. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. DUSTY'S INK (6) - slow early. Obliged to race wide entering the bend. Hampered when racing to the outside of MAGIC JEAN LASS exiting the bend. MAGIC JESS LASS (7) - briefly shouldered with GOLDSTAR TROOPER early stages. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the bend. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (8) - briefly shouldered with MAGIC JESS LASS early stages.
