COINTREAU TIME (2) - Impeded and lost balance for a stride when awkwardly positioned to the inside of COSMIC MARTY. Lost momentum rounding the bend when placed between runners. LAKOTA SCOUT (3) - checked and held up for racing room rounding the bend. Awkwardly placed on the hind quarters of COLD AFFAIR in the run to the finish before clipping its heels and failing to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to be lame in its left hind leg. COSMIC MARTY (4) - shifted down the track in the run to the bend impeding the racing line of COINTREAU TIME. TAIERI BREEZE (5) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. |

Hampered exiting the bend.Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH CAPTAIN (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of GOLDSTAR GALAXIE rounding the bend losing momentum. Lost further momentum when again awkwardly placed exiting the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have pain to its right wrist. |

| Race 9 | Swimming Goat @ Stud Stakes - C1/2 - 520 | SEFTON JOY (1) - shifted up the track exiting the bend dictating HOMEBUSH FONZIE wide. OPAWA LYN (3) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with MR BLACKJACK. Obliged to shift off heels in the run to the first bend. KNOW TALENT (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Lost momentum when placed on heels entering the first bend. MR BLACKJACK (5) - contacted from the inside early stages by OPAWA LYN losing balance and ground. OPAWA NOVA (6) - contacted from the outside on jumping by RIVALRIES. RIVALRIES (7) - bumped with OPAWA NOVA on jumping before shifting outwards across the heels of OPAWA DAN. HOMEBUSH FONZIE (9/2) - boxed first. Forced wide exiting the bend. Stewards questioned the improved performance of this greyhound with the connections reporting that it had benefited by the extra box work it had undergone during the week resulting in it jumping quicker than at its most previous start and race on the pace. Given this the kennel were not surprised by its enhanced performance. |
