Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

JUDICIAL:

1) Stewards conducted checks on vehicles used for the purpose of transporting Greyhounds to and from the race meeting tonight with compliance orders issued to several trainers.

2) There was a 16 minute delay to the start of Race 6 due to a communication break down with Raceday Control. There was a 3 minute delay to Race 7 due to the delay in the previous event.

3) There was a delay in the start time of Race 9 due to the wire rope needing to be replaced following Race 8. There was a further delay to the start time of Race 10 with the new start time being 9.21pm.

FUNZALO (2) - squeezed BIGTIME STELLA at the start. Bumped shortly after the start, in turn bumping DOOMSDAY. Bumped again nearing the bend, in turn bumping DOOMSDAY on several occasions. BIGTIME STELLA (3) - squeezed between runners at the start, losing ground as a result. Awkwardly placed and inconvenienced behind runners nearing the bend, losing some ground and then checked from behind entering the bend, stumbling and almost falling. Out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. IDOL DUKE (4) - began awkwardly. SEDGEBROOK SALLY (5) - tightened at the start. Checked BIGTIME STELLA from behind entering the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing ground. SUB TWENTY THREE (6) - brushed DOOMSDAY entering the bend. BIGTIME LEO (7) - tightened SEDGEBROOK SALLY at the start, then squeezed BIGTIME STELLA. Bumped FUNZALO shortly after the start, then again nearing the bend.
Race 2	Accell Leading The Way In Canine Therapy C4/C5 - C4/5 - 520	BIGTIME BRODY (1) - raced wide through the latter stages of the back straight. BIG TIME MAPLE (2) - raced wide through the home straight. BIGTIME BRUNO (5) - contacted nearing the first bend. Raced wide through the back straight. BIG TIME SETH (6) - contacted BIGTIME BRUNO nearing the first bend. Tightened BIGTIME ARCHIE entering the back straight, becoming momentarily unbalanced. BIGTIME ARCHIE (7) - brushed BIG TIME KOBE at the start. Tightened entering the back straight, losing some ground as a result. BIG TIME KOBE (8) - brushed BIGTIME ARCHIE at the start.
Race 3	Palamountain's Scientific Nutrition C2 - C2 - 520	COSSIE COOPER (1) - bumped on the point of the first bend. Jostled, briefly, with BIG TIME ODETTE through the latter stages of the back straight. BIG TIME ODETTE (2) - bumped COSSIE COOPER on the point of the first bend. Jostled, briefly, with COSSIE COOPER through the latter stages of the back straight. ZIPPING LUTHER (3) - slow away. Contacted from behind entering the final bend, losing some ground. BIGTIME DAISY (5) - raced wide through the back straight. BIGTIME ALFIE (6) - contacted shortly after the start. Bumped BIG TIME HARPER on the point of the first bend. Raced wide through the back straight. Contacted ZIPPING LUTHER from behind entering the final bend. Raced wide through the early stages of the home straight. BIGTIME BAILEY (7) - bumped at the start. Race 4	Hatrick Supporter's Club C3/C4 - C3/4 - 305	BIG TIME LEBRON (3) - began awkwardly. Buffeted TOCA MADERA entering the bend. BEES AND BIRDS (5) - moved up the track at the start, squeezing SEDGEBROOK LOVER. Tightened downwards onto SEDGEBROOK LOVER nearing the bend. Unbalanced entering the bend, checking SO SEVERE. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. SEDGEBROOK LOVER (6) - squeezed between runners at the start. Tightened nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced and losing some ground. Raced wide through the home straight. TOCA MADERA (7) - slow away. Buffeted entering the bend. SO SEVERE (8) - squeezed SEDGEBROOK LOVER at the start. Tightened BEES AND BIRDS nearing the bend. Checked entering the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries.
Race 5	Wanganui Toyota C2/C3 - C2/3 - 520	NOVO OLLIE (1) - jostled, briefly, with DAPPER RAPPER nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Tightened entering the first bend, needing to check over heels and in doing so checked DAPPER RAPPER. FIFI (2) - awkwardly placed behind runners entering the first bend. BIGTIME TANK (4) - received interference entering the first bend, in turn checking BIG TIME EDEN. BIG TIME TRAE (6) - checked and fell entering the first bend. Regained his feet and completed the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed superficial abrasions, with a stand down under the fallen Greyhound protocol. BIG TIME EDEN (7) - checked entering the first bend, becoming unbalanced and almost falling, in turn checking both BIG TIME TRAE and BIGTIME LEVI. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIGTIME LEVI (8) - checked entering the first bend, needing to jump fallen runner. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME SPOT (9/5) - tightened NOVO OLLIE entering the first bend. Raced wide through the back straight. DAPPER RAPPER (10/3) - jostled, briefly, with NOVO OLLIE nearing the winning post on the first occasion. Checked entering the first bend, causing interference to BIGTIME TANK.
Race 6	Kernow Construction C4 - C4 - 520	There was a delay of 16 minutes to the start of this race due to a communication break down between the track and Raceday Control. BIGTIME BRET (3) - raced wide through the back straight. BIG TIME CHAD (4) - tightened BIG TIME MAC entering the final bend. BIG TIME MAC (6) - tightened entering the final bend, needing to check off heels. Bumped from behind entering the home straight. BIG TIME ANTON (7) - began awkwardly. Bumped BIG TIME MAC from behind entering the home straight. BIG TIME BABY (8) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 7	Hatrick Function Centre C4/C5 - C4/5 - 305	There was a 3 minute delay to the start of this race due to the delay in the previous. BIG TIME JONIE (1) - bumped BIGTIME EMJAY nearing the bend. Placed in restricted room entering the bend, checking across heels and colliding and tangling with BIGTIME EMJAY and was out of contention thereafter. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. BIG TIME FAIRY (2) - tightened nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced and placing BIG TIME JONIE in restricted room. BIG TIME KEVIN (3) - slow away. BIGTIME ZIGGY (5) - tightened shortly after the start. Bumped BIG TIME PLUTO nearing the bend. BIG TIME PLUTO (6) - bumped nearing the bend. Inconvenienced and forced to race momentarily wider entering the bend as a result of fallen runner to its inside. Raced wide through the early stages of the home straight. BIGTIME EMJAY (7) - tightened BIGTIME ZIGGY shortly after the start. Bumped nearing the bend. Collided and tangled with BIG TIME JONIE entering the bend, then fell. Regained his feet and completed the race. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain in right carpal and left hock. ALLEGRO CURTIS (8) - tightened BIG TIME FAIRY nearing the bend.

GOTCHA MARSHALL (2) - very slow away, settling several lengths at the rear of the field before making ground along the rail. Checked across heels nearing the home straight. VIKING ASH (4) - squeezed IDOL MEGHAN nearing the bend. Tightened nearing the home straight, needing to check across heels to gain clear racing room. Raced wide through the home straight.
