• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

JUDICIAL REPORT:

PLATINUM PAISLEY (J Dunn) failed to pursue the lure during Race 2 but was found to have a serious injury and must complete a Satisfactory Trial before resuming.

OPAWA WAIHEMO (4) - tightened into bend losing ground. SONJA (6) - tightened early stages losing ground. Forced wide around bend. NO KISSY MISSY (8) - raced wide final bend.
Race 2	Happy 30th Birthday Andy McCook Sprint - C4 - 295	ULYSSA BALE (3) - ran outwards into bend pushing GOLDSTAR TROOPER wider. WILDEBEEST (4) - ran wide final bend. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (5) - pushed wide by ULYSSA BALE into bend. HOMEBUSH ALEXEI (7) - contacted KIWI GUNN early stages losing ground. KIWI GUNN (8) - contacted HOMEBUSH ALEXEI early stages losing ground. PLATINUM PAISLEY (9/2) - turned head outwards free of interference final bend. Assessed by vet and found to have a wrist injury with a 21 day stand down imposed. Ordered to complete a Satisfactory Trial.
Race 3	Swimming Goat @ Stud Sprint - C5 - 295	COUNTRY GENT (2) - got on heels on bend and ran outwards losing ground. MEMOIR (3) - tightened into bend losing ground. AMURI LIV (4) - last in early stages. Checked outwards off heels for a stride on bend. BECK ELEVEN (5) - badly dragged down on bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse And Hound Stakes - C3 - 520	CLASSY WITCH (2) - dragged down for a stride into first bend then angled outwards checking VIKING MAFIA. Raced wide final turn. HOMEBUSH FONZIE (4) - clear last on jumping. Got on heels of ORINA ALLEN first bend and ran very wide in consequence losing chance. ORINA ALLEN (5) - contacted by QUINCY BALE early stages. Got on heels into first bend. Had heels clipped by HOMEBUSH FONZIE first bend then was turned sideways when contacting CREME BRULEE soon after. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. QUINCY BALE (6) - ran inwards contacting ORINA ALLEN early stages. VIKING MAFIA (7) - checked and turned sideways by CLASSY WITCH first bend becoming unbalanced. CREME BRULEE (8) - checked first bend when contacting hind quarters of ORINA ALLEN.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Dash - C4 - 295	BLACK ROUNDER (2) - tightened into bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH MONKEY (3) - checked from behind on bend dropping to rear. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. IT'S A JOKE (4) - last on jumping. SMASH WILD (5) - pushed down the track by MACHINE GUNN back straight. MACHINE GUNN (6) - ran inwards back straight pushing SMASH WILD down the track. KNOW SHAME (8) - raced wide final bend.
Race 6	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C4 - 520	OPAWA TODDY (1) - contacted GOLDSTAR MAUNEY first bend as it improved to that runner's inside. GOLDSTAR MAUNEY (2) - contacted first bend as OPAWA TODDY improved to its inside. Checked outwards entering back straight pushing OPAWA NAT wider. OPAWA SLICK (4) - raced wide final bend. XABIL BALE (5) - checked outwards off heels first bend. Raced wide home straight. KNOW THREAT (7) - slow to jump. Pushed wide by XABIL BALE first bend. Again pushed wide entering back straight. Assessed by vet and found to have a puncture wound to a shoulder. OPAWA NAT (8) - had heels clipped first bend. Pushed wide by GOLDSTAR MAUNEY entering back straight. Got on heels leaving back straight losing momentum. TRANSLATION (9/6) - slow to jump.
Race 7	Amber Cleaning Services Sprint - C5 - 295	SHAW LEE (1) - ran outwards into bend contacting OPAWA OSCAR. JUST IZZY (2) - assessed by vet after an incident at the lure and cleared of injury. SPEEDY BOSS (3) - slow in early stages. Tightened in back straight dropping to rear. OPAWA OSCAR (4) - slow in early stages. Contacted by SHAW LEE into bend losing ground. LITTLE KRAKATOA (6) - raced wide final turn. CULVIE NESS (7) - assessed by vet after an incident at the lure and cleared of injury. OAKMONT (8) - ran wide home straight.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C5 - 295	SELECT TRICK (2) - ran wide final bend. CALM INFERNO (3) - pushed down the track by FRIZZLED early stages. Got on heels final bend losing momentum. FRIZZLED (4) - ran inwards early stages pushing CALM INFERNO down the track. OPAWA VINNY (5) - slow in early stages. PITA RAMOS (8) - ran wide final turn.
Race 9	My Redeemer Distance - C2d - 645	MIGHTY MUSCLE (1) - ran outwards in first straight. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (2) - slow to jump. Ran outwards final bend. LONGSHANKS (3) - last in early stages after getting on heels when running outwards. Raced wide through middle stages. DYNA DAVE (7) - raced wide in first straight after MIGHTY MUSCLE has shifted outwards. Again pushed wide by GOLDSTAR SYDNEY final bend.
