Track: Good Track was presented in a very good racing condition being well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.
Scales: Correct at all weights
Health and Safety comment: All clear.

Judicial report: Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

1- Trainer W Kite applied to the Stewards to have the endorsement cancelled for WATERLOO PINK # 9 race 12 as this dog has completed 10 clear runs.

2- OPAWA JODY # 5 race 7 ( M Flipp ) has been stood down 28 days and to the completion of a satisfactory trial rule 55.1b failing to pursue the lure.

3- GRUNTY MAMA ( S Blackburn ) has been removed from the box 1st list after having no issues with loading in recent starts and will be monitored going forward.

Race 1 Gary Ross Decorators C0 - C0 - 305 IDOL LEO (1) - hampered for some strides in the run to the bend tightened and jostled was able to keep up a strong gallop to clear runners in to the lead .
IDOL LUCY (2) - hampered in the run to the bend when tightened and jostled from the outer for some strides
GARRERA (3) - tightened back and caught heels soon after the start then angled inwards racing in to the bend was forced to abruptly check out over heels contacting the hindquarters of ALLEGRO PIPPA going out wide in to AHUROA LADY causing severe checks to both runners a veterinary examination found mild pain on palpation of the right hock and over metatarsals.
AHUROA LADY (4) - soon after the start was jostled between runners for several strides caught heels and became unbalanced in to the bend going outwards in to BIG TIME BOOTS was then contacted hard from his inner being severely checked finishing in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found a webbing punture on the near fore no stand down required.
BIG TIME JEWEL (7) - racing to the bend she angled in across face of several runners causing tightening and jostling
BIG TIME BOOTS (8) - dwelt at the jump contacted and pushed widest and was checked in to the bend losing ground was unable to improve thereafter.
Race 2 Aon Insurance C0 - C0 - 305 ALEMAIN PUDLEY was a late scratching prior to leaving for the track.
BIG TIME JIMMY (2) - handy in to the bend when tightened and checked going back a couple of lengths checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to make ground thereafter
OMA RAPETI (4) - tightened back soon after the start contact and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground finishing in the rear at the line.
CAVE WITCH (7) - contact racing from the start angled across between runners in to the bend contacting OMA RAPETI causing herself to be checked.
JACK MARJEN (8) - contact at the start and was slow in to stride hampered in to the bend as CAVE WITCH checked outwards losing momentum and ground.
Race 3 Palamountain's Scientific Nutrition C1 - C1 - 305 IDOL WILSON (1) - handy on the inner to the bend when running on to heels as runner came back going back several lengths recovered ground to race handy thereafter.
YASAWA LIGHTS (2) - fav- began awkwardly for a stride or so settled in to midfield in to the bend became awkwardly placed avoiding heels becoming unbalanced running wide before angling inwards nearing the home turn finishing in the midfield at the line.
JAMBOREE (3) - racing handy when checked in to the bend going back on following runner losing ground back through the field was unable to improve thereafter.
WEBBER COME (5) - angled across in to the bend tightening runners to his inner.
BIG TIME RICKY (7) - went up with the lids.
GOLDSTAR AUBURN (8) - went up with the lids and was slow in to stride.
Race 4 Kernow Construction C0 - C0 - 305 ALLEGRO TIGGER (3) - crowded soon after the start being tightened and jostled between runners tightened and checked in to the bend becoming unbalanced checking out extremely wide losing all chance thereafter.
KAY TUESSO (4) - crowded and jostled in the early stages tightened back off heels tightened and checked back losing ground racing wide in to the bend was unable to make ground thereafter.
THAT'S FRANK (5) - racing to the bend attempted to angle across causing tightening to runners to his inner for several strides.
FIRECRACKER (6) - racing midfield when checked in to the bend settled midfield could not improve to the line.
BIG TIME ROXY (7) - fav- dwelt and was last in to stride looped the field racing in to the bend was never headed thereafter.
Race 5 Wanganui Toyota C1 - C1 - 520 STORMY JAY (1) - handy when tightened in to making contact with the rail and went back racing in to the first turn was unable to get in to contention thereafter a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
ROWDY RUBY (3) - handy in to the first turn soon after led towards the home turn where she came together with GRUNTY MAMA jostling with this runner for some strides. a veterinary examination found no abnormalities
ESTER (5) - angled across towards the rail soon after the start over compensating and made hard contact with the rail and was unable to improve from the rear a veterinary examination found no abnormlities.
GRUNTY MAMA (6) - jumped away well hampered for some strides when racing between runners around the first turn improved to race outside the leader in to the far bend hampered racing in to the home straight when coming together and jostling with ROWDY RUBY .
Race 6 Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1 - 305 ALWAYS DIZZY (1) - checked and lost ground racing in to the bend unable to get in to contention thereafter.
STAR WAY (2) - went up with the lids settled back unable to make ground thereafter.
PICK A PASCAL (5) - worked his way to the lead in to the bend hung on in the run to the line- first race start for 7 months after being re- registered ran 2nd re qualifying trial and a forward showing was expected from the kennels.
BIGTIME DEAN (6) - dwelt and was slow away settled back raced wide in to and around the bend finishing in the rear at the line.
CHECKPOINT (8) - angled inwards in to the bend then angled out to race widest finishing in the midfield at the line.
Race 7 Guthrie Bowron C1 - C1 - 305 DOUBLE CHANGE (3) - crowded and checked back off heels in to the bend.
BIGTIME COCO (4) - lead to nearing the home turn when contacted and jostled coming back off hindquarters losing a length or so challenged again on the outer and was hampered just short of the line being narrowly beaten.
OPAWA JODY (5) - trailed the leader to nearing the home turn where she moved outwards in to the shoulder of BIGTIME COCO coming together and jostling for a few strides, in the run to the line OPAWA JUDY eased and angled outwards turning her head outwards towards BIGTIME COCO for at least 4 strides to the line, a veterinary examination found. a superficial laceration under the left fore dew claw - OPAWA JODY has been stood down ( failing to pursue ) 1st offence.
AHUROA PRINCE (6) - contact soon after the start and dictated outwards angled down to the rail racing in to the bend improved towards the leaders across the top bend angled outwards on the home turn becoming very unbalanced stumbling and was uncomfortable thereafter to the line dropping out to the rear a veterinary examination found.bruising & pain inner surface of stifle & muscular pain.
SIDELINE SALLY (8) - angled across in to the bend contacting and jostling with DOUBLE CHANGE .
Race 8 Accell Leading The Way In Canine Therapy C1 - C1 - 305 ALAMEIN GRAEME (1) - dwelt at the jump improved along the inner hampered for a couple of strides when clipped from behind racing on to the top bend finishing in the midfield at the line.
SOFTY BURGESS (2) - jumped best angling across towards the rail to the lead was never headed thereafter.
CHOICE LASS (3) - dwelt at the jump then angled outwards across heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention thereafter.
ZARA FAB (4) - jostled for some strides when caught between runners in the run towards the bend.
IDOL ZIGGY (5) - crowded and jostled between runners towards the bend held up for several strides when unable to clear across the top bend losing momentum and ground finishing back of midfield at the line. finishing
WIFI ROBYN (6) - raced widest when improving towards the leaders in the run around the bend in to the home straight.
BIGTIME KYLIE (8) - jumped well angled across to lead to the bend where she faltered and went back through the field finishing in the rear at the line a veterinary examination found pain on compression of right carpus
Race 9 First Security C1 - C1 - 305 BIGTIME FRED (2) - soon after the start was crowded and tightened back from between runners going back towards the rear was unable to make ground thereafter.
BRIGHT CONCEPT (5) - jostled between runners for several strides in to the bend settled midfield unable to improve from there.
ELSA BLUEBLOOD (6) - hampered for some strides when jostled in to the bend
IDOL JAN (8) - raced in and around the bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running.
Race 10 Laser Plumbing C1 - C1 - 520 YOUNG DUMB BROKE (1) - away well handy in to the first turn when crowded and tightened going back and was checked as OPAWA LARA ran in to and over her hindquarters and she was unable to make ground thereafter a veterinary examination found no abnormalities.
BIGTIME AVA (3) - vying for the lead in the run towards the back straight and was checked as runner to her outer
OPAWA LARA (4) - settled back on the inner towards he first turn was forced to abruptly check up on to the hindquarters of YOUNG DUMB BROKE as this runner was checked ahead OPAWA LARA lost momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention a veterinary examination found.no abnormalities.
BIG TIME ROONIE (5) - severely tightened in the run in to the first turn running in to the back of MY KHLOE and checking BIGTIME BAILEY to his outer was left in clear running to soon after lead and was run down in the run to the line.
BIGTIME BAILEY (6) - fav- racing in tight quarters in to the first turn when bumped and checked outwards in to OPAWA TAI was then in clear ground improving to finish best in the run to the line.
MY KHLOE (7) - vying for the lead in to the first turn when contacted from behind and went sideways for a stride or so.
OPAWA TAI (8) - racing widest in to the first turn when bumped and checked outwards losing some ground finishing in to midfield at the line.
Race 11 Adept Accountants C1 - C1 - 305 NUCLEAR JEWEL (3) - soon after the star twas crowded in between runners and jostled for some strides in the run in to the bend finishing in midfield at the line.
HOMEBUSH KEASHA (4) - in the run to the bend was crowded and jostled for some strides between runners going in behind runners jostling with NUCLEAR JEWEL racing in to the bend.
BIG TIME ROSE (5) - in the run to the bend was crowded and jostled between runners for several strides clipping heels and unbalancing as she went back attempted to make ground around the bend and to the line.
SEDGEBROOK COMET (7) - soon after the start was tightened and jostled between runners for some strides going back and checking out over heels to race widest in to around the bend and raced widest
JACKS POINT (8) - angled across soon after the start causing tightening and jostling to runners to his inner for several strides
Race 12 CPF Insurance C2 - C2 - 305 JUSTA GIFT (2) - dictated outwards from the jump being tightened and jostled between runners for some strides
FINAL STRAW (3) - came out off heels in to the bend and was checked when run in to from behind running wide and lost all chance thereafter.
FREE THINKER (4) - hampered when forced to check out over heels in to the bend running wide losing all chance thereafter.
HASHTAG BLESSED (5) - began awkwardly for a stride or so angled across towards the rail made some ground in the run to the line.
SEDGEBROOK SALLY (6) - fav- bumped and jostled for some strides in the run to the bend
COOKIE BISCUIT (8) - checked in to the bend and went extremely wide when running in to the hind of FINAL STRAW as this runner came out in to his racing line losing all chance thereafter.
WATERLOO PINK (9/1) - ran outwards from the jump causing severe tightening and being turned sideways for some strides before straightening for the run in to the bend.
