TWO BE FRANK (6) - ran outwards concluding stages. COSMIC JASE (7) - ran inwards into bend pushing WOULD MY FRIEND down the track. BELFAST DEMO (8) - ran inwards late in run home crowding WOULD MY FRIEND.
Race 2	Culvie Boy's Syndicate Dash - C2 - 295	KNOW LOGIC (1) - badly tightened and brushed rail into bend after GOLDSTAR HALSEY had run inwards. Pushed wide home straight. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. LAKOTA TONKA (2) - tightened into bend and lost ground as GOLDSTAR HALSEY ran inwards. Checked outwards off heels final bend losing momentum. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (3) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runners. SMASH DRAGON (6) - raced wide final bend. MITCHAM MANERING (7) - slow in early stages.
Race 3	Clarkson Sign Studio Dash - C2 - 295	SECOND SUMMER (2) - clear last on jumping. OPAWA JAWS (3) - tightened into bend losing ground. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (5) - tightened into bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH ZACK (8) - checked into bend losing ground.
Race 4	Kaikanui Tavern Sprint - C2 - 295	IMPRESSIVE HIGH (4) - slow in early stages. ABSENT (6) - checked on bend losing ground then bumped with PUNCH ON JESSIE on final bend. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. PUNCH ON JESSIE (7) - pushed wide around bend. Bumped with ABSENT on final bend. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. PRINCE ZULU (8) - got on heels on bend losing momentum.
Race 5	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C3 - 295	STARR BLUEBLOOD (3) - ran outwards early stages. Contacted on bend losing momentum. Ran outwards final turn pushing NO KISSY MISSY wider. HOMEBUSH STASSER (6) - contacted by NO KISSY MISSY early stages checked by outside runners early stages. NO KISSY MISSY (7) - ran inwards early stages contacting HOMEBUSH STASSER then ran outwards pushing STARBURST GEORGE wider. Pushed wide by STARR BLUEBLOOD final turn. STARBURST GEORGE (8) - pushed wide by NO KISSY MISSY in back straight.
Race 6	Active Electrical Christchurch Stakes - C2 - 520	JOE BONANZA (3) - had heels clipped by DYNA MONTY first bend. DYNA MONTY (4) - contacted by REPLICA RANGO early stages. Checked outwards off heels of JOE BONANZA first bend. GOLDSTAR YANKEE (5) - tightened between runners early stages dropping to rear. Badly tightened and fell into first bend. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury but stood down for 5 days as per GRNZ policy. REPLICA RANGO (6) - ran inwards early stages contacting DYNA MONTY. Tightened by MIGHTY MUSCLE into first bend losing ground. MIGHTY MUSCLE (7) - angled inwards into first bend tightening inside runners.
Race 7	Swimming Goat At Stud Dash - C2 - 295	SMASH SURPRISE (1) - assessed by vet after an incident at lure and cleared of injury. PUNCH ON SCOOBY (2) - tightened into bend by MITCHAM GOLDIE losing ground then had heels clipped by HOMEBUSH JORDIE. Raced wide concuding stages. MAFFRA DAISY (4) - ran outwards early stages. MITCHAM GOLDIE (5) - tightened early stages losing ground. Ran inwards into bend tightening PUNCH ON SCOOBY. ETERNAL DEBT (6) - contacted early stages. Checked outwards off heels final bend and ran very wide in consequence. HOMEBUSH JORDIE (7) - ran inwards early stages. Got on heels on bend losing momentum.
Race 8	Springston Hotel Dash - C2 - 295	M'LADY SADIE (2) - slow to jump. Forced wide final bend. JEALOUS AFFAIR (3) - assessed by vet after being dragged down at lure with no injury detected. KNOW APPROVAL (4) - slow to jump. EPIC ROSE (5) - contacted by GOLDSTAR FLORA on bend then became awkwardly placed between runners on final turn dropping to rear. HOMEBUSH REHAINA (6) - raced wide final bend. GOLDSTAR FLORA (8) - ran inwards on bend contacting EPIC ROSE becoming unbalanced.
