Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

• In accordance with GRNZ Rule 48.9(a), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

JUDICIAL:

1) SOFTY BURGESS (L Cole) successfully completed a satisfactory trial as required (note: without blinkers).

Awkwardly placed behind runners shortly after the start, losing some momentum. GARRERA (6) - bumped at the start. Pushed up the track, then squeezed shortly after the start. Checked across heels entering the bend, bumping AHUROA WHIZZ from behind. Raced wide through the home straight. MY EMMETT (7) - bumped GARRERA at the start. Tightened nearing the bend, checking off heels and moving up the track. A post race veterinary examination being carried out which revealed no injuries. AHUROA WHIZZ (8) - bumped MY EMMETT at the start. Bumped from behind and dragged, losing ground entering the bend. Contacted from behind entering the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. DONNY (9/2) - checked TELLTALE SIGNS at the start. Moved up the track shortly after the start pushing GARRERA up the track. Checked off heels entering the home straight, contacting AHUROA WHIZZ from behind. Raced wide through the home straight.
Race 2	Palamountain's Scientific Nutrition C0 - C0 - 305	FIRECRACKER (1) - tightened nearing the bend, becoming unbalanced, moving up the track and inconveniencing DERRY BLUES, BIG TIME GOLDIE and OMA RAPETI, then stumbling as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. DERRY BLUES (4) - inconvenienced nearing the bend. Bumped KAY TUESSO entering the home straight. BIG TIME GOLDIE (5) - inconvenienced nearing the bend, losing considerable momentum as a result and not being able to get back into contention. IDOL ANDY (6) - bumped shortly after the start. OMA RAPETI (7) - brushed KAY TUESSO at the start. Bumped IDOL ANDY shortly after the start. Inconvenienced nearing the bend. KAY TUESSO (8) - brushed OMA RAPETI at the start. Bumped entering the home straight. THAT'S FRANK (9/2) - tightened FIRECRACKER nearing the bend.
Race 3	Kernow Construction C0 - C0 - 305	CITIZEN ZAGREB (2) - unbalanced entering the bend. HURRICANE AYLA (4) - proved difficult to load for trainer D Donlon, with Stewards advising that no action would be taken today due to the Covid-19 loading protocols, however this Greyhound would be monitored once the protocols are removed. Brushed ARIANA SUNSET at the start. Tightened nearing the bend. Raced wide through the home straight. ARIANA SUNSET (5) - brushed HURRICANE AYLA at the start. Tightened HURRICANE AYLA nearing the bend. Had racing line dictated entering the bend, being momentarily obliged to race wide. BILL BARNACLE (8) - had racing line dictated entering the bend, being obliged to race wide through the bend as a result. Raced wide through the home straight. IDOL ABBY (9/3) - moved up the track entering the bend, dictating the running line of ARIANA SUNSET and BILL BARNACLE. Raced wide through the bend.
Race 4	Wanganui Toyota C1 - C1 - 305	TIDDY CASH (1) - bumped CLANSMAN DOUGLAS shortly after the start when attempting to move away from the rail. Contacted on the point of the bend, losing it's chance. COCKNEY RIP OFF (2) - raced wide through the home straight. CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (3) - bumped shortly after the start. IDOL MEGHAN (4) - inconvenienced SMALL BOY and STAR WAY shortly after the start when moving up the track. Raced wide through the back straight. JOHNY MOWHAWK (5) - tightened on the point of the bend, in turn checking SMALL BOY and losing ground as a result. SMALL BOY (6) - inconvenienced shortly after the start. Checked and stumbled, losing it's chance on the point of the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. STAR WAY (7) - inconvenienced shortly after the start. BOMBSHELL BLONDE (8) - tightened JOHNY MOWHAWK on the point of the bend. A post race veterinary examination was carried out at the trainers request following race 7 which revealed no injuries.
Race 5	Red Snapper Seafoods, Christchurch C1 - C1 - 305	ALAMEIN GRAEME (2) - slow away. GOLDSTAR AUBURN (3) - began awkwardly, settling several lengths behind the field. Squeezed ROCKONEVA entering the bend. COOKIE BISCUIT (4) - bumped from behind shortly after the start. SEDGEBROOK COMET (5) - moved up the track at the start and raced wide through the back straight. AHUROA PRINCE (6) - bumped COOKIE BISCUIT from behind shortly after the start. Squeezed ROCKONEVA nearing the bend. ROCKONEVA (7) - brushed HOMEBUSH MINNIE at the start. Squeezed between runners nearing the bend and again entering the bend. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (8) - brushed ROCKONEVA at the start. Squeezed ROCKONEVA nearing the bend and again entering the bend.
