Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

• In accordance with GRNZ Rule 48.9(a), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

Race 1	The Fitz Sports Bar Sprint - C0 - 295	MITCHAM QUEEN (1) - contacted from the outside by FAST ANGEL early stages. Checked from behind entering the first bend. MAKING NEWS (2) - obligated to check inwards off heels early stages. Clipped heels entering the first bend losing momentum. OPAWA NASH (4) - inconvenienced rounding the bend losing ground shifting outwards checking SNEAKY SNITCH which fell to the track. SNEAKY SNITCH (6) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend before being contacted from the inside by OPAWA NASH falling to the track as a consequence. Subjected to a veterinary examination and stood down for the mandatory 5 days. FAST ANGEL (8) - came down the track abruptly through the early stages colliding with MITCHAM QUEEN.
Race 2	Amber Cleaning Services Dash - C0 - 295	OPAWA STUBBORN (1) - began awkwardly shifting outwards slightly and being contacted by CULVIE NUMB BOY as a result. CULVIE NUMB BOY (2) - contacted OPAWA STUBBORN on jumping before being squeezed for racing room. Checked off heels brushing the hind quarters of ROCCO JEWEL early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. Jostled with MULBERRY TIP prior to exiting the bend. ROCCO JEWEL (4) - hind quarters brushed by CULVIE NUMB BOY early stages. COOL HAND LESTER (5) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend losing momentum. MULBERRY TIP (8) - jostled with CULVIE NUMB BOY prior to exiting the bend.
Race 3	Power Farming Canterbury Dash - C2 - 295	PRINCE ZULU (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH TESAN (3) - inconvenienced and lost ground entering the bend. Bumped the hind quarters of MITCHAM BOULT exiting the bend. LAKOTA KOHANA (4) - brushed with GOTCHA POPEYE early stages. Dragged down and shifted up the track rounding the bend forcing MITCHAM BOULT wide. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOTCHA POPEYE (5) - brushed with LAKOTA KOHANA early stages. Checked from behind entering the bend losing momentum. HOMEBUSH AIMEE (6) - began awkwardly and was last on settling as a consequence. MITCHAM BOULT (7) - forced wide rounding the bend. Hind quarters bumped exiting the bend.
Race 4	Suck It Up Ltd Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA DONAL (2) - checked entering the final bend losing momentum. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (3) - checked and lost ground rounding the final bend after clipping heels. OPAWA ROD (4) - hampered slightly entering the first bend. OPAWA HANNAH (5) - awkwardly placed to the inside of OPAWA ROD entering the first bend. ADOBE GIRL (7) - hampered entering the first bend losing momentum.
Race 5	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C2 - 295	TWO BE FRANK (3) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground. Checked from behind entering the home straight. HOMEBUSH BODEN (4) - bumped with OPA'S MATE early stages. SMASH DRAGON (5) - jostled with RAQUEL ALLEN entering the bend. RAQUEL ALLEN (6) - jostled with SMASH DRAGON entering the bend losing momentum. Checked briefly entering the home straight. OPA'S MATE (7) - bumped with HOMEBUSH BODEN early stages. Held up for racing room rounding the bend becoming awkwardly placed to the inside of TWO BE FRANK. Clipped heels and lost balance entering the home straight shifting outwards and checking RAQUEL ALLEN as a consequence.
Race 6	I Pave Concrete Stakes - C0 - 520	OPAWA DAWN (3) - bumped with ADELPHI early stages. Jostled with this runner heading into the first bend before being placed in restricted room having to check and lose ground. ADELPHI (5) - bumped with OPAWA DAWN early stages. Jostled with this runner heading into the first bend. GOLDSTAR ARIA (7) - checked and lost ground prior to the first bend.
Race 7	Flair Dash - C2 - 295	SECOND SUMMER (4) - came up with the lid and was slow to jump as a consequence. TUCKER (6) - awkwardly placed on the heels of ETERNAL DEBT rounding the bend. IMPRESSIVE HIGH (7) - slow early stages.
Race 8	Kaisa Earthworks Ph 0272073323 Dash - C2 - 295	DREAM RUNNER (2) - referred to the Veterinarian after returning to the wash area with blood present to its left fore foot which was reported to be the result of a split webbing. HOMEBUSH RAPPER (3) - raced in tight quarters early stages shifting ground inwards. OPAWA HYPO (4) - hampered from the outside by GOLDSTAR WHITEY early stages. GOLDSTAR WHITEY (5) - bumped OPAWA HYPO early stages.
Race 9	Casswoods for Carpet Binding & Mats Dash - C2 - 295	FICKLE MISTRESS (2) - placed in tight quarters prior to the bend losing ground and being checked from behind as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. PONTIAC PAT (4) - bumped form the outside by ELITE BLUEBLOOD early stages. Inconvenienced when awkwardly placed between runners prior to the bend. ELITE BLUEBLOOD (5) - jostled with HOMEBUSH REHAINA early stages before being placed in restricted room bumping with PONTIAC PAT. HOMEBUSH REHAINA (6) - jostled with ELITE BLUEBLOOD early stages before being placed in restricted room having to steady. Hampered prior to the bend losing ground. PUNTERS LAST (8) - collided with PONTIAC PAT prior to the bend becoming unbalanced and losing ground. Hampered entering the bend losing further ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 10	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C2 - 520	OPAWA MASON (1) - hampered exiting the first bend. JOE BONANZA (2) - brushed with GOLDSTAR SPOOK first turn. Awkwardly placed on the heels of VIKING MAFIA prior to entering the back straight. VIKING MAFIA (4) - jostled with KNOW THREAT early stages KNOW THREAT (5) - jostled with VIKING MAFIA early stages. MR BLACKJACK (6) - awkwardly left the boxes settling last. Awkwardly placed on heels exiting the first bend having to check, shift up the track and lose momentum. GOLDSTAR SPOOK (8) - brushed with JOE BONANZA first turn. Squeezed for racing room exiting the first bend losing momentum before being forced to race wide.
Race 11	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Dash - C2 - 295	KNOW LOGIC (4) - squeezed for room early stages. Raced wide exiting the bend. GOLDSTAR FLORA (7) - slow early stages. Held up for racing room rounding the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Sprint - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR AVALON (1) - jostled with JEALOUS AFFAIR prior to the bend. JEALOUS AFFAIR (3) - jostled with GOLDSTAR AVALON prior to the bend before being placed in restricted room and having to check losing ground. PUNCH ON SCOOBY (4) - inconvenienced and lost all momentum entering the bend. HOMEBUSH SAYER (5) - checked inwards off heels early stages losing ground. Shifted ground off heels entering the home straight. MAFFRA DAISY (6) - shouldered with EPIC ROSE early stages. Checked and lost ground entering the bend. EPIC ROSE (7) - shouldered with MAFFRA DAISY early stages.
