Judicial report: SPECIAL REPORT:

• This meeting was closed to public due to Government restrictions surrounding Covid - 19 and was run under Greyhound Racing New Zealand Work Safe Covid - 19 protocols.

• In accordance with GRNZ Rule 48.9(a), the Stewards directed the Starter to box the greyhounds into the starting boxes in the following order, 1 & 5, followed by 3 & 7, followed by 2 & 6, followed by 4 & 8 for all races.

JUDICIAL:

1) DYNA BRYLEIGH (race 10 #1) was declared a non-starter pursuant with Rule 52.9 when in the opinion of the Stewards it was denied a fair start when the starter inadvertently lifted the sliding door of its box prior to the lure reaching the starting point.

2) An inquiry was opened and adjourned into the Starter's actions in race 10.

Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend, needing to check off to gain clear racing room. WIFI ROBYN (4) - brushed OMA RAPETI at the start. Contacted GO BLUE shortly after the start. Bumped PAVING WAY entering the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight. IDOL ABBY (5) - went up with the lids, settling several lengths behind the field. Never in contention thereafter. OMA RAPETI (6) - brushed WIFI ROBYN at the start. BILL BARNACLE (7) - inconvenienced on the point of the bend and forced to race wide for the remainder of the event. PAVING WAY (8) - bumped entering the bend, then unbalanced on the point of the bend inconveniencing BILL BARNACLE.
Race 2	Laser Plumbing C0 - C0 - 305	Connections of BIG TIME LENNY requested to have the blinkers removed prior to today's race. This information was advised to Trackside and Tweeted pre-race. MY EMMETT (1) - squeezed BIG TIME LENNY shortly after the start. Squeezed ALAMEIN PUDLY and TRUDY REMARKABLE nearing the bend. BIG TIME LENNY (2) - squeezed between runners shortly after the start. Tightened entering the bend, appearing to contact the rail. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. ALAMEIN PUDLY (3) - squeezed BIG TIME LENNY shortly after the start. Squeezed nearing the bend. Tightened BIG TIME LENNY entering the bend. DONNY (4) - began awkwardly. Raced wide through the back and home straights. WIFI WILBUR (5) - went up with the lids, settling several lengths behind the field. Made good ground to finish mid field. TRUDY REMARKABLE (6) - squeezed between runners nearing the bend. Raced wide through the bend and home straight. FIRECRACKER (7) - squeezed ALAMEIN PUDLY and TRUDY REMARKABLE nearing the bend.
Race 3	First Security C1 - C1 - 305	BIGTIME MIKE (1) - brushed BOMBSHELL BLONDE entering the bend. SEDGEBROOK SALLY (2) - bumped shortly after the start. Jostled with BOMBSHELL BLONDE nearing the bend. PENNY MOWHAWK (3) - began awkwardly. Unbalanced nearing the bend, bumping SLAM IT as a result. Brushed TRIPLE WHAT nearing the home straight. BOMBSHELL BLONDE (4) - bumped SEDGEBROOK SALLY shortly after the start. Jostled with SEDGEBROOK SALLY nearing the bend, eventually losing some ground. Brushed BIGTIME MIKE entering the bend. TUFF TREASURE (2) - tightened nearing the bend, in turn tightening CADILLAC MACK. SMALL BOY (3) - tightened shortly after the start, then tightened TUFF TREASURE nearing the bend. LESLIE ALBERT (4) - bumped shortly after the start. Awkwardly placed behind runners nearing the bend. Coursed wide through the bend and home straight. MONTY (5) - bumped LESLIE ALBERT shortly after the start. BIG TIME DUSTY (7) - began awkwardly. EYE KNO (8) - crossed toward the rail shortly after the start, tightening several runners to its inside in the process.

OPAWA MARCIE (2) - brushed BORN FAB nearing the bend. GOLDSTAR AUBURN (3) - slow away. Tightened entering the bend, needing to check off heels to gain clear room. HERE'S HEMI (6) - bumped nearing the bend. Tightened GOLDSTAR AUBURN entering the bend. ELOUERA MIST (7) - bumped BLACK WIDOW BABY at the start. BLACK WIDOW BABY (8) - bumped at the start. Bumped HERE'S HEMI nearing the bend.
Race 7	Wanganui Toyota C1 - C1 - 305	CHOICE LASS (1) - bumped at the start. Brushed WIFI BOLT nearing the bend. Raced wide through the latter stages of the home straight. DOUBLE CHANGE (2) - squeezed at the start. WIFI BOLT (3) - began awkwardly, squeezing DOUBLE CHANGE and bumping CHOICE LASS at the start. Bumped BIGTIME CHAMP shortly after the start. Contacted LIMPY JACKSON again entering the bend, losing ground as a result. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed pain in right deltoid and right gluteal muscle injury. LIMPY JACKSON (7) - contacted nearing the bend, and again entering the bend, appearing awkward in his action through the remainder of the event. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed muscle tear to left deltoid. POPPY ROCKET (8) - raced wide at various stages throughout.
Race 8	Kernow Construction C1 - C1 - 305	JOHNY MOWHAWK (1) - tightened entering the bend, losing momentum. Tightened NUCLEAR JEWEL nearing the home straight. GOTCHA MARSHALL (2) - began awkwardly. Squeezed TOKEN PICK at the start. NUCLEAR JEWEL (4) - squeezed TOKEN PICK at the start. Brushed CLANSMAN DOUGLAS nearing the bend. CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (5) - brushed NUCLEAR JEWEL nearing the bend. Coursed wide through the home straight. A post race veterinary examination was carried out which revealed no injuries. MEANDERING (2) - contacted BIG TIME ROONIE from behind entering the bend. BIG TIME ROONIE (3) - contacted from behind entering the bend, losing momentum. UNO ELEVEN (4) - bumped shortly after the start and again nearing the bend. BIGTIME BRIDGET (5) - slow away. BIGTIME AVA (6) - bumped at the start, then bumped UNO ELEVEN shortly after the start and again nearing the bend. HOMEBUSH MINNIE (7) - bumped BIGTIME AVA at the start.

Race 11	Gary Ross Decorators C1 - C1 - 305	There was a delay to the start of this race due to the issue with race 10. BIG TIME EILISH (1) - tightened entering the home straight, needing to check off heels to gain clear room, becoming unbalanced and bumping SHREWDY. ZIPPING ROMEO (4) - tightened BIG TIME EILISH entering the home straight. BIGTIME ALFIE (5) - bumped shortly after the start. BIG TIME RICKY (6) - went up with the lids, losing several lengths. SOZIN'S DELIGHT (7) - slow away. SHREWDY (8) - bumped BIGTIME ALFIE shortly after the start. Bumped entering the home straight. Raced wide at various stages throughout.
