Judicial report: 1). PACEMAKER (S Ó'Neill) - was a late scratching this morning from Race 15 after being inadvertently left in the fields following a change of trainer to Mr O'Neill from Miss A Bradshaw. After speaking with Mr O'Neill and Miss Bradshaw it was established that Miss Bradshaw had nominated PACEMAKER for today's event and had failed to inform Mr O'Neill of this engagement when the transfer of trainer was lodged. After taking into account the explanation from all parties which included Miss Bradshaw taking full responsibility for this oversight Stewards issued her with a fine of $300.00.

2). BUNDY (J McCook) - was a late scratching from Race 12 under GRNZ Rule 44.23. This Greyhound is stood down until such time a clearance has been issued by the Chief Steward or the Board as per GRNZ Rul 44.23(b).

3). J McInerney Jnr was issued a caution for failing to comply with the Boards dress code.

4). Trainer M Dempsey and Kennel Official P Munro were both fined $50.00 for failing to ensure the correct race rug was placed on FROSTY KATE in Race 9.

5). KNOW LEGEND (G Cleeve) - stood down for failing to pursue the lure in Race 10.

SMOOTH STEP (2) - checked prior to the first bend before being dragged down entering the the first bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OPAWA ROD (3) - hampered early stages losing ground failing to take a competitive part in the race thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a suspected fractured hock. SLIPPERY SUZIE (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. USAIN BALE (6) - came down the track abruptly early stages impeding inside runners. Shouldered with RIPSLINGER ROXY exiting the final bend. GOLDSTAR DARWIN (7) - clipped heels entering the first bend. RIPSLINGER ROXY (8) - inconvenienced first bend. Shouldered with USAIN BALE exiting the final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CARLOS (9/5) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Hampered entering the first bend.
Race 2	Christchurch Casino Sprint - C0 - 295	SAVAGE KNIGHT (3) - boxed first. Awkwardly placed to the inside of YAPPY YAP rounding the bend. YAPPY YAP (4) - checked and became unbalanced rounding the bend. Clipped heels exiting the bend shifting up the track as a consequence. JUSTIN LINCOLN (5) - bumped from the outside by GIRL MIDORI on jumping. Hampered exiting the bend. GIRL MIDORI (6) - contacted on jumping by HOMEBUSH POPPY bumping with JUSTIN LINCOLN as a consequence. Checked entering the bend losing ground. HOMEBUSH POPPY (7) - shifted down the track early stages becoming unbalanced when colliding with GIRL MIDORI. Lost ground when squeezed for room entering the bend. GO BLUE (8) - lost momentum when awkwardly placed to the outside of HOMEBUSH POPPY entering the bend.
Race 3	Happy Birthday Warren Smith Stakes - C1 - 520	SYDNEYS SOX (2) - placed in tight quarters entering the first bend being dragged down and losing ground. Placed on heels final bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HOLY GRAIL (4) - inconvenienced entering the first bend. HAZE ADAMS (7) - hampered entering the first bend.
Race 4	Garrard's Horse And Hound Sprint - C0 - 295	BLUSHING PETE (4) - contacted from the outside by HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF in the run to the bend. HOMEBUSH SHOWOFF (5) - collided with BLUSHING PETE in the run to the bend. OPAWA PAULINE (7) - contacted from the outside on jumping. GOLDSTAR HOWIE (8) - contacted OPAWA PAULINE on jumping.
Race 5	Islington Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	GO DIEGO (2) - checked off heels rounding the first bend. GOLDSTAR BEAU (7) - checked off heels exiting the final bend. AIN'T HE LUCKY (8) - coursed wide first bend. GOLDSTAR SCOOBY (9/3) - faltered and lost ground with the field shortly after jumping failing to take a competitive part in the race. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have a torn left hip support.
Race 6	A2C Asphalt 2 Concrete Ph 0800222583 Dash - C1 - 295	SHAW WINNER (2) - came up with the lids and settled last. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing ground. MITCHAM MAGIC (5) - jostled with ZIPPING HOUDINI at various stages through the run home. CARAMEL ROSE (7) - checked from behind entering the bend losing ground. ZIPPING HOUDINI (8) - jostled with MITCHAM MAGIC at various stages through the run home.
Race 7	Clarkson's Sign Studio Sprint - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR PERRIE (4) - contacted and turned inwards shortly after jumping. Hampered by fallen runner exiting the bend. KNOW FAREWELL (5) - came up slightly with the lids being slow to jump as a consequence. CRY LONELY (6) - squeezed for room early stages. Bumped with BLACK EYED BILL exitng the bend. BLACK EYE BILL (7) - forced down the track early stages colliding with GOLDSTAR PERRIE as a result. Bumped up the track and lost balance exiting the bend falling to the track as a consequence. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have mild wrist soreness. POORAN'S JADEJA (8) - came down the track early stages forcing inside runners inwards.
Race 8	greyhoundauctions.co.nz Stakes - C1 - 520	QUINCY BALE was a late scratching at the boxes on Veterinary advice. OPAWA TRAVIS (5) - slow early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels first bend. GOLDSTAR MONTANA (6) - slow early stages. JINJA TONI (8) - hampered exiting the first bend.
Race 9	Springston Hotel Sprint - C1 - 295	This race was delayed after the race rug on FROSTY KATE needed to be corrected. OPA'S JOY (3) - placed in tight quarters rounding the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SPEEDY BOSS (7) - turned outwards rounding the bend after placing OPA'S JOY in restricted room. MICK THE MOUSE (8) - boxed first.
Race 10	Suck It Up Ltd Sprint - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR WYNTER (4) - contacted early stages by GOLDSTAR CLOVER before jostling with this runner in the run to the bend. KNOW LEGEND (5) - slow early. Eased free of interference prior to the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian with no abnormalities detected. Stood down for failing to pursue the lure. BILLY BUDD (6) - slow early. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (7) - came down the track abruptly early stages contacting GOLDSTAR WYNTER before jostling with this runner in the run to the bend. Squeezed for racing room rounding the bend being severely checked. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. AZKADELLIA (8) - boxed first. Lost momentum when awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding the bend.
Race 11	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	GOLDSTAR LIBERTY (3) - squeezed for racing room in the run to the bend checking inwards off heels. HORSE RANGE GOLD (4) - checked from behind losing ground in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed to the inside of HOMEBUSH MAREE rounding the bend. HOMEBUSH MAREE (5) - awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend momentum. LAKOTA TONKA (6) - awkwardly positioned between runners entering the bend losing momentum.
Race 12	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C1 - 520	BUNDY was a late scratching at kenneling. OHOKA KATE (2) - shifted up the track entering the first bend forcing outside greyhounds wide. MITCHAM TODDY (5) - slow to jump. Forced wide first turn. KIA TERE (7) - forced wide first turn.
Race 13	Culvie Boy's Syndicate Sprint - C1 - 295	MULBERRY ROCK (1) - boxed first. Contacted GOLDSTAR McQUEEN on jumping. Shifted up the track bumping with JAUBERT in the run to the bend. GOLDSTAR MCQUEEN (2) - squeezed for room on jumping having to check inwards off heels. AUTO SPEED (3) - hampered early stages losing ground. Coursed wide rounding the bend forcing outside greyhounds wide. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (4) - forced wide rounding the bend losing ground. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to have injured its right triceps muscle. JAUBERT (5) - bumped from the inside by MULBERRY ROCK in the run to the bend. KNOW APPROVAL (8) - forced wide rounding the bend.
Race 14	Avonhead Tavern Sprint - C1 - 295	HOMEBUSH LIZ (2) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and had to steady. KNOW DOLLARS (4) - slow early. NASSOR (7) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 15	RE-ENERGISE Dash - C1 - 295	PACE MAKER - was a late scratching. MULBERRY MINX (6) - forced wide and lost momentum rounding the bend. DENUTO (7) - considerably slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend having to check and race wide. GO GREAT (9/5) - forced wide and checked losing momentum rounding the bend.
