Placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum. GOLDSTAR HALSEY (10/7) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing momentum.
Race 2	Avonhead Tavern Sprint Heat 2 - C3q - 295 Heat 2	KNOW SCRUTINY (2) - slow early. PUNCH ON BUZZ (5) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend losing ground. Precautionary Veterinary examination - cleared of injury. OPAWA OSCAR (6) - bumped from SOZIN'S NOIR on jumping. SOZIN'S NOIR (7) - collided with OPAWA OSCAR on jumping.
Race 3	Avonhead Tavern Sprint Heat 3 - C3q - 295 Heat 3	MEGA DREAM (1) - inconvenienced rounding the bend by CAWBOURNE BRITTY. KING KALI (3) - considerably slow to jump. Forced down the track in the run to the bend before being placed in restricted room and losing ground. Held up from racing room and placed in tight quarters exiting the bend. KNOW CAUSE (4) - forced KING KALI down the track in the run to the bend before placing this runner in tight quarters and being turned outwards. Jostled with GOLDSTAR WILLA exiting the bend. CAWBOURNE BRITTY (5) - squeezed for room by DYNA ELLIOT entering the bend being forced to check off heels and as a consequence to this inconvenienced trailing runners. Again squeezed for racing room rounding the bend. PRINCELY GOLD (6) - checked and lost chance rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR WILLA (7) - checked rounding the bend losing momentum. Jostled with KNOW CAUSE exiting the bend. DYNA ELLIOT (9/2) - Stewards queried the improved performance of this Greyhound with trainer A Roberts. Mr Roberts could offer no other explanation other than the Greyhound had received a lucky run throughout today's assignment.
Race 4	Avonhead Tavern Sprint Heat 4 - C3q - 295 Heat 4	NIKKO BAXTER (1) - raced wide when leading on home turn. ENCHANTEE (3) - boxed first. Very slow to jump. FAMOUS LEE (4) - angled inwards into bend crowding inside runners. HOMEBUSH SAYER (5) - contacted by REIGN OF FIRE early stages becoming unbalanced. KNOW LOGIC (6) - pushed down track by REIGN OF FIRE early stages losing ground. Tightened into bend dropping to rear. Raced wide home turn. REIGN OF FIRE (7) - boxed first. Ran inwards early stages pushing KNOW LOGIC down track then contacting HOMEBUSH SAYER. Raced wide home turn. BLACK TORI (8) - tightened on bend losing ground.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C4 - 295	SPECIAL AS (1) - jostled with BUSY ROCCA prior to the bend. Severely checked losing its chance rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. BUSY ROCCA (2) - jostled with SPECIAL AS prior to the bend. Checked rounding the bend losing momentum. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HILTON HANGOVER (4) - checked inwards off the heels of GOLDSTAR SPOTTY early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend and again rounding it losing all momentum and its chance. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. CHITINA TIN (5) - jostled briefly with OHANA LAD early stages. Checked and lost momentum rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. OHANA LAD (6) - contacted from the outside early stages jostling with CHITINA TIN before jostling with KING TOLIMAN in the run to the bend. Inconvenienced rounding the bend. KING TOLIMAN (7) - bumped with OHANA LAD early stages. Inconvenienced rounding the bend.
Race 6	Kolorful Kanvas Dash - C2 - 295	SMASH ACHIEVER (5) - hampered and placed on heels early stages checking inwards. GO GUNNA (7) - raced wide bend and final straight.
Race 7	Flair Sprint - C4 - 295	FIDGETY FEET (1) - forced down the track early stages. Bumped with PLATINUM MARSHAL prior to the finish line. PLATINUM MARSHAL (2) - forced down the track early stages.
