Judicial report: 1) Co-Trainer S Evans advised Stewards that KALONGA has been retired from racing. 2) COSMIC JASE (J McInerney) was a late scratching from Race 9 at kenneling when found to have hock soreness. 3) Handler J Roberts was issued with a warning in relation to the GRNZ dress code. 4) HOMEBUSH SUSAN (J McInerney) completed a Qualifying Trial in blinkers. 5) FLIPPING CRAZY (A Bradshaw) was stood down for 3 months (2nd offence) for marring during Race 3. 6) Stipendiary Stewards report as posted is provisional and subject to further review and amendment. FATHER LEO (6) - raced wide home straight. KNOW FRENZY (7) - pushed wide into bend losing ground. Continued to race wide in home straight.
Race 2	Otago Maiden Bitches Sprint - C0 - 310	HOMEBUSH LIZ (1) - ran wide home turn. MITCHAM PRU (3) - very slow to jump. Pushed outwards into bend. Raced in restricted room late in run home. ABSENT (4) - angled outwards into bend pushing runners wide. THREE GOLD STARS (6) - pushed down track early stages. Checked by inside runners becoming unbalanced losing ground. HOMEBUSH GINA (7) - badly tightened and checked into bend losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. CITIZEN ZAGREB (8) - ran inwards early stages. Pushed wide home turn.
Race 3	www.greyhoundsaspets.org.nz - C0 - 545	PEPPER CHIMES (1) - slow to jump. Jostled with outside runner in run to first bend. Ran outwards first bend. Pushed very wide entering back straight becoming unbalanced. DENUTO (2) - ran inwards into first bend and jostled with inside runner. Pushed wide first bend. MR BLACKJACK (3) - slow to jump. Pushed wide first bend then badly checked losing ground. FLIPPING CRAZY (4) - had heels clipped entering back straight. Turned head inwards home turn then marred inside runner throughout the home straight. Stood down for 3 months under Rule 55.1.a. (2nd offence) and must complete Satisfactory Trial. The connections advised that the bitch would now be retired from racing. GO GREAT (5) - ran outwards early stages and was turned when contacting outside runner. Checked outwards off heels entering back straight pushing runner wide. MAX VOLUME (6) - checked by inside runner early stages. Pushed wide first bend. Ran inwards on that bend checking runner. Ran wide leaving back straight. GO RAP (7) - marred by outside runner throughout the home straight losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR DAWSON (8) - very slow to jump.
Race 4	Forbury Bitches Sprint - C1 - 310	ANDREA SAID (1) - slow to jump. KNOW BABY (2) - dragged down for a stride into bend losing momentum. Ran outwards and checked off heels soon after. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury. HOMEBUSH DOLPHY (3) - ran outwards back straight. POORAN'S JADEJA (4) - ran outwards back straight. HORSE RANGE GOLD (7) - checked from behind on bend losing ground. Raced wide home straight. STEP INSIDE LOVE (8) - slow to jump.
Race 5	St Kilda Veterinary Centre Sprint - C2 - 310	DOOMSDAY (1) - contacted outside runner back straight. BLAZING BANJO (2) - angled inwards back straight contacting inside runner. EZRA BLUEBLOOD (4) - stumbled early stages losing ground. PRETTY KEEN (5) - ran outwards back straight. SOZIN'S DELIGHT (6) - raced wide home turn.
Race 6	Green Island Barber Sprint - C2 - 310	MISS NINA (2) - ran outwards back straight contacting outside runner. MACEY BAXTER (4) - ran outwards into bend contacting outside runner and losing ground. Checked by trailing runner soon after then pushed down track on bend. Ran wide home straight. PUNCH ON BUZZ (5) - jumped awkwardly and lost ground. SOZIN'S TREASURE (6) - contacted by inside runner back straight and ran wide in consequence. PUNCH ON JESSIE (7) - checked the hind quarters of runner into bend. CAWBOURNE CRUZ (8) - contacted by inside runner into bend and became unbalanced losing ground. Soon after pushed inside runner down track.
Race 7	All Fencing Solutions Stakes - C2/3 - 545	CLASSY WITCH (3) - raced very wide back straight. KNOW HASSLE (4) - slow to jump. Raced wide back straight and concluding stages. KNOW BETRAYAL (5) - ran wide first bend. KNOW DENYING (6) - came up with the lids settling last. KNOW EQUAL (7) - slow to jump. Ran wide home straight. NEPTUNE ALLEN (8) - slow to jump.
Race 8	Brian Bagley Driver Licensing Sprint - C3 - 310	JAX JEWEL (1) - contacted outside runner into bend. HOMEBUSH AIMEE (3) - ran inwards and struck the rail on bend losing ground then ran outwards hampering runners. Assessed by vet and found to have shoulder soreness. OPAWA OSCAR (4) - tightened early stages dropping to rear. Ran outwards back straight. KNOW SWEAT (5) - ran inwards early stages contacting inside runner. Ran outwards back straight and pushed very wide around bend. Again pushed very wide on bend losing chance. LITTLE KRAKATOA (6) - ran outwards into bend tightening outside runner then pushed down track and was badly checked losing ground. Hampered by inside runner on bend. MITCHAM BECKY (7) - tightened into bend losing ground. Pushed very wide on bend losing chance. OPAWA HYPO (10/8) - ran inwards into bend tightening inside runner. Continued to run inwards and was badly checked losing chance. Assessed by vet and cleared of injury.
