Judicial report: 1- The inquiry has been concluded in to the circumstances surrounding GO STOPPER starting from the incorrect box in race 2 Wanganui GRC on 18-10-2019
Due to a misunderstanding on the correct withdrawl for greyhounds stood down per rules ( 44.20 & 56.1) stood down from previous meetings was the cause of this happening.
All parties have been reminded of the correct procedure going forward in reference to rule 40.2.
2- DANGEROUS DI # 1 race 1 was a late scratching at kenneling due to a seasonal complaint

3- HOMEBUSH MINNIE # 6 race 12 was a late scratching at kenneling due to thigh muscle bruising.
4- Trainer N Udy re-presented MR. POSTMAN and JUST LIKE HARRY following stand downs on Friday 18 October with both being found to be clear of injury and their respective stand downs are now rescinded.
5- JINJA TED #7 race 4 ( M Gowan ) has been stood down rule 55.1b ( failing to pursue ) 3 months 2nd offence and to the completion of a satisfactory trial.
6- supplementary from Wanganui greyhounds 16-10-2109 trainer B Goldsack has been reminded of his obligations under the new travel policy.
7- GUNNAR BLUEBLOOD #1 race 5 & HOMEBUSH RAZOR # 2 race 8 were correctly scratched by the McInerney kennel before 7.30am this morning and due to the scratchings not going direct to Wanganui greyhounds as would usually happen the scratchings advice went to the person looking after this area in the absence of the Wanganui Club secretary being on recent leave.
S McInerney advised the Stewards shortly before 8 am with his concerns that the greyhounds were still shown on the TAB website as still being runners.
This was attended to by the Stewards after confirmation that the dogs were correctly scratched.
MIDNIGHT MOLLY 2nd reserve race 5 had been previously scratched as had no 3 in the race so the first reserve was already in the field.
Race 8 BLUE WHIZZ 2nd reserve did not make the field.
The person who received the scratchings on her phone believed they were for Palmerston North Greyhounds next Monday with S McInerney unaware that the scratchings role had been handed back to the Wanganui Club.
The Stewards are in consultation with the Club to make sure that there is a clearer process going forward with contacts for scratchings.

This report as posted is provisional and is subject to further review and amendment.
