Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY:- 1). Stewards have concluded their investigation into the reason greyhounds nominated for a Qualifying trial at Addington Raceway on the 13th September 2019 trained by A Lawrence (Cambridge), had been domiciled with R Blackburn (Amberly). After speaking with all parties involved Mr Lawrence was issued with a Minor Infringement and fined the sum of $100.00 for failing to obtain permission from the association to have his greyhound domiciled at a kennel other than his own for a period exceeding 14 days.~~

2). Christchurch GRC - Race 5 - Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes Heat 1:- The connections of NEVER KNEW have advised Stewards that the greyhound had returned to their kennels and had been found to have and injured its left front Flexor Carpi Ulnaris.~~

JUDICIAL:-
1). Stewards investigated the reason behind Owner/Trainer C Steele (GOLDSTAR LIBERTY) walking behind the field prior to being called into line for Race 1 with his mobile phone in his hand. Mr Steele explained that he had forgotten to place his device onto silent mode and had informed the track curator, Mr W Harnett, of his intention to walk away and perform this task in case he received an incoming notification/call whilst handling. Mr Harnett confirmed the explanation tendered by Mr Steel with no further action deemed necessary other to remind Mr Steel to ensure his device is switched to silent mode prior to parading greyhounds in future.

AMURI LIV (5) - shifted ground outwards in the run tothe bend when being crossed by CASH A ROO colliding with GOLDSTAR LIBERTY. GOLDSTAR LIBERTY (7) - boxed first. Contacted from the inside by AMURI LIV in the run to the bend. Checked outwards off the heels of MULBERRY MINX in the run tot he finish. COME A GUSTER (8) - awkwardly placed to the outside of CAWBOURNE BRITTY rounding the bend losing momentum.
Race 2	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Dash - C4 - 295	MAN OF LETTERS (1) - awkwardly placed to the inside of BILLY FROST prior to the bend being turned inwards as a result and hampering outside greyhounds. BILLY FROST (2) - jostled with AMURI GEORGE in the run to the bend. FERAL KAIAKA (4) - slow early before becoming awkwardly placed on the heels of AMURI GEORGE. AMURI GEORGE (5) - dictated down the track in the run to the first bend jostling with BILLY FROST as a consequence. Hampered entering the bend losing ground. MITCHAM READO (6) - checked rounding the bend losing momentum. NEELIX (7) - checked by MAN OF LETTERS entering the bend losing ground.
Race 3	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C3 - 295	DIZZY BANJO (3) - came up with the lids and was slow away before being awkwardly placed on heels and losing momentum. BLAZING BANJO (4) - boxed first. checked early stages. VASTERBOTTENOST (5) - slow early. Held up early stages of the bend. DYNA LENNY (6) - came down the track abruptly at the start hampering inside runners. KNOW HASSLE (8) - slow early.
Race 4	I Pave Concrete Dash - C3 - 295	LITTLE KRAKATOA (2) - jostled with GOLDEN BAY in the run to the bend. GOLDEN BAY (3) - jostled with LITTLE KRAKATOA in the run to the bend. Awkwardly placed between runners and lost ground entering the bend. OPAWA JUMPER (4) - slow early. JAX JEWEL (5) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend and lost ground. JUST IZZY (6) - squeezed for racing room prior to the bend and lost ground.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295	PLATINUM MARSHAL (1) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. CHANYAKA (2) - contacted from the outside by GOLDSTAR TROOPER entering the bend and lost momentum. BUSY ROCCA (3) - squeezed for racing room entering the bend. Bumped with BECK ELEVEN exiting the bend and again entering the home straight. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HEAR THIS (5) - lost ground when awkwardly placed between runners rounding the bend. SHAW LEE (7) - squeezed for racing room early stages. BECK ELEVEN (8) - bumped up the track exiting the bend. Bumped again entering the home straight losing momentum.
Race 6	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C3 - 295	ENCHANTEE (2) - boxed first. MITCHAM TRUDY (4) - hampered entering the bend before being squeezed for racing room and losing ground. CHITINA TIN (5) - collided with CALL ME FLOW early stages. CALL ME FLO (6) - collided with CHITINI TIN early stages.
Race 7	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA MASON (4) - bumped with GO GLOW rounding the first bend. GO GLOW (5) - squeezed for racing room entering the first bend. Bumped with OPAWA MASON rounding the first bend. OPAWA ROY (6) - jostled with OPAWA SWEET early stages. Squeezed for racing room entering the first bend having to check off heels. Raced wide down the back straight and again through the run home. OPAWA SWEET (7) - jostled with OPAWA ROY early stages. Awkwardly placed to the outside of runners entering the first bend.
Race 8	My Bro Fabio C1/2 Distance - C1/2d - 645	PERFECT RESULT (1) - slow early. MIGHTY MUSCLE (2) - slow early. ALOTTA TALK (4) - squeezed early stages losing ground.
Race 9	Christchurch Casino NZ Greyhound Cup Prelude - C5 - 520	OPAWA MAY (2) - hampered from behind prior to the first bend. FAMOUS LEE (3) - squeezed for room prior to the first bend. BAHAMA QUEEN (4) - squeezed for room prior to the first bend losing ground. Raced wide back straight. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (7) - slow early.
Race 10	The Fitz Sports Bar Galaxy Prelude - C5 - 295	FIRED UP JED (1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend and lost ground. Referred to the veterinarian and cleared of injury. JINJA ELLIE (2) - bumped with HILTON HANGOVER entering the bend. VERSAILLES (3) - began awkwardly before being squeezed for racing room climbing on heels. HIGH DREAMER (4) - dragged down early stages losing ground. Referred to the veterinarian where it was reported to have sustained a split webbing. HILTON HANGOVER (7) - bumped with JINJA ELLIE entering the bend. Raced wide rounding the bend. Obliged to check off heels entering the home straight. HANKENSTEIN (8) - raced wide rounding the bend.
Race 11	Spectator's Bar & Bistro Dash - C5 - 295	MOHICAN RUN (5) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. HILTON FORABET (10/8) - slow early. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend.
Race 12	Protexin Dash - C4 - 295	LOCO LOLA (2) - checked and became awkwardly placed on heels prior to the bend shifting outwards and hampering outside greyhounds. Lost ground as a consequence. Again awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. Referred to the veterinarian and was cleared of injury. KETCHIKAN KIM (3) - checked and lost all momentum prior to the bend. RING CLOWN (4) - slightly inconvenienced when crossing over the running line of LOCO LOLA prior to the bend. PRINCELY GOLD (7) - slow early stages. Hampered entering the bend and again rounding it. BASHFUL BUFFY (10/8) - slightly inconvenienced entering the bend.
