Track: Good Track was presented in a good racing condition and was well maintained throughout. All other equipment operated well.

Health and Safety comment:

Judicial report: 1- at a JCA review hearing today Trainer R Waite was unsuccessful in seeking a review of the stand down imposed on MISCHIEF SEEKER ( failing to pursue ) 3rd offence 12 months stand down and to the completion of a satisfactory trial on the 18-9-2019 with the panel finding in favor of the Stewards decision which stands.a full written decision will be on the JCA website in the near future.
2- At a JCA hearing today J T McInerney kennels were fined $ 550-00 for fourth weight infringement in the preceding 120 days after JETLAG JAG was 1.7 kgs over his previous race weight on the 2-9-2019- a full written decision will be on the JCA website in the near future.

3- PRINCESS PEA # 10 race 2 has been stood down rule ( 55.1b ) failing to pursue as per the rules 28 days and to complete a satisfactory trial ( 1st offence )
4- SMASH ROCK #1 race 11 has been stood down rule ( 38.9 ) to complete a satisfactory trial.
5- TUFF JEWELL ( B Mitchell ) has completed a satisfactory trial per rules ( 38-10 ) after whelping a litter in the previous sixteen weeks and was vetted pre trial & post trial in now cleared to be nominated.
6- DYNA BRYLEIGH & OPHIRA BALE ( M Roberts ) both completed satisfactory trials per rule 38.9 and are now cleared to be nominated.
7- Trainer N Udy was fined $100-00 per rule 42.2 after allowing an unauthorised person to handle a greyhound at the Wanganui GRC meeting on the 2-10-2019.

Race 1	ABSOLUTELY ELECTRICAL - C0 - 305	SMALL DUKIE (1) - contacted in the hindquarters in to the bend losing ground ran outwards on the home turn contacting runner on the outer. GEMMAS DILEMMA (4) - began awkwardly contacted to her outer angled inwards contacting runner to her inner in to the bend BIG TIME MAY (5) - fav-began awkwardly for a stride was then bumped and pushed outwards losing some ground. FRECKLE (6) - checked between runners racing from the start angled inwards in to the bend then checked outwards off heels forcing following runner to check wide raced widest around the bend and was checked on the home turn when towards the rear . SPRING COMET (7) - checked and forced wide in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention.
Race 2	WHANGANUI CHRONICLE C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	COLLECT A DREAM (4) - dwelt and was slow in to stride. PRINCESS PEA (10/7) - contact soon after the start eased for a couple of strides in to the bend when clear of runners finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found.
Race 3	AON CPF C1/2 - C1/2 - 305	BIG TIME DUSTY (2) - ran outwards from the jump causing checks to runners on either side. NUCLEAR JEWEL (3) - contacted coming off the mats bumped again soon after and went over on to heels was hampered for a stride or so racing in to the bend when improving and was jostled made some ground in the run to the line. BIGTIME ON TRACK (6) - bumped on racing from the start and was bumped and jostled again when racing between runners in to the bend. GO STOPPER (8) - went up with the lids bumped with runner to his inner when attempting to improve wide in to the bend. HOMEBUSH DEMI (9/4) - ran inwards from the jump contacting runner to her inner and bumped with this runner again soon after going sideways and catching heels losing momentum back to the rear was unable to improve from there on in.
Race 4	RIVERCITY GAS C1 - C1 - 520	SUMMER GLEE (2) - made an awkward start and stumbled for a stride and unbalanced made ground along the inner in the run around the first turn in to the midfield could not hold that position weakening across the top bend to the line. DIAMOND GEEZER (4) - contacted hindquarters of runner to his outer in the run around the first turn. PICK A PASCAL (6) - contacted and checked in the run around the first bend. MIDNIGHT MOLLY (8) - forced to race widest in to and around the first bend caught heels and stumbled racing in to the back straight losing momentum back to the rear and was unable to improve thereafter was referred to the vet where no abnormalities were found
Race 5	HATRICK DASH C1 - C1 - 305	DOUBLE CHANGE (2) - went up with the lids and was last in to stride by several lengths soon after ran on to heels checking for a stride or so made some ground in to the midfield at the line. SLICK AS JEWELS (3) - soon after the start was tightened and checked back from between runners losing momentum. RISING HAWKE (4) - dictated across and checked soon after the start losing momentum and ground MISTER BOOZE (5) - bumped soon after the start then ran out over heels to race widest in to and around the bend in to the home straight covering a fair amount of extra ground in the running. SMALL PAIGE (6) - handy in the run in to the bend when checked and went back several lengths after catching the heels of the leading runner.
Race 6	BOOK YOUR FUNCTION @ HATRICK C1 - C1 - 305	ROCKONEVA (2) - hampered for some strides when tightened and jostled between runners going wide in to the bend. STAR SECRET (5) - began awkwardly for a stride soon after angled outwards contacting and bumping with runner on the outer was then forced inwards being tightened and and checked back to the rear was uanble to get back in to contention. SO SEVERE (7) - soon after the start was bumped and unbalanced then pushed his way back inwards being hampered and jostled for some strides losing ground and was unable to improve thereafter
Race 7	ACCELL LEADING THE WAY IN CANINE THERAPY C1 - C1 - 520	SLAM IT (4) - jumped and ran outwards causing tightening to several runners to his outer. JETLAG JAG (5) - dictated outwards from the jump tightened and checked back from between runners losing momentum and was unable to improve thereafter SECRET BABE (6) - racing from the start was bumped hard when caught between runners losing momentum back to the rear losing more ground along the back straight and was unable to improve thereafter was referred to the vet and was found to have injuries to right pectoral & right quadriceps muscles. ZIPPING ROMEO (7) - tightened and checked racing from the start losing initial momentum and was unable to get back in to contention. REPLICA RANGO (8) - checked soon after the start when contacting runners to his inner as he angled across.
Race 8	LIQUORLAND WANGANUI C1 - C1 - 305	TARANAKI BRIE (1) - handy to the bend when over corrected and made hard contact with the rail racing in to the bend soon after racing on to the top bend angled outwards to avoid heels losing contact with the back of the field and finished in the rear at the line and was referred to the vet and was found to have an injury to left pectoral muscle & bruising over thorax HOMEBUSH SHEA (2) - hampered when checked in to the bend losing ground. BIG TIME NASH (4) - fav- only fairly away hampered and lost some ground racing in to the bend settled midfield jostled for some strides across the top bend could not improve in the run to the line. TYNECASTLE FLYER (5) - improving across the top bend when coming together and jostling with BIG TIME NASH for some strides in the run to the home turn.
Race 9	PALAMOUNTAINS SCIENTIFIC NUTRITION C1 - C1 - 305	BLITZEM GEM (1) - bumped soon after the start soon after was tightened and being forced back losing momentum and ground racing in to the bend and was unable to get back in to contention. EPIC SPARK (2) - severely tightened and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention BIGTIME HANNAH (3) - tightened back and caught heels losing momentum and ground in to the bend was unable to get back in to contention. BIG TIME PRICKLE (4) - tightened and pushed across and checked in to the bend recovered well to make ground to the line. SEDGEBROOK SAINT (5) - angled across racing to the bend causing tightening and checks to several runners to his inner for some strides. CHOICE SISTER (7) - raced wide in to and around the bend ran wider in to the home straight covering extra ground in the running.
Race 10	FIRST SECURITY C1 - C1 - 520	JAY GRIM (3) - bumped when caught between runners racing off the mats hampered when coming back off heels racing to the first turn came back off heels again racing towards the back straight and was unable to get in to contention from there. OPAWA TAI (4) - bumped with runner to her inner racing off the mats angled out off heels racing around the first bend ROSE AND CROWN (7) - racing in the midfield around the first turn when checked and caught heels losing momentum and ground was unable to improve thereafter finishing in the rear at the line was referred to the vet and was found to have injuries to the right gracilis muscle THRILLING AMELIA (8) - wide in to the first turn came out off hindquarters and improved past a runner then angled inwards checking this runner.
Race 11	LASER PLUMBING C1 - C1 - 305	SMASH ROCK (1) - hampered in to the bend when tightened for a few strides.improving along the inner on the home turn when moving outwards appearing to turn his head with the film being inconclusive at this point and finished on best and was referred to the vet and was found to have a right side hip support injury and has been stood down to complete a satisfactory trial BIG TIME KENNY (2) - hampered in the run in to the bend for some strides as runners ahead were tightened recovered to make ground to the line. SEFTON BREW (3) - ran out wide over heels in to the bend contacting runner out wide and lost ground. BIG TIME EILISH (5) - angled across from the jump was vying for the lead when tightened and checked in to the bend going back towards the rear AHUROA PRINCE (6) - dictated across in to the bend tightening runners to his inner for a few strides. CAWBOURNE MOSS (7) - fav- came back off heels in to the bend contacting inner runner and went sideways for a stride or so losing momentum and ground . recovered to make some ground in the run to the line. FINAL STRAW (8) - angled across in to the bend causing tightening to several runners in to the bend who were all disputing the lead at this stage.
Race 12	J P PRINT PETONE C1 - C1 - 305	UNO ELEVEN (1) - tightened and checked in to the bend going back towards the rear made good ground in the run to the line. SCOOBASI (2) - went up with the lids settled back contacted on the home turn. THRILLING PETA (3) - fav- contacted soon after the start recovered quickly to make good ground wider out finished best. ANDREA'S MAGIC (5) - began awkwardly was then bumped soon after angled inwards in to the bend tightening runners to the inner JOHNY MOWHAWK (6) - hampered in to the bend when tightened and checked between runners. SMALL BOY (7) - contact in to the bend ran wide losing all chance. COOL WOLF (8) - contact in to the bend being bumped and ran wide losing all chance.
Race 13	WANGANUI TOYOTA C1 - C1 - 305	UNFASHIONABLE (1) - began awkwardly angling outwards from the jump coming together with and checking runners to her outer for a stride or so HURRICANE AL (2) - tightened between runners racing off the mats tightened in on to heels in to the bend losing momentum and ground recovered to improve on to the top bend and was held up for some strides when looking to clear heels CLANSMAN DOUGLAS (3) - came together with runner to his inner racing off the mats tightened and checked in to the bend recovered well. BIGTIME JASPER (5) - dwelt at the jump and was last in to stride angled across in to the bend and ran on to heels checking losing momentum and ground was unable to get in to contention. BRIGHT CONCEPT (8) - angled across in to the bend causing tightening and checks .
Race 14	THE ROCK 95.23FM C1 - C1 - 305	SHADOW GIRL (1) - tightened in to the bend lost momentum and ground. SMALLTIME JOHNNY (2) - tightened and checked in to the bend lost ground ran home well. KILLER FROST (3) - out well led in to the bend and was checked and went sideways losing momentum back to midfield was unable to make ground thereafter. DREAM ON DREAMER (4) - tightened and checked in to the bend losing momentum and ground checking out wide was unable to make ground. TOKEN PICK (5) - tightened nad checked in to the bend was able to keep good ground. UNO AGAIN (7) - checked and wide in to the bend recovered to make ground. INKY DINKY JEWEL (10/8) - hampered in to the bend racing extremely wide around the top bend losing all chance.
Race 15	ADEPT ACCOUNTANTS C1 - C1 - 305	YEE COO COO (1) - hampered racing in to the bend when tightened and jostled losing momentum back to the rear ran on to and checked out over heels in to the bend and was unable to get back in to contention. MUSTANG MOO (3) - bumped and checked in to the bend coming back off heels losing momentum and ground was unable to get back in to contention ZARA FAB (4) - ran outwards over heels checking runners in to the bend racing wide and made ground in the run to the line. BLACK MAGS (5) - ran outwards from the jump contact with outer runner then was bumped inwards and tightened then came back off heels losing momentum and ground BIG TIME ROSE (8) - dwelt at the jump.
