FIDGETY FEET (5) - slow early before being forced down the when racing to the inside of MEMPHIS JEWEL. Awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend. DREAM RUNNER (6) - collided with SMASH REBEL on jumping losing ground. MEMPHIS JEWEL (7) - squeezed between runners on jumping before being forced down the track by SMASH REBEL. Checked inwards off heels rounding the bend. SMASH REBEL (8) - came inwards on jumping colliding with DREAM RUNNER. Continued to shift down the track in the run tot he bend forcing MEMPHIS JEWEL and FIDGETY FEET down the track.
Race 2	Happy Birthday Marcie Flipp Dash - C3 - 295	JAX JEWEL (1) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend. MITCHAM READO (4) - forced down the track in the run to the bend by RING CLOWN. RING CLOWN (5) - contacted from the outside by JINJA SNEAK early stages. JINJA SNEAK (6) - squeezed between runners early stages and lost ground. As a result of this interference the bitches muzzle became detached for the remainder of the event. Climbed on heels rounding the bend losing ground. CULVIE LASS (7) - collided with JINJA SNEAK early stages before being squeezed for racing room and losing ground. Checked when racing to the outside of JUSTIN RYAN entering the bend losing ground. Again checked rounding the bend by JINJA SNEAK.
Race 3	Flair Sprint - C3 - 295	MAJOR STORM (3) - awkwardly placed to the inside of HILTON HANGOVER rounding the bend and lost momentum briefly. Marred by COME A GUSTER exiting the bend and through the run home. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. COME A GUSTER (4) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. Shifted up the track exiting the bend marring MAJOR STORM. Continued to mar this runner in the run to the finish. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for Marring. CALL ME JOE (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages losing ground. HILTON HANGOVER (6) - shifted down the track early stages impededing CALL ME JOE and COME A GUSTER. Squeezed and obliged to checked off heels rounding the bend shifting outwards hampering HEAR THIS. Forced to race wide exiting the bend. Hampered prior to the finish line when racing to the outside of MAJOR STORM. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. HEAR THIS (7) - inconvenienced rounding the bend when racing to the outside of HILTON HANGOVER. KNOW HASSLE (8) - slow early. Awkwardly positioned behind HEAR THIS rounding the bend losing momentum as a consequence.
Race 4	Angler's Arms Tavern Sprint - C4 - 295	FICKLE MISTRESS (2) - placed in restricted room to the inside of MOHICAN RUN entering the bend checking outwards off heels bumping with KETCHIKAN KIM. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. GOLDSTAR DIESEL (3) - squeezed for room early stages losing ground. REPLICA CASINO (4) - squeezed for room early stages losing considerable ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. KETCHIKAN KIM (5) - squeezed for room early stages losing ground. Bumped when racing round the bend by FICKLE MISTRESS and forced to race wide. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. MOHICAN RUN (6) - came down the track early stages placing pressure on inside runners.
Race 5	Thursday Place Pick Sprint - C5 - 295	SMASH GRENADE (1) - awkwardly positioned to the inside of COLBERT exiting the bend before bumping with this runner entering the home straight. GOLDSTAR TROOPER (3) - placed in restricted room entering the bend and was unable to improve. JINJA ELLIE (4) - jostled briefly with COLBERT early stages. COLBERT (5) - jostled briefly with JINJA ELLIE early stages. Awkwardly placed to the outside of SMASH GRENADE exiting the bend before bumping with this runner entering the home straight. BLACK ROUNDER (7) - slow early.
Race 6	Active Electrical Christchurch Dash - C5 - 295	DAHTESTE (3) - checked off the heels of PITA RAMOS rounding the bend. FIRED UP JED (6) - bumped down the track by PLATINUM MARSHAL early stages. PLATINUM MARSHAL (7) - lost ground when heavily contacted from the outside by BENDER TRUTH early stages bumping down onto FIRED UP JED as a result. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. . BENDER TRUTH (8) - came inwards at the start colliding with PLATINUM MARSHAL.
Race 7	Crate & Barrel Hotel Stakes - C3 - 520	OPAWA SILVER (1) - collided with SPRING MECHANIC on jumping. Squeezed for room first bend and had to check. SPRING MECHANIC (2) - collided with OPAWA SILVER on jumping. Jostled with GOLDSTAR SYDNEY exiting the final bend. VON STRASS (3) - obliged to check off the heels of DYNA ELLIOT entering the first bend forcing SAUSAGE and OPAWA RACER wide. OPAWA ROOSTER (4) - squeezed for room first bend and had to check. SAUSAGE (5) - collided with GOLDSTAR SYDNEY first bend. GOLDSTAR SYDNEY (7) - considerably slow to jump. Collided with SAUSAGE first bend. Squeezed for racing room exiting the final bend whilst jostling with SPRING MECHANIC.
Race 8	Christchurch Casino Stakes - C4/5 - 520	DYNA VARSITY (1) - checked off the heels of START THE SHOW first bend. Brushed the shoulder of START THE SHOW prior to the finish line. START THE SHOW (2) - brushed with the shoulder of DYNA VARSITY prior to the finish line. THRILLING WATCH (3) - placed in restricted room in the run to the first bend. Awkwardly positioned on heels entering the first bend before climbing on the heels of SAILOR ALLEN and running wide. KNOW REFUSAL (5) - slow to jump. FAMOUS LEE (8) - forced up the track entering the first bend by THRILLING WATCH. SAILOR ALLEN (9/4) - dragged down entering the first bend and lost ground. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
Race 9	Kolorful Kanvas Christchurch Classic Heat 1 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 1	HOMEBUSH HOTSHOT (5) - slow early. Weakened final stages. GO VEGAS (6) - contacted from the inside early stages by BORN ELLIE. MY GIOVANNI (7) - contacted from the outside by OPAWA TODDY early stages. OPAWA TODDY (8) - came in and collided with MY GIOVANNI early stages. BORN ELLIE (9/3) - shifted up the track early stages colliding with GO VEGAS.
Race 10	Kolorful Kanvas Christchurch Classic Heat 2 - R/Aq - 520 Heat 2	GOLDSTAR YANKEE (2) - placed in tight quarters when racing to the inside of OPAWA NAT exiting the final bend. GOLDSTAR WILLA (3) - crowded early stages checking inwards off heels. Hampered when racing to the inside of OPAWA VINNY entering the first. OPAWA VINNY (4) - came inwards early stages crowding GOLDSTAR WILLA. Wide first bend. PUNCH ON REX (5) - awkwardly placed entering the first bend when racing to the outside of GOLDSTAR WILLA. OPAWA NAT (7) - awkwardly placed tot he outside of GOLDSTAR YANKEE exiting the final bend. DOUBLE SCOOP (8) - slow early.
Race 11	The Turf Bar Sprint - C5 - 295	MEMOIR (1) - checked from behind by BUS ROCCA entering the bend losing ground. NELSO ALLEN (2) - slow early. Lost momentum when placed in tight quarters entering the bend. GOLDSTAR DODGE (3) - contacted from the outside by PLATINUM PAISLEY entering the bend. BUSY ROCCA (4) - climbed on the heels of MEMOIR entering the bend losing momentum. PLATINUM PAISLEY (5) - came in and collided with GOLDSTAR DODGE entering the bend. OPAWA LACY (6) - hampered when racing to the outside of MEMOIR entering the bend. TREVILLE (7) - boxed first. PRINCELY GOLD (8) - slow early.
