Judicial report: SUPPLEMENTARY REPORT: Otago GRC - 9 July 2019 - 1) Trainer D Fahey advised Stewards that his greyhound 'OPAWA HOP ' had sustained a sprain hock during the running of Race 11.~~

JUDICIAL REPORT:-

1). GO DIEGO (J & D Fahey) - completed a solo trial for the Amazing Chase in a time of 30.45~~

2). OPAWA DEAL (J & D Fahey) - completed a solo trial for the Amazing Chase in a time of 30.26~~

3). BOSS COBRA (J & D Fahey) - completed a solo trial for the Amazing Chase in a time of 30.43~~

4). BOYKA (J & D Fahey) - completed a solo trial for the Amazing Chase in a time of 30.12 and was subjected to a post race swab.~~

5). OUR AMBER ( R Wales) - stood down for Marring in Race 3.~~

6). SMASH STORY (M Grant) - was a late scratching from Race 4 at kenneling after being found to be In Season.~~

7). OUR COOK ( R Wales) - stood down for Marring in Race 5.~~

8). SAY CHEESE ( A Lee) - was a late scratching from Race 10 after been found to be in season upon retrieval from the kennels.~~

9). DON'T CRY JONI (A Lee) - stood down for Failing to Pursue the Lure in Race 11.~~

10). Trainer R Wales was fined $50.00 for failing to have the registration papers available for OPAWA NAT in Race 11.~~

11). Handler J McInerney Jnr was cautioned for the untimely manner in which he boxed his greyhound in Race 12.~~

12). ELTON BLUEBLOOD (J McInerney) - was a late scratching from Race 13 at kenneling on Veterinary advice.~~

13). The Photo Finishes were not available for Races 13-15.

SMASH BURTON (5) - squeezed for racing room early stages. Jostled with inside greyhound exiting the bend. MR. HARDWICK (6) - contacted from the inside early stages before bumping with inside greyhound.
Race 2	A2C Asphalt 2 Concrete Ph 0800222583 Dash - C0 - 295	HOMEBUSH REED (2) - lost ground when placed in restricted room entering the bend. GOLDSTAR REBEL (3) - jostled with inside runner entering the bend. PIERRE (4) - checked off heels entering the bend and lost ground. OPAWA JODY (5) - jostled with inside runner rounding the bend before being obliged to check off heels. SOZIN'S ASSASSIN (6) - jostled with inside runner rounding the bend before being obliged to race wider on the track. PRECIOUS PAYTON (9/1) - placed in tight quarters entering the bend having to check.
Race 3	Addington Events Centre Stakes - C0 - 520	Race delayed due to South Canterbury RC running behind schedule. GOLDSTAR WYNTER (2) - lost momentum rounding the final bend when awkwardly positioned between runners. OUR AMBER (3) - jostled with outside greyhound early stages. Turned its head outwards so as to make muzzle contact with the greyhound to its outside throughout the run home. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Marring. LAKOTA KOHANA (4) - hampered for racing rom early stages. Awkwardly placed entering the first bend losing ground.Bumped with inside runner exiting the final bend before being Marred by the runner to its inside through the run home. PUNTERS LAST (9/5) - jostled with inside greyhound early stages losing ground.
Race 4	Islington Tavern Sprint - C0 - 295	SMASH STORY - was a late scratching at kenneling. SMASH MCDOUGAL (2) - squeezed for room early stages. HOMEBUSH GINA (3) - squeezed for room early stages. Dragged down and lost ground rounding the bend. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. SEFTON DOUBLE (4) - squeezed for room early stages. OPA'S MATE (5) - slow early. Climbed on heels rounding the bend. GOLDSTAR WILLA (6) - slow to jump. DOUBLE SCOOP (7) - came down the track early stages placing pressure on inside runners.Shifted up the track exiting the bend becoming awkwardly positioned on the hindquarters of outside greyhound.
Race 5	Shirley Vet Clinic Stakes - C0 - 520	OPA'S DREAM (1) - marred by the runner to its inside prior to entering the final bend and then again throughout the run home. GOLDSTAR TAWNY (2) - collided with outside greyhound in the run to the bend. Checked outwards off heels entering the first bend. OUR COOK (4) - hampered from behind entering the first bend. Turned its head inwards so as to make muzzle contact with the greyhound to its inside prior to entering the final bend and again throughout the run home. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Marring. GO PUNTER GO (5) - bumped with the hind quarters of outside runner early stages. Collided with inside greyhound in the run to the bend. NEPTUNE ALLEN (6) - began awkwardly. Hampered entering the first bend. MY KIRSTY (7) - bumped from the inside early stages. Awkwardly placed on heels entering the first bend.
Race 6	Swimming Goat @ Stud Dash - C2 - 295	ETERNAL DEBT (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend losing momentum before shifting up the track hampering outside greyhound. HIGH VIOLET (2) - bumped down the track inthe run to the bend. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend and lost ground. Checked and forced wide rounding the bend losing its chance. referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. COLD AFFAIR (4) - checked inwards off heels in the run to the bend bumping with inside greyhound. NIKKO BAXTER (6) - collided with outside runner early stages. JITTERBUG JEWEL (7) - collided with inside runner early stages. JINJA CREAM FIZZ (8) - held up for racing room rounding the bend.
Race 7	Angler's Arms Tavern Stakes - C1 - 520	M'LADY SADIE (1) - awkwardly placed between runner rounding the final bend. LITTLE SECRET (3) - boxed first. KNOW ANXIETY (4) - raced wide entering the first bend. SEFTON JOY (5) - awkwardly placed between runner rounding the final bend. OPAWA VINNY (6) - checked in off heels entering the first bend. FLYING CANARY (7) - awkwardly placed to the outside of runners rounding the final bend. TRAJAN (8) - boxed first. Placed in restricted room rounding the final bend.
Race 8	Murray & Hannah @ Ray White Cashmere Dash - C2 - 295	GOLDSTAR GALAXIE (2) - had to check when awkwardly placed between runners entering the bend.Checked inwards off heels exiting the bend. SNICKERDOODLE (3) - slow early. CITIZEN AGUERO (5) - awkwardly placed on heels rounding the bend before jostling with inside runner. MICK THE MOWER (9/6) - jostled and lost ground exiting the bend.
Race 9	Amber Cleaning Services Stakes - C2 - 520	NO KISSY MISSY (2) - bumped from the outside early stages. Bumped with outside runner entering the back straight. KNOW PUDDING (3) - contacted inside runner early stages. OPAWA FLASH (4) - faltered and lost ground with field entering the first bend. Continued to lose ground thereafter. Referred to the Veterinarian where it was reported to be lame in its lumbosacral joint and be lame in its right front wrist. OPAWA TAB (6) - bumped from the inside early stages. COSMIC RUBEN (7) - bumped from the inside entering the back straight.
Race 10	Steve Anngow Drapes & Blinds Ph0272719588 Dash - C2 - 295	SAY CHEESE - was a late scratching. KNOW APPROVAL (1) - placed in restricted room entering the bend. TARAMAKAU (5) - jostled with outside runner early stages. Squeezed for racing room entering the bend. WHOSE HE (6) - jostled with outside runner early stages. HOMEBUSH REHAINA (8) - awkwardly placed on heels entering the bend losing momentum.

Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury. Stood down for 28 days and pending a satisfactory trial for Failing to Pursue the Lure. OHOKA CARSEN (3) - checked off heels first bend colliding with outside runner. SEFTON JILL (4) - checked from behind first bend losing ground. STUMPY BILL (5) - slow early. Race 12	Active Electrical Christchurch Sprint - C1 - 295	COSMIC RYDER (3) - hampered rounding the bend. PLATONIC AFFAIR (4) - boxed first. GOLDSTAR CLOVER (5) - checked off heels early stages. Again checked off heels exiting the bend. HOMEBUSH RAPPER (6) - slow early. PUNTERS BOLT (7) - hampered rounding the bend.
Race 13	Dave Robbie Photographer Dash - C1 - 295	LUCY LINGERS (1) - boxed first. Hampered entering the bend. NIPPA ENOUGH (2) - squeezed for room entering the bend losing ground and check other runners. Referred to the Veterinarian and cleared of injury.
